"Loved our 9 day stay at Peachy house in Sept. 2014. Everything we needed was there except our food. The weather was great, not 1 day of rain, and the sunrises on the deck and then morning coffee was a real treat after our rainy summer at home. The accomodations are comfortable and so much better than a hotel room. Hope to make a return visit to see the finished gardens."

  • A Sweetheart of a Place

"Far Far Away Guesthouse is comfortable, cozy and uniquely styled- we enjoyed the decor and artwork. Jay was sweet to leave us a card and bottle of wine as I mentioned it was our anniversary. He was easy to communicate with, very laid back, and overall the perfect host. The cottage is well stocked with extras and some basic food supplies- coffee, sugar, etc, so there is very little one would need to run to the store to get. Close to Mahone Bay (Mug & Anchor restaurant, Jennifer's Bakery are MUSTS) and Chester Basin, (The Galley was wonderful/romantic). The Chester Connector trail goes over the Gold River and along the old train route- we found the area breathtaking. The beauty of this spot is it's out-of-the-way location, while being close to everything one comes to Nova Scotia to see. Caveats: The bathroom is quite cramped, but we managed. The water pump was so loud I didn't wish to flush the toilet or take an early morning shower because I didn't wish to awaken my partner. But I wouldn't hestitate to come back to visit again- I'd just bring earplugs for my honey. It fit with our style of traveling- a base camp for our explorations. It's less than an hour from Ross Farm Museum up Route 12, Martock (OnTree Park) up route 14 and Halifax, up highway 103."

  • Cosy and a Great Location

"Took the family there after Christmas for 5 days. Everything works just like it said, arranging everything with the owners was easy and we had no problems at all. The condo is well laid out, had a nice view from the balcony, was cosy and warm and was home away from home so was perfect for the four of us. Also it was only 35 -40 minutes drive up to Panorama and very handy for the hot springs. Would not hesitate to book it again this summer so I'd recommend it to anyone!!"

  • Perfect PEI Escape

"We have been to PEI many times. Absolutely loved the comfort and warmth of the cottage. It was well equipped and prepared. Easy to get to other sightseeing destinations nearby. The beach access is beautiful. There is a fast running, deeper (depending on the tide) section to cross - well worth it, but be sure to bring water shoes!"
