  We rented the house for a wedding and had 20+ people who were all extremely comfortable. Beautiful house, highly recommended.

  24 of us traveled to Savannah, GA this past January for a Bachelorette Party and stayed at the Liberty Street Estate. I've gotta tell you, this place is amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We filled the entire property and having a place where everyone could stay COMFORTABLY was a dream come true. This place has all the amenities of a hotel-stay but with the added value of the ability for everyone to be together. The common areas (kitchen, dining room) are spacious and had enough seating to hold our large group. Eating in was a breeze because the updated kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need (pots/pans, silverware, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, serving platters, etc.)! Each beautiful bedroom had its own bathroom (also beautiful) and each was stocked with various towels, and shampoo/soap. Overall, the entire property was extremely clean and useful for all of us. Also, the location was perfect for us... we were close enough to walk everywhere we needed to go. Robbie and Helen were extremely helpful in getting us setup in the property and even called to make sure we got into the house and again to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Savannah, GA!

  Our daughter got married in Savannah to a fantastic local young man and we were able to have our entire family together at 109 West Liberty for the whole affair. The house and carriage house were perfect and also perfectly located for all of our events. The well stocked kitchen especially came in handy for keeping everyone fed and entertained. This is a truly first class experience in Savannah for any large group and we are already looking forward to returning for our next family reunion.

  We rented this entire property-main house, garage apartment and carriage house- for my oldest son't wedding in Savannah. The idea was to have one place for family to be together. It was perfect for us! My aunt and her husband could have a place to themselves, as could my sister and her family. We could all gather for pancakes on Sunday..and to discuss the nuptial, of course! The entire property was clean, spacious, well appointed and comfortable. And the location is so convenient to historic Savannah, restaurants, and shopping. It really was the perfect place for a large gathering!

  My family of 26-take or give a few-found this property to be the deal breaker when it came to being together in Savannah for my oldest's son's wedding. The location was fabulous...a great new restaurant, Local, had just opened up down the street, and a lot of us gathered on our first night together.... 2 blocks away? So perfect!! 109 is comfortable, clean, well appointed, and jsut oh, so lovely!! Really, really recommend!

  We gathered at 109 West Liberty for a wedding, reception, and lodging. It was perfect in every way. We rented the entire property which is exquisite. It was the perfect venue for a wedding and reception for 70 guests. The location was extremely convenient in that all you had to do was walk out the front door to go to restaurants, bars, museum houses, churches, or just enjoy an entertaining sashay around historic Savannah. We actually walked to the rehearsal dinner and bride's brunch. Some of our guests stayed at the Hilton which is very close by. The owners of the lovely old home are helpful and very easy to contact. Although we inhabited every nook of this property, we did not have one problem with any of the appliances, etc. It was a storybook wedding with photos being made on the beautiful iron balcony and the interior of this "old Savannah" home. It was perfect!

  It was a perfect location and our only disappointment was that our time there was too short. I will personally recommend this place to anyone I know is going to be visiting Savannah, and I hope to also return one day soon.

  I traveled to the 109 West on Liberty property in May for a mini-reunion with 7 other alumnae women from around the country. We found the house exactly as described and pictured on the VRBO website, spic and span, beautifully maintained and decorated.as if it would be featured in a shelter magazine. We stayed in the main house, a luxurious 1871 estate within easy walking distance of Savannah's many historic sites, restaurants, and shops. Robbie Bell was there to greet us and to ascertain that the house, which had hosted a wedding party a day earlier, was in the proper shape.to receive us. Robbie and his mother, Helen Ritchey, had been responsive to our long-distance enquiries about local restaurants, parking amenities, and weather prior to our arrival.(You can imagine how many questions 8 women might have!) When we arrived, he showed us around, pointing out the elevator and laundry room, carrying our luggage to our rooms, and providing more dining suggestions.One-o-nine West Liberty was THE perfect place to enjoy our little reunion and explore the wonders of Savannah. I fully intend to return to the Bell-Ritchey complex with my husband and rent one of the smaller units at that address in the near future. I should add here that our family has rented through VRBO for several years in both US and foreign locations; we have never been disappointed.

  Our organization has rented the property at 109 West for the past four years for an annual training conference in Savannah. The location could not be more ideal in terms of proximity to the Civic Center. While other conference members were coordinating shuttles or trying to drive, we were able to walk across the street in order to attend conference classes and entertainment events. Besides being in an ideal location for business, the house itself is beautiful and Robbie and Helen are always accessible for any questions that may arise. The décor is gorgeous, and the rooms very comfortable. The house is also within walking distance to spectacular restaurants, the waterfront, and all that Savannah has to offer. We highly recommend Savannah Villas for business or for pleasure. They continue to exceed our expectations year after year.

  We rented the 109 West House along with the Garden Apartment for a family reunion (22 people, 9 of which were children with the average age of 5). The property exceeded our expectations in every way. The main living area was large enough for everyone to gather comfortable as a group as well as to allow us to break apart into several small intimate groups for conversation. We used the kitchen daily and found it to be exceptionally well equipt for even the most discerning cook. Helen and Robbie were always available for any questions and concern right from our very first inquiry about the property down to the last days of our stay. All the glowing reviews I have read regarding 109 West House accurately reflect the beauty and functionality of this property. If you choose to rent with Helen and Robbie you will not be disappointed.
