My wife and I fish Big Lake each fall for a week. She said if I wanted her to go with me this year, I would need to upgrade her lodging. It took 3 days to decide which way to go but decided to upgrade. After arriving, not only was my wife completely satisfied with the lodging, I soon realized how much more convenient is was to keep my boat in the water and how easy to clean fish and such. I have only good things to say about this home. We already have next years week booked.

We had eight people stay for a five day fishing trip and this place worked out perfectly! It was clean and well furnished and not far to the main channel and the big lake. We had three boats and there was excellent parking space and room at the dock to park all the boats. We will do this place again!!!

Great place to stay easy access to water. We had a wonderfull weekend and caught a lot of fish.I thought we was going to have trouble when the key was not in the lock box but found it in the other door.the only disapointment I had was that there was 7 of us and there was only 4 towels I would think that a camp advertised as sleeping 12 people would have at lease 12 towels and wash cloths. We did not try the night fishing because I could not get the big light to come on. And I would suggest to the owner that you get someone to check the light switches checked and changed because some of them are backwards, you have to be looking at the light to make sure they are off. But other than those Items I would recommend this property for others and I will probably be staying there again in the future.

Owner response: First of all I apologize for not have enough towels to accommodate you & your guest because I usually have a towel per person which is 12 (6 in each bathroom). The night fish light that was the first time I heard of it not working (a new one is on order. The keys I looked on the outside surveillance camera and it didn't show a left key in the lock. I ask all my renters to let me know about anything that is needed. Sorry!
We had a great time. The home was wonderful. We were all quite comfortable.

Owner response: Thank you Sally for the review I am so glad that we were able to accommodate your family :-)
Amazing camp and great location, pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean and comfortable. The 25mph winds made it difficult to fish, but it didnt stop us from having a good time. A cold front moved in as well, so we took advantage of the fire pit. There was plenty enough room for my group of 15, just brought a couple of air mattresses. My review would have been 5/5 but had a problem getting the code for the keys to the lock box. Overall we had a great time and will be back in the future.
