  • Perfect everything!

"Here's the long & short of it: If you want to be within walking distance to morning coffee, the market, and dinner- the location is perfect! If you want a private beach club where you can easily snorkel, lay on the beach, without crowds- and have a bar & restaurant right there, this is the place! We had our 2 kids (19, & 14) & snorkeled at other beaches, but there's no need. If you are thinking of staying in Wikaloa, don't. It's busy, and crowded. Plus, every morning we enjoyed our morning coffee on ur balcony overlooking a beautiful golf course and listening to birds. The unit has more than is listed in the description, it's clean, and beautifully decorated. There are 4 nice bikes, paddle boards, boogie boards, chairs, a cooler, umbrella, and more - we never rented anything at the beach! Cindi, you have done a great job. We will hopefully return again. • Well equipped and conveniently located.

"We enjoyed our stay in the Palm Villas. The owners are well organized which made it easy to get settled and find our way around the island. The condo is well equipped so cooking at home was easy but their restaurant suggestions were helpful. The condo is well maintained but we did have a hot water problem so had cold showers the last 6 days of our stay."

  • Amazing Unit - Just Like Home!

"Palm Villas bring us back to Kona year after year. Like last year's post, I research a lot. I'm picky, very picky, and Palm Villas is perfect for our family with three teens. Why Mauna Lani properties? Simple - the Mauna Lani Beach Club access to the private beach with covered cabanas, crystal clear water, an amazing on-site restaurant, stand-up paddle board and canoe rentals and an uncrowded sandy beach where you can take a 7am dip with no one around but a honu and some fish, or watch an evening sunset while floating on your back in warm ocean waters in a cove out of the wind. Why Palm Villas condos versus Golf Villas or any of the other complexes at the Mauna Lani property? - Palm is across the street from the spa. - Palm has 8 buildings to share the pool. Golf Villas has more and pool is more crowded. - Palm pool has never had more than 3 other people in it at any time we've gone. It is bath water warm with stairs in for little kids, 3' depth and 4' depth. Perfect options for all. - Palm his closest to the path to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club and is a 15 minute walk through the lava and koi ponds on a paved walkway. - Palm is closest to the Mauna Lani shopping complex (grocery store, Tommy Bahama Grill, ...) and you can easily walk the two blocks home after a successful happy hour or for a morning coffee. - And a big reason we chose Palm for both visits was our unit's owners, who were great to work with. Pool: Open 8am - 9pm it is the perfect size, always empty, clean and has a very hot, hot tub and waterfall with a bench behind it to sit. Location: We love it up north. We drive south to Alii and Kona for the farmers markets and cooked almost every meal in the well stocked units. The outdoor BBQs are clean and perfect with an overhead fan keeping you cool as you sip drinks in the evening. This location has a full-sized washer/dryer and the upper lanai has gliding chairs, which I loved. Downstairs lanai is the bbq and outdoor table. Free wi-fi. A small shed filled with umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, snorkels, noodles and anything you'd need. Both units have extensive DVD collections, many games for the kids to play, bookcases with books and truly it is just like home."

  • Very Nice Condo

"This well appointed condo was perfect for two people. The condo has two bedrooms locked out but it is still quite large. The second story unit has nice views of the lava fields and the distant coast. An interesting walk through an adjacent park takes you to the private beach in about ten minutes. A five minute drive does the same. Other public beaches are nearby. The owner Sally is very pleasant and easy to work with. She refunded our damage deposit in just a few days. Our recommendation is a strong five star for the owners and the unit."

Palm Villas Travel Tips

Celebrate Local art and Culture While Staying in Palm Villas Condos

When you stay in Palm Villas condos, consider spending an afternoon browsing through the North Kohala Artists' Cooperative. The gallery highlights the work of local artisans as well as pieces by the late Kenji Yokoyama, who was known for his seashell art. After touring through the gallery near Palm Villas house rentals, savor the tropical setting of Pico's Bistro and Barbecue Grill as you sip a tangerine spritzer or fruit smoothie while waiting for your lamb kebabs or seafood pasta. Or perhaps, like other gallery visitors, you want to sample a made-to-order hamburger or nibble from the Greek sampler plate.

Sit Back and Relax in Palm Villas House Rentals

Take a deep breath, and let your worries slip away as you prepare a meal at your leisure in your fully-equipped kitchen and dine with loved ones in the comfortable setting of Palm Villas condos. Look out over the perfectly manicured greens of the Mauna Lani Golf Course, known for its superb views. You might even want to spend a day or more playing golf yourself. If you've never been golfing before or want to brush up on your game, you can book a golf lesson with one of the professionals.

Delight in the Offerings of the Kohala Coast

Walk around the area surrounding these Kohala Coast vacation rentals, and you will find myriad activities regardless of the weather. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling, or walk around and browse through the boutiques. Check out the gourmet food in the market, and take some back to the Palm Villas house rentals to create a culinary masterpiece. If your muscles feel tight after all your exploring, head on over to the Kohala Spa for some deep relaxation therapy. If you want, you can top off a perfect day with dinner at Dara's Thai Cuisine.
