This luxurious 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home sits adjacent to Rosemary Beach in the very upscale but quiet, private and safe gated community called Water's Edge. The house is 2200 sq. ft of luxury that will truly be a home away from home. It is on the SOUTH side of 30-A, which means there are NO STREETS TO CROSS TO THE BEACH! This is especially great for the safety of kids!
This ideal vacation home has a true Florida Cottage feel with pine floors, pine wainscotting, and hand painted cabinets with granite countertops. In addition, it has 1100 sq. ft of expansive porches that offer spectacular gulf views as well as soothing ocean breezes.
In the back of the home, you will find a beautifully landscaped courtyard with your own private pool, which can be heated for a nominal charge, and patio with a gas grill for those spring and summer evening cook-outs. Just a short 75-yard walk down an immaculately manicured palm tree lined path takes you to one of the most beautiful beaches in America. Welcome to Barefoot Daze!
The luxurious furnishings of Barefoot Daze were designed with comfort and taste in mind. The bedrooms are all comfortable and designed for beach living. TV's and ceiling fans are in each room. Wireless internet available for your convenience. The 2nd floor master suite has a King size bed, a private bath with a whirlpool tub, a separate shower and it overlooks the pool area below. All beds are appointed with down feather toppers to make your sleeping more comfortable.
Across the hall from the master suite is another 2nd floor bedroom with a king-sized bed and adjoining full bath. At the top of the stairway sits the bunkroom, a perfect retreat for kids. The twin bunks are cozy, and the TV in this room makes for an ideal hideaway for the kids. The first floor bedroom has a queen-sized bed and its own private bath.
The best room in the house is at the TOP! The 3rd floor "Tower Room" is awesome. Views of the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding communities are spectacular! This room can be used as a bonus room for games and movies or as retreat for couples, teens, or in-laws who prefer their own living quarters. Here we have a comfortable sitting area with awesome views, a queen sleeper sofa combined with a queen-sized bed and full private bath and wet bar!
Everyone will want this part of the home to themselves - the back porches (1st and 2nd floors) overlook the courtyard and pool in the rear of the home where you can sit in the rocking chairs and enjoy the magnificent views and ocean breezes.
The large living room is comfortable and, like the rest of the home, is very tastefully decorated by one of the area's premier interior designers, with a large TV with DVD and stereo with speakers in the living room and back porch. The dining room and the kitchen bar are large enough for the whole family to enjoy lunch or dinner together.
This home is conveniently located only a 3-minute stroll to the shops and restaurants of Rosemary Beach but offers enough seclusion to make any vacation peaceful and relaxing. For those of you that wish to stay "connected" to the outside world while still enjoying our piece of paradise, we offer wireless highspeed internet.
The newly built outdoor shopping mall, called Pier Park, is a short 10-minute drive east on 98 (toward Panama City). It has a fabulous cinema, as well as wonderful shops and restaurants. Nearby golf courses include Camp Creek Golf Club (1 mile), Santa Rosa Beach Golf Club (approximately 8 miles), The Hombre (15 minutes), several courses in Sandestin including Burnt Pine (25 minutes), and Bay Pointe in Panama City (25 minutes). This area is a hidden paradise for golfers!!

Barefoot Daze is a beautiful, relaxing vacation home. The description above is spot on. The property was clean and spacious. There was more than enough room for our entire party of 9 adults. It is a short walk to the beach as well as the town of Rosemary. The town provided dining, shopping, entertainment and recreation. You could stay for a week and never get in your car. I highly recommend Barefoot Daze to families and friends searching for the perfect vacation spot.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
