The Charmac House is a fully appointed vacation home on the banks of the beautiful Horseshoe Lake, just 30 miles from Memphis, Tennessee, in Eastern Arkansas. Horseshoe Lake is a large, spring-fed oxbow lake that once was a part of the Mississippi River. Primarily a private lake, the far side of its banks are lined with cypress trees, lily pads and rich in wild life.
This house, built by wildlife enthusiasts in the 1950's, has been fully renovated to offer its guests all the amenities of a modern lake house while retaining the original style of its time. There are two bedrooms, a great room with a picture window overlooking the lake, a queen sofa bed and large fireplace, one and a half baths, and a new, tile kitchen. A lovely screened in porch allows for leisurely appreciation of the outdoors and a 200-foot long private pier makes swimming and boating easily accessible.
This property is walking distance from a lakeside diner that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, has a full bar, and live music on the weekends. A well-stocked grocery and liquor store, as well as bait shop, is five minutes away.
With Memphis, Tennessee just 40 minutes away, our guests can enjoy all the sight-seeing and attractions that the Bluff City has to offer and retire to the serenity of this beautiful setting at the end of the day.
While this property is pet friendly, it is necessary to receive permission prior to bringing your pet,as there are certain restrictions, requirements and additional fees involved.
A deposit is required to reserve your dates and the balance is due upon arrival. Our cancellation policy requires a two week notice for a refund of your deposit.
