A Clean and Cozy Cottage located in a very nice, Country Lake Community. Our Guests are amazed at the charm this rental property offers and have told us that they expected much less due to our LOW price,They have even told us we are not charging enough, but with the economy being what it is,we want our guests to be able to afford a vacation for them and their family and we want them to return year after year.
The 4 Seasons are beautiful here, a lovely place to take a walk or watch the Golden sunset over the lake. The Water park is fantastic, as well as the Lake. This area has so much to offer in a days drving..To really go back in time and reflect there is an Amish community is about 45 minutes away.
We are on the main Lake and our Community boat ramp is accessible during the lowering of the lake. They are claiming that Fishing is predicated to be a lot better during this stage and expect some record fish to be caught. Even with Lake lower there is still 37,000 Sq Acres of water for your enjoyment and even more beautiful shore lines.
Bring your boat or jet ski as we are less than a half-mile from our launching ramp and about one and-a-half miles by water to the closest marina. Boat or jet ski to one of the Marina's that are nearby for lunch or dinner, or just Laze out at doing nothing and resting afterward!

A Queen-sized Bed in the bedroom and a Queen-sized sofa sleeper is in the Living room area. Fully equipped for all your needs.Children are always welcome, Inquire about your pet.

We moved here from Illinois, My husband grew up in Illinois and I grew up in West Virginia.We enjoy People and entertaining. Have a wonderful church that we attend and have made Kentucky our home.
Why the Owner Chose Nancy
We moved here bought a home in this community and in 1999 we built a new house and the cottage. We loved the climate, the people of Kentucky , the 4 seasons that Kentucky offers and the fact that we wanted to retire on the water and after visiting other areas we fell in Love with Lake Cumberland..and there are no mosquitos!!
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage/Cabin
It is a people friendly Lake community, we have a boat launching ramp right here in the community, you do not have to get in your car and drive miles to launch or just enjoy the water.
If you just want Peace and to Relax, you may do so, if not there is plenty to do in a day.
We are Close to marinas.
Birds, Flowers, Banana Trees, sometimes deer too.
We are in the Heart of Civil War History, with the Civil War Museum in Nancy, as well as a branch of the Library, HANEYS APPLEDALE FARM (they have Wonderful Fried Apple Pies) you can pick your own apples, BEARWALLOW FARM is open in the fall months. SOMERSPLASH Water Park is is in Somerset. SOMERNITE CRUISE occurs April thru October and have Antique Cars Galore! It is a wonderful and well known Car Show. Lots of Festivals in adjoining counties, Amish Country is nearby also. Antique shopping.
