  My husband and I made reservations here very last minute. I contacted Dan and from the very first e-mail, I felt confident that we were making a good choice in a motel. We knew the locations would be ideal! We were very pleasantly surprised when we walked into our unit and saw how clean and spacious it was. Staying there for 2 weeks was just perfect. Dan and his wife were very attentive to all our needs. They were on the premises everyday and could be contacted by phone at all hours. We got clean towels everyday and housekeeping once a week. It was a very quiet and very friendly place to stay. I would highly recommend Ocean Pearl Motel to everyone wanting to be near the beach and ocean.

  I chose Ocean Pearl because of it's convenient location to family, friends, beaches, and local attractions as well as allowing my "big" dog. I spent 3+ weeks here in Feb. and March. The complex itself is small which was great for getting to know all of my "neighbors." I felt safe at all times. The room was the perfect size for me and was easy to maintain. Proprietors, Barb and Dan were great hosts, making themselves available for any needs that would arise. I loved having the beach across the street and the intercoastal a block behind me where I could enjoy my morning coffee while watching the manatee. Thanks for helping to make this a great vacation.

  2 of us (adults in our late 40's) stayed, wonderful location, across from Hillsborough Beach, a few blocks from the fishing pier where all the action is...The room was very large, quiet, easy parking, new tile floor and Dan the owner was very accomodating...We recommend it for people of all ages...

  We hadn't been in the south Florida area for over 40 years and found Dan and the Ocean Pearl Motel on-line. It was everything the ad said and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. Dan is the ultimate host and owner and saw to all our needs. The rooms were comfortable and loved having the kitchen facilities. The location was perfect for our trip. We were able to walk the beach and were not to far from visiting friends. Thanx for making our week in Florida a great experience!!!

  My Family of 4 stayed at the Ocean Pearl over Christmas 2010. Clean rooms, close to the beach (like 1/2 block) and very friendly accommodating owner. Dan was there everyday and made sure we had clean towels and anything else we needed. Our room was a little "dated" but as far as a beach rental goes everything was fine and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  I wanted to go down to South Florida for my 30th High School Reunion. However, as we all know in this economy times are a bit tough financially. I lucked out though. A friend told me about the Ocean Pearl Motel. It is not the Ritz Carlton and they have no fancy maid service but it is clean, pleasant and right across the street from the beach. In fact, if you luck out (as I did) and are able to get the suite upstairs you can actually see the ocean. I didn't have the capital to rent a car so my friends had to take me back and forth to the reunion events in the evenings but it all worked out great because they loved hanging with me and going to the beach during the day. In fact, some days we didn't even go to the beach, because I had my own private deck when I rented the upstairs unit. Boy, was that a Fabulous trip!!!!!! A GREAT time was had by all!!!!!!!!!!!!

  We stayed at this property in August for one week. Its in a great location one block from the beach. Our room was clean & the owner was very helpful with any questions we had. The bathrooms are a little old but overall a good deal for the money.

  Recommended for: Pet owners.
