Come, be our guests at "Sheckler's On The Lake" and relax on our sandy beachfront! Our 3 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath WATERFRONT home and is perfect for family gatherings. We offer 2 Master Suites complete with their own bathrooms, one with a Queen bedroom and 1 King bed along with a third bedroom with a Queen bed. We also offer 2 Full size futons-one in each living room along with our third bedroom with a Queen bed. Each bed is newer, very comfortable and offers a TV. We hope to be offering 1-2 guest cabins that offer great waterfront views, too. You will also enjoy a Private Boat Dock,our PRIMARY WATERFRONT HOME has a great SANDY BEACHFRONT for the kids. Our home has "Year Around Access", public water and sewer and very nice accommodations (NO RUSTIC ACCOMMODATIONS HERE). Come, experience the lake when it freezes over for a Winter Wonderland Weekend, too!

Everything in our home is very nice and most of our furniture, mattresses, bedding, towels and kitchen amenities are all brand new and upscale. We offer fluffy towels, new 300-400 thread count sheets and warm flannel sheets in the winter time.

We are located just 40 minutes North of Spokane, WA and an hour from Coeur d' Alene, ID on Diamond Lake-which is one of the warmest, artesian fed lakes in the area. ***WATERSKIING & JET SKIING IS ALLOWED ON DIAMOND LAKE***

"Sheckler's On The Lake" is Spokane's Premier Waterfront Vacation Rental. Our home offers privacy outside as well as inside. Familes love our home and guest cabins and some vacation with us year after year. We offer: 2 Master Suites with their own bathrooms, a 3rd bedroom, 2 living rooms each with a full size futon, and a sandy beach that offers great privacy and gorgeous waterfront views.

Your family and friends will be very impressed with our nice, new comforters, calphalon pots and pans, crystal glasses, and our fish dishes that include a service for 12-24 people. The chef in your family will love our kitchen that is complete with a flat screen TV and enough spices for to cook up the perfect meal. *Our home offers great cell phone reception (Verizon works great)

"Sheckler's On The Lake" offers a lot more PRIVACY than other lake houses do and sits on a nice, large lot with gorgeous sunset views. We are just off Highway 2 and sit on a quiet local road. Kids are seen walking, riding their bikes and walking up to the small store for ice cream in the summer. It is a great, kid friendly atmosphere with a 25 mph speed limit.

Situated within the trees, our lake home is "on the right side of the lake." Inside, you will find: stainless steel kitchen appliances, engineered stone kitchen counter tops, two dining room tables and a kitchen counter bar. We can easily seat 12 at the dining room tables, 4 at the kitchen counter and 4 more outside. We have plenty of dishes, silverware, crystal glasses, plastic ware for kids, pots and pans, 2 coffee makers, a griddle, a toaster, wine glasses, a gas BBQ outside and 10-12 outside chairs. Our home offers cable TV, a DVD player and we have a total of 5 TV's; one in each bedroom, the kitchen and living room downstairs. Diamond Lake is so clean, it is known as "The lake that sparkles." It is so clear you can see out 60 feet and watch the fish swim by. The depth of the water ranges from a couple of inches at shore to about 4 feet at the end of the boat dock, so don't forget your boat and jet skis! Come, experience PARADISE...you won't want to leave!

  • My family and I came to this secret paradise. We stayed there over Memorial Day weekend for five wonderful days. Our friends brought their boat. The lake was perfect glass the whole time. It was much warmer then the water at Coeur d' Alene Lake last time we went there. We brought our dog and he stayed in the cabin with us. The neighbor and everyone we meet at the Lake were so friendly. By the second day, we were all calling each other by name just like we had been friends forever. Riley, the Eagle Scout Neighbor help my boys with forest safety rules. The boys caught three huge fish right from the dock. One was 36in long and the meat was pink inside, Wow did that taste good! We also meet Jeff and Kathy Kibble who have property down the road, what wonderful people. Jeff works for John L Scott and told us a little history about the lake. We had them out on the boat and over for dinner one night. They also show us the store down the road (walking distance) and a cute little pub. They had music and dancing, the next thing you know it Grandma had everyone in the place doing the limbo! The cabins were great for our kids. The boys took turns with the outside cabins because they couldn’t make up their mind. Both cabins have beautiful views and fun to stay in. The view was so relaxing and a nice break from the city. Thank you for renting us this amazing place!! We can’t wait to come back. Thanks again Sheckler’s.

  • What a vacation! We booked our vacation over Memorial Day weekend and had our family reunion there. This is the most beautiful and peaceful place we have ever had the opportunity to stay at. My boys caught fish right off the dock and my husband didn't even have to take them out in the boat. The water was warmer than any other lake in WA this time of the year and the views were to die for. We had a great time. The cabins made it wonderful as we stayed in the larger ones with our two boys, and we put my parents in the master bedroom upstairs, my in-laws in the master bedroom downstairs with the great lake views and my sister-in-law stayed in the other bedroom. Thanks so much for making this a vacation to remember. We will definately be booking for 2009!!!

  • "We used to think that Lake Tahoe was Heaven on Earth. That was before we were introduced to this awesome cabin on Diamond Lake. We have stayed here both summer and winter for the past two years. Whether it’s sitting on the dock watching the gorgeous sunsets on the hot summer nights or gazing across the frozen lake from the Great Room in January, this is absolutely the most peaceful, re-energizing retreat that we have ever found. The furnishings are very nice. There is ample room for family and friends and with the multiple levels, everyone has their privacy. The convenience store and restaurant are just a short walk away and the people are very friendly. Looking forward to our next visit!"

  • "Living in the New York City 11 months of the year makes you miss the sunsets. My wife, kids and I rented the place for 1 whole month and we wanted to stay. June is a perfect time to be by the lake enjoying the days by the water. Lazy days by the water were breathtaking and the nights watching the sunset just too beautiful. This year time is limited to only 1 week there so 30 days of fun will have to get crammed into 7. The area is very beautiful and the place kept up very well. I would recomended the place to 2 co workers and all my friends and family. Mark me down for Summer of 2008 & 2009. "

  • "We stayed here last June and fell in love with it! The view is AMAZING! It was very easy to find from the Spokane airport. We stocked up on a few essentials at a grocery store before we got there but found a little store/restaurant within walking distance! (great if you don't feel like cooking too) We didn't get back in the car until it was time to leave. The inside of the house was very clean and well maintained...looks brand new! We sat out front in the morning sun with our coffee and were greeted by people walking by, then moved to the back in the afternoon. This place is very relaxing! Make sure you check the weather if you are coming from a warm climate like Texas. Take a light jacket or sweatshirt for the evenings. It was a nice break from the Texas heat in June! Met some wonderful people and will definitely go again! Well worth the trip!"

  • "We were there in September. The house is very tastefully decorated and many upgrades in kithcen area. Great for entertaining.The sunsets are beautiful, and can be seen from the deck off the kitchen a living area. Then on the next level, the guest area and master bedroom area, the view is also the last thing you see before you retire and the first thing you see upon rising. The mornings are peaceful. I chose to gab a few minutes with my coffee on the deck in silence except for the birds who woke up before I did. As the day picked up, the neighbors travel by in their boats waving salutations as if we lived there. What great fun! Our friends brought their boat ans jet skis and putt them in at the nearby public launching area. It was perfect for all who came. We would rent this for our next water adventure vacation."
