BEAUTIFUL WATERFRONT HOME WITH BOATHOUSE AND HUGE PORCHES!

This beautiful home is located on a wide canal that's just minutes from the ship channel. The private 200 foot waterfront lot and large yard is all yours to enjoy! Your fishing guide can pick you up right from the back yard. The boat house has two stalls with boat lifts so you can pull right in after a day of fishing or crabbing, an outdoor pellet grill, a large area to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoors, and a newly built climate controlled storage room with easy access from the driveway and boathouse (it has french doors on the front and back). The home includes 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and lots of extra space for large groups to spread out, including a downstairs game room with a pool table and huge upstairs and downstairs porches. The beautiful kitchen has all stainless appliances including a Jenn Air stove, dishwasher and oven, a microwave and refrigerator. It also has granite countertops and a large walk in pantry and is open to the living and dining rooms. Included for your convenience are two full sized washers and dryers. There's a live well in the boat house for storing your fresh catch or bait. The large porches on the front and back are a great place to hang out and enjoy the soft coastal breezes. The master bath has double vanities, a double shower with a steam bath option, and a walk-in closet. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and a large TV. The hall bath has a claw foot tub and beautiful finishes. Downstairs you will find a game room with a pool table and a gas fireplace. There's another fireplace upstairs in the living room. The home has a total of 7 TV's to accommodate all your needs. An enclosed garage offers storage space for all your gear. There's a commercial ice machine and a freezer downstairs for fishing and hunting needs and a boiling pot and burner (propane provided) to cook that fresh catch. This unique home sits on a large 1 acre lot with 200 feet of water frontage, which offers lots of privacy. Regular mosquito treatment means you won't be chased in by mosquitos while enjoying your home! The driveway is large and can accommodate many cars and boats (great for large groups). This house is amazing! Booked this house specifically for the boat slips and canal access, but there is so much more to this than a fish camp. There are so many well thought out "extras" that helped make our stay worth so much more. Boat slips, ice machine, game room, 2 refrigerators, crawfish boil equipment, fish frying equipment, pellet grill, many TV's all hooked up to DirecTV. Many appliances in the kitchen that are not normally found in VRBO rentals, crock pot, blender, rice cooker, electric griddle. The bedrooms are set up for multiple families with children, or a guys fishing trip, like we had. There were plenty of bathrooms. The feature I think we liked the best was the open patio area by the boat house. We spent the majority of our time right there. The host was very thorough in the welcome email packet. Any questions I had were answered by reading that paper. She checked in on us the first night to make sure every thing was working ok, and again mid trip. We will be back.

Could not have been better for the 5 couples that were there. Plenty of space indoors and out. All the cooking utensils and grills that we needed. We are seriously considering getting the house for next years big chill. Most times we have 13 at least. Thanks for the easy response to my questions and the efficient way my stay was handled.

Why they chose this property

I love that this house has the most amazing porches where there's almost always a breeze. It sits on such a large lot that provides lots of privacy and space for everyone in your group. The steam shower in the master bathroom is amazing whether it's cold out or not. It's fun to sit on the porch and watch the boats going by all day long.

Lots of privacy and extra space for large groups to spread out. Even with large groups it never feels crowded.
