"We rent homes all over the world a couple of times a year but not many of them blew us away like H-4 at Palm Villas. The pictures do not lie. The house is absolutely gorgeous, impeccably clean and extremely well maintained. It is warm, cozy and obviously loved by the owners. We were a family of six (one came all the way from the UK) and specifically rented this property because of the amenities (like a/c, w/d, 3 full bathrooms etc). The beds were very, very comfortable. You will want for nothing in this home. It includes a well stocked storage room with beach umbrellas, snorkel equipment, mats, coolers etc. We had a minor repair issue with the a/c but JT (the local concierge for the property) went above and beyond in getting it fixed within just a couple of hours. Can't thank her enough. We often walked to the nearby grocery store (Foodland), Tommy Bahama's and Kimo Bean Coffee. Very convenient. We felt the beach is a walkable distance but it depends on the outside temperatures. We found it was better to drive to on hot days because although walking through the lava fields was beautiful it was also very hot! From start to finish communication with the owners was excellent. They always responded quickly to any questions we had and our deposit was returned quickly. We cannot say enough about our experience. Thank you Arthur and Karen!!"

"What a beautiful, bright, spacious condo! There was plenty of sleeping room for 6 adults and one toddler, plus we managed to fit 9 of us on the lanai for our fun-filled dinners every evening. The view and quiet atmosphere from the lanai off the master bedroom was wonderful. We spent a great deal of time on the main floor lanai and enjoyed how peaceful it always was. We have been to three of Hawaii's islands a few times now and this is our favourite resort and condo. The Palm Villas is so nice and quiet and the pool is amazing - such beautiful surroundings, warm water and always very quiet.
The entire Mauna Lani resort is a welcoming oasis in the middle of the lava with marvelous walking paths and bike lanes. We looked forward to our walks through the fishponds and around the resort every day.
We would like to be able to keep this condo and the Palm Villas our own little secret, however, according to how quickly it books up, the secret is obviously out! For those of you thinking of visiting for the first time - you are in for a real treat!!"

"This condo was truly a special treat! It lacked for nothing. I absolutely loved the outdoor living space with the high quality grill, sitting area overlooking acres and acres of nature, and watching the sunset. Everything was flawless and seamless, from booking to checking in to checking out. The condo was super clean, well maintained, and it was obvious that the owners took a lot of pride in the quality of furnishings and decor. The property manager, JT, was quick to respond to emails and phone calls during our visit. One of my favorite things was sitting by the pool in the evenings after a long adventurous day. The pool was amazing and beautiful. The week we stayed, the condos seemed pretty booked, but things were quiet and peaceful. The location is great (close to the beach club and other beautiful famous beaches). We will be back!"

"To be honest, we picked this condo mainly because of the price - it was the best priced unit we could find that was on the second floor (no footsteps above!). It turned out to be a fabulous choice- more stylish than pictured, with cathedral ceilings, two large bedrooms and a bonus loft. Cooking on the built in Thermador grill outside was a treat (even though the lanai does trap the heat somewhat); the pool area is absolutely stunning, and the beach a 12 minute walk (we timed it), down a nice path. We veered slightly towards the hotel at the end of the path and found a nice secluded cove that we had to ourselves most days. Priceless. This unit also has a local management presence, which is great- they are available for help if needed (like when you can't find the iron....). If I was to be picky, the only negative I would note is that the master bed is getting worn and starting to warp abit, and the walls are getting scuffed up and could use a fresh coat of paint in places. Still a great choice- If I can make it back that way I would stay again. Actually, I now dream of moving there!"
