Diamond Lake has been a favorite vacationing spot to many families over the years. The clean, warm 70-79 degree waters of Diamond Lake makes our lake very desireable...the waters of nearby lakes: Priest Lake, Lake Pend Oreille and Lake Couer d' Alene are much bigger and much, much colder.

Winter vacations at our home are also popular as well. Snowmobiling is very close by, along with cross country skiing and 3 downhill ski areas within an hours drive: Schweitzer Ski Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho/49 Degrees North in Chewelah,WA/Mount Spokane Ski Area in Spokane, WA

Our guests are pleasantly surprised upon arrival, as our home sits on a 25 mph road in which kids ride their bikes and walk up to the little store for an ice cream. Parents can also enjoy the 1/4 mile walk up for coffee in the morning, or an adult beverage in the evening, to the small bar and restaurant. Families also enjoy a morning stroll up for morning breakfasts or a cup of coffee.

Our lake home is "on the right side of the lake" & families love our gorgeous sunsets as well as the western exposure!!!

There is a BBQ on the main floor deck right off the kitchen. There is plenty of room for all to eat at our dining room table and counter bar---but we prefer to eat outside on the deck most evenings.

There is plenty of dishes, silverware, crystal glasses, plastic ware for kids, pots and pans, a coffee makers, a griddle, a toaster, wine glasses, a gas BBQ outside and outside chairs. Our home offers cable TV, a DVD player and TV's; one in each bedroom, the kitchen and living room downstairs.

We do NOT rent to vacationing college students or groups in which the majority of renters are under the ages of 30. We also require all guests to adhere to a very strict 9 pm to 9 am NOISE ORDINANCE RULE.

  • Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations) : Our main floor is wheelchair accessible, however, YOU MUST GO DOWN EIGHT STEPS TO ACCESS THE MAIN FLOOR OF OUR HOME. We have had wheelchairs, but they need to be carried down the stairs. There is not an accessible shower for wheelchairs, but the toilet can be accessed and the first floor of our home.
