I stayed here with my toddler son and 3 additional adults and we enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient. It was great to have so many attractions within walking distance. We appreciated the 4 separate bedrooms so that there was plenty of room for everyone and my son was able to play outside in the enclosed downstairs courtyard which was nice.

Quite simply the best rental property we have ever had. Excellent facilities, spacious, clean and a very good location for exploring Albuquerque and New Mexico. It served the needs of a family which included 2 teenagers really well with the space for us to entertain local relatives in the evening. We particularly enjoyed being able to have breakfast in the private outside area in the mornings and watching the balloons float by.

This house is terrific! We were a group of 5 adults, two teenagers, and 1 baby. One adult had limited mobility (walker/wheelchair). The house was perfectly suited for us with a bedroom and full bath downstairs and three bedrooms and a full bath plus extra sink upstairs. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good water pressure. Plenty of towels. We had an issue with the air conditioning, but the owners took immediate action and it was promptly fixed (quicker than we could have gotten it fixed at home!). The house was well furnished. We did not cook gourment meals, but found everything we needed in the kitchen for basic cooking. All basic utensils and cooking pots/pans were there. We felt the photos accurately reflected the townhouse's appearance and that the property was very clean and well-maintained. The location is wonderful! Just a short walk to Old Town. Starbucks around the corner. Hotel Alburqueque across the streets. We are particular about our lodging (particularly in regards to cleanliness) and would stay here in a hearbeat if we came back. Owner (Robert) responded immediately to every email inquiry and was very easy to work with. Highly recommend this property- so much better than a hotel stay.

Our family of ten enjoyed living in an ABQ Vacations condo the first week of July, 2012, and had a great time together. Kudos to Robert for all that he did to help us plan and make reservations, as well as consultation assistance during our stay. His genial spirit, knowledge, and care certainly helped us have a happy, fulfilling week. The condo location, easy walking blocks from Old Town, also contributed to our ease of travel and variety of good times. Several attractions, shops, and restaurants were all easily accessible. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, as well as the downtown terminal for a ride the RailRunner to Santa Fe, were within easy driving distance and time from our ABQ Vacations location. The Sandia Peak Tram is about 45 minutes away. The condo being well-equipped with excellent quality furnishings and equipment also enabled us to care for everyday needs, whether washing dishes or clothes, without worry or delay. Our family of ten included 7, 9, 14, and 18 year olds, as well as their adult parents and us two grandparents. Any one of us would be happy to recommend ABQ Vacations! Thanks, again, Robert.

Great rental and very professional management. Unit was excellent and a short walk to Old Town. Whenever I return to ABQ, I will check to see if this unit is available or what else this company has.

The photos posted on the site were quite a bit different then the actual dwelling. Bedrooms chain fans in the upper bedroom's were broken, making the upstairs very hot. Carpets were heavily soiled and kitchen cooking utensils limited. We also had some insect issues. I spoke with the manager who said they would be fixing the problems. Meanwhile, it was a very expensive stay for uninviting accommodations.

Owner response: This is our first less than 4-star review in the four years we have been renting homes in Albuquerque. We take the comments seriously and wish that Lisa had a more enjoyable stay with us. Our carpets are routinely cleaned, but they were in need of cleaning when this guest arrived. They were cleaned again last week. In the spring, the little critters outside get active and can make their way indoors. After we heard from Lisa about seeing bugs in the home, we immediately had the home sprayed by a professional exterminator. We have him routinely treat the home, but it hadn't been sprayed over the winter. We've examined the pictures to compare to current conditions and the only difference we spot is the window coverings. After a few guest comments that it could get too bright in the mornings, we replaced the vertical blinds with black-out drapes. Everything else is as pictured. Chains on the fans were not broken, they just did not have extensions installed to make it easy to reach. Chain extensions will be installed after the current guest departs. Don't expect a gourmet kitchen, but we routinely have guests cook big meals, including Thanksgiving dinner, with the equipment we provide. Based on the comments we've received from others, the cooking equipment in the home appears to be more than adequate for most. We pride ourselves in providing high quality accommodations at a great price. Guest comments are really important to us so we can adjust, correct and improve. That just makes it better for the next guest.

This is the 2nd year that our party of 6 rented this condo for a week's stay in Albuquerque. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed gathering around the fireplace in the evenings. The condo is large enough that everyone can retreat to a private space for awhile especially with the 2 patios that are available. We enjoyed being able to walk to Old Town shops within a few minutes from the condo. The only criticism I had was that there weren't baking pans in the kitchen. We actually went out and bought a 13X9 pan as we cooked every night we were there.

Our extended family of six stayed here for two nights following Thanksgiving and had a great visit, facilitated greatly by the convenience and ease of the stay. Robert is very well-organized and professional on his part and the property is very nice, with comfortable beds, clean living and dining areas, and a very functional kitchen. The location is convenient to both Old Town attractions (as well as Starbucks) and also to I-40 & I-25, so getting to other locations in Albuquerque is easy. Should we have a need in the future, we will not hesitate to return!

Perfect location for OLD TOWN, great restaurants, close to highway, Walgreens and grocery. Michaels and Monica's were fantastic restaurants within a few blocks. Charming people. Great beds, plenty of hot water, washer/drier great. Plenty of room for 6 adults, 8 would have been tight. If the kitchen had been better stocked with cooking and serving neccesities the overall experience would be Excellent.

              Owner info

              Year Purchased: 2008

About the owner: My partners and I decided we would purchase a home and furnish it just for folks coming to vacation in Albuquerque. (That home is VRBO listing # 134421.) We had such a good response that we have since purchased two other homes in the same town house community (this one and listing # 164209). New Mexico is such a great place to live that we were excited to share to others. Thanks for checking out our properties!

              Why the Owner Chose Albuquerque:
We had a demanding list of requirements: - We wanted a home that was convenient to some of the best that Albuquerque has to offer. Great restaurants, shops and museums. - The home had to be convenient to get to (close to the Interstate). - The home had to be in a friendly neighborhood that was quiet and safe. - The floor plan had to provide easy access and sufficient privacy. The Pueblo del Norte town house community perfectly filled all these requirements.

The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
My partner Jana is a great decorator. She has created some marvelous living spaces. The pictures tell the story. Plus, since the home is within walking distance to some of Albuquerque's best restaurants, a great winery and a Starbucks, what more could I ask for?
