A luxury, bed and breakfast accommodation perfectly suited for a small group such as business friends, family, or study groups. Rooms have been professionally decorated and designed by licensed designers and include decorative draperies with blackout linings or shades, coordinating bedspreads, and upholstery. Beds are Sealy posturepedic, or equivalent, and have feather mattresses and down comforters. Sheets and towels are 100% Egyptian cotton. Amenities are by Niven Morgan. A full, hearty breakfast is included in the price of the rooms.

The home is Spanish colonial in style and living room, sitting room, and dining room are available at all times. The grounds are expansive and there is a very inviting verandah on the east side of the house which is comfortable in the hottest of months. Many times guests will take breakfast on the verandah which includes a small fish pond. There are huge historic live oaks on the property which has been in the hands of the same family since Fredericksburg was founded.

Arrangements can be made with the hosts for catering for special occasions such as wedding rehearsal dinners, intimate weddings, birthday and anniversary celebrations, etc.

  • Last July our daughter married in Fredericksburg.For the year prior to the wedding the Keidal House became our "home away from home" It is absolutely beautiful, a wonderful location, and the food is delicious. The Soto's make you feel at home and tend to your every need. It is a perfect place for family gatherings and a wonderful place for small weddings.

  • We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Keidel Inn! The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are heaven to sleep in. The food and hosts are fabulous! We walked to restaurants and shops and plan to go back several times a year. We went there for a personal, quiet, intimate weekend get-away, but I hope to bring some business meetings, family re-unions, and destination weddings there too. Everyone should experience this casual, but elegant Inn in charming Fredericksburg, Texas.
