Excellent accommodations at a very reasonable price. I'm an avid golfer, and I enjoyed playing at nearby General Burnside State Park. Also, we were lucky, in that, the weather was great considering the time of year (sunny & 60s).Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Wonderful location and wonderful home. We immediatly felt at home when we walked in. It was decorated nice like our own home, warm and inviting. It was so nice to not have to bring the little stuff like coffee, butter, etc. It was all there. The house is set back in the gated community and very private. We loved the woods around us. We brought our boat and would leave it at the country store each night. The country store is run by a really nice guy which added to our enjoyment. The boat ramp was a very quick drive down the road (1 mile). It was very easy to get in and out. We decided one day we will buy in this resort (we are still young), but for now we will rent and enjoy this wonderful place. Take a chance even if you don't have a boat. There is a lot of fun to be had!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

What a lovely time we had in this beautiful, secluded home! It included everything you'd need to relax and enjoy: well stocked kitchen, games, tv's, nice pools, fantastic screened porch, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The two doctors in our family really had a chance to unwind in style. We were joined for three days by my aging parents and sister. Everyone from 22-84 had a great time! The men fished a day, we played games, read, went to Cumberland Falls, worked a jigsaw puzzle, and tried out the restaurants. Our favorites were Guthrie's River House, Sully's, The Harbor Restaurant at the Lee's Ford Marina in Nancy, and the Riverview Restuarant near the Falls, The owners were lovely to work with, and we hope to return.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our family stayed in this beautiful cabin for four wonderful nights and loved every minute of it. The owners went out of their way to provide us with one of the most relaxing, stress free vacations that we have ever had. The cabin amenities were numerous, and every time we thought of something that we didn’t bring, or thought that we needed, it was there for our use. As stated in other reviews, the kitchen was fully equipped (and then some) with all the appliances and gadgets of home. We made homemade ice cream, topped with a lovely lemon sauce, had corn on the cob and chicken on the grill. One of the mornings it was raining, so I enjoyed a good book in the upstairs reading nook. For those of you (like us) who have to stay connected, the high speed Wi-Fi was a big plus. The rest of the week, we hiked in the forest, visited Cumberland Falls, rafted on the river, and visited two wineries in the area. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend our sensational experience to everyone.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Our family stayed at this beautiful cabin and it far exceeded our expectations! It was beautifully decorated and furnished with quality items. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay a great one....from paper products to quality linens, bath towels and every kitchen appliance imaginable! It's also centrally located to great fishing and white water rafting! We couldn't have asked for more! We have been renting from owners for over 15 years and this was by far our best experience ever!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We have rented cabins in TN for many years. This KY cabin was the best by far! The photo and descriptions are accurate. Extremely clean, well-stocked with everything needed from kitchenware to games for kids & adults, and decorated beautifully throughout. Everything is very organized, labeled, etc. The owner was helpful with answering questions about the cabin, resort, and area activities. We rented a double-pontoon boat for the day and it was a huge hit with our 4 kids. We hiked Cumberland Falls; played mini-golf in Somerset; swam at gate #1 & #3 pools; played at the tennis courts; and the guys went golfing a day too while my daughter and I did our nails, barbies and simply enjoyed the spacious cabin. We plan to return to the area and hope the cabin is available for us to rent again! Thanks to Jean & John for sharing their beautfiul home!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Thanks so much for sharing your home! It was nearby all of the activities on our to-do list while visiting Lake Cumberland, and the home itself was perfect - very well-maintained with plenty of space for two families. We enjoyed games outside, had coffee each morning on the screen porch, and even used the ice cream maker for some homemade ice cream. The cabin itself is in like-new condition, and had all the amenities we expected and more. We definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a great vacation cabin!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Three of my friends and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the cabin. The pictures on the website do not do the home justice. It is truly lovely. There is a sense of calm that seems to permeate everything from the decor to the view. On a practicle point, the beds are comfortable---including the pullout bed from the love seat in the loft! I highly recommend this cabin!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.
