Our beloved La Luz Cottage was built in the 1950s and has been updated over the last 5 years to become a comfortable and welcoming refuge from city life. The open floor plan makes it accessible for anyone with limited mobility. The house comfortably sleeps 6, with space for 8. As pet lovers ourselves, the house is open to the furry family members too. It was everything as promised, for the price that we paid. The kids LOVED the pier, and they caught a lot of fish. The house was comfy, everything important worked. The added bonus of a washer and dryer was a ginormous help, especially with sandy kids who just came back from the beach. I loved that it had a gated area for my two Corgis, and I didn't have to worry for their safety. The sunsets and sunrises were incredible. While four adults and four kids and two dogs was a cozy fit, it was not uncomfortable. We walked away with a lot of good memories from this place, for that I am grateful. We will be coming back to this place, that's for sure. :D
