'La Colline' Panoramic 2 bed Apartment. Large Terrace, Sea Views, Pool/Parking
The apartment is the perfect layout for a family of four and in a perfect location. Quick walk to the beach, shopping and dining. Easy access to public transport. And you cannot beat the view!!! We would love to stay here again when we return to Villefranche.
5 stars all the way. Location is fantastic, accommodations are great with stunning views as shown and as described. Hosts are wonderful people to work with. Thank you! We hope to return!
One of the newest and most modern units we have ever rented. Everything worked great. Check-in was easy once we figured out everything had to go through their portal. Location is well above the town, so it is not walkable. Short taxi or Uber drive to town. Villefranche is the best small town in the south of France. Easy trains to everywhere.
We spent most of our time on the terrace and by or in the pool and it was wonderful. The apartment was very nice and well equipt. Beds were comfortable and baths were very functional. Location is good. A short and easy walk into old town. Coming back 'home' wasn't bad either. The view over the La Darse Marina was very nice. Take note there are 3 villas in this building and all share the 'private' pool. I don't think the top floor is rentable. We were on the lower floor which was fine. We did get to see the view from the middle floor and it was even better. The appt was not yet clean when we arrived but the manager allowed us to stor our bags and change and we went to the terrace and pool to stay out of the way of the cleaners. All worked well. She also allowed us to stare our bags on departure day and pick them up once our other villa allowed us to check in. Thank you!
My husband and I and two friends stayed in this lovely apartment for four nights. It had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the sitting area with its beautiful view of this beautiful Mediterranean bay. Great restaurants nearby, too!
We had a lovely stay in this apartment. Cecile was very easy to communicate with and the apartment was just as advertised. It has a little balcony that overlooks the main shopping street in old town. A perfect place to have your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the afternoon. It suited us perfectly for our vacation. It is located in the heart of old town, and very close to the water.
Two small things to be aware of for future travelers: (neither a dealbreaker for us). For less agile travelers, the apartment building does not have an elevator so you must climb a flight of stairs to reach the apartment. And the apartment is above a bar/ restaurant. The apartment has amazing windows that block out any noise from the establishment below, so it’s not an issue. But you won’t be leaving your windows open at night, because of the noise and smell. It is a small inconvenience, particularly considering the apartment has an AC unit that works so well.
