This gorgeous family home offers complete privacy on a hilltop with beautiful sunset views. Everything is state-of-the-art in this retreat, which feels more like a luxurious vacation site than a log home. Located in Ashland City- only a scenic 20 mile drive on 4-lane highways to all the excitement of Music City's downtown!
KITCHENS (yes, there are TWO kitchens in this home!): Everything in the upstairs kitchen is VIKING--if you want to cook, you will love cooking here. Professional chefs have stayed at this home, and were 'blown away' by the kitchen! The second kitchen is downstairs.
BEDROOMS: Three bedrooms upstairs, with a king bed in the large master bedroom, queen in 2nd bedroom, and twin beds in 3rd. Downstairs has two more bedrooms, with a queen in one and twins in the other. The sheets and beds are SO comfortable! The downstairs bedrooms are very private.
BATHROOMS: Master bath has rain shower and jacuzzi tub. One guest who stayed here reported, 'The master bathroom is unlike any home or hotel I have ever stayed in; it is a masterpiece by itself!' There is a nice bathroom in the hallway upstairs near two other upstairs bedrooms, and a 3rd bathroom in the hallway downstairs that the final two bedrooms share. No need to bring towels- they're waiting for you here!
A front porch with 4 rocking chairs & a porch swing, a back deck with fire pit and chaise lounges, a loft with couches and books... surrounded by nature and in complete privacy, yet only 30 minutes from the city... It doesn't get much better than this!! If you like peace, comfort, and relaxation, you're in luck, as this beautiful home is THE perfect getaway spot to escape from busyness, spend time reading and writing, enjoy the company of family and friends... And only 20 miles to all that Music City's downtown has to offer!

Great house. Enough room for my wife, myself, 8 other adults and 3 young children (4,2 and 1). Great way to spend Memorial Day with family.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I have several life-long friends scattered from New Brunswick, Canada to Seattle, Washington. This year we decided to do a reunion. Nashville was kind of in the middle. We really almost through a dart at a map. It really wasn't about the city but being together. The location was the added bonus. We needed a great place fro friends to hang out, laugh and catch up. Well, when I saw this home it looked perfect. Our expectations of the home were well surpassed. The owners thought of everything. Pool table, ping pong, propane fire pit, grill, comfy beds, a world class hot tub and shower in the master and good books! All this in a picturesque serene location. June, one of the owners, gave me personal recommendations for great places to eat etc. I have rented off VRBO many times and I can 100% tell you this was the most positive experience with the owners I have ever had. In addition, it was the best place I have ever stayed. I can't begin to tell you how perfect it was for a group of friends. We barely left the place to get to town. Don't hesitate and book this place immediately. Thanks for a great stay! BTW, whatever they do to the towels is amazing. The freshest and best smelling bath towels I have ever experienced.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was our second stay in this retreat, and it just keeps getting better. The house is perfect for our group of lifelong friends to get together for a weekend to reconnect. The kitchen is perfect for cooking together - it is large and well appointed. The common areas are large with plenty of room for visiting and catching up. The owners have given a lot of attention to the details and we immediately feel at home. It is quiet and beautiful there, yet Nashville is close enough for an easy trip downtown for dinner. This is the second time we have used this cabin for our high-school mini-reunions and was just as awesome this time as it was 2 years ago! Actually it was better as we knew what to expect! There are 10 of us and this house works out GREAT! Getting up the driveway always provides a certain level of how shall I say..."Entertainment"!! We plan on using it again in 2 years! See you in 2015!!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I cant say enough good things about our stay in this cabin. It is located on the top of a hill with total seclution. I live in the mountains on a private lot so this made me feel right at home with a ton of perks. The cabins decor was outstanding. Fire pit and grill on the back deck made for a fun evening of hotdogs, hamburgers and smores. You dont want to pass this one up if you are in the Nashville area. I have stayed in many cabins in the Smokey Mt area and this one tops them all.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

My girlfriends & I, a group of 10, stayed here for a ladies' weekend. The home could not have been better! It is a beautiful property with a wonderful view, excellent attention to detail was clearly taken in selecting linens, towels, etc. Not only was planning & paying for the home easy, but once we arrived the owner and manager checked with us to make sure everything was perfect. I can not say enough good things about it! We will definitely be back! If you are looking for a peaceful retreat where you can get away from it all & be convenient to Music City, I can't recommend this place enough!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

A spacious, homey, and lovely place with top-notch accessories! Worth every penny! We would return again and again. The property was clean and well-maintained and actually bigger than it appeared in the photos. We rented the retreat for a family reunion and it couldn't have worked out any better. The home is huge and is even nicer than it looks in the pictures. It is also conveniently located to downtown Nashville and the airport. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Thanks for a GREAT stay in your home ... the property was extremely comfortable and a perfect blend of high-end appliances (Kitchen and TVs) and extremely comfortable furniture (both inside and on the awesome porches) ... the house design brings with it the rustic appeal of the outdoors, but all the modern comforts of modern-day. After a full day of fun in watching NCAA basketball on the big-screen TV, cooking awesome meals in the gourmet kitchen and the gas grill on the porch, walking off my lunch on the hiking trail, and then relaxing on the porch for an afternoon nap followed by relaxing around the fire pit in the evening, we absolutely had a great time ... and we will be back again. For additional perspective, I found the design and setup of the house to be well thought-out ... it was very convenient to have access to the garage for unloads and loading ... and the remotes for opening the gate made access easy ... and the bedrooms were very clean and comfortable ... everyone slept very well. The ping-pong table and pool table were also a ton of fun ... all ages had fun on pin-pong table! As well, having three very nice TVs was very flexible and convient ... I think there were some 500+ channels to watch, or I simply turned on the music channel in the evening and relaxed to some great music. Five out of five stars ... thanks again for a GREAT rental!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Thank you very much for allowing us to rent your beautiful home! Every year my brothers and nephews have a retreat weekend somewhere in the USA. It was my turn to organize it this year and I spent many, many hours researching places to rent. So yours was selected after much deliberation. I can tell you that the home and property where even much nicer than the web site portrrayed. We spent countless hours on the patio with the comfortable furniture and the beautiful scenery. We took an extended walk on the nearby trails through the woods. It was awesome!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
