A family party of nine, ranging from 65 to 3 years.
The cottage is lovely, plenty of space for everyone a large kitchen table for all nine of us to sit round to eat. The kitchen could do with some new oven tins, the ones there were not nice at all, it would also benefit from some larger casserole type dishes.
A patio area in the garden would have been much better, all the chairs sank into the grass, making it difficult to get up. The back door step is lethal when wet, beware!
The swimming pool was lovely we really enjoyed it! A large doormat inside the cottage would have been helpful, nine people arriving wet from the pool, all trying to get in at once, made for a rather slippery tiled floor.
The fishing was a big hit with our fishermen, everyone caught, we had several Perch, Tench and Carp, the biggest being 17lb, the children loved it.
We had primed our grandchildren that there would be some animals to meet, there was a woodland walk and that they could play in the fields behind the cottage, however on arrival, we were told that there were no longer any animals, only a couple of old chickens. We attempted the woodland walk, but it was very overgrown with nettles and fallen trees, and gave it up as a bad job. Also the fields behind the cottage had not been cut, and was hard to walk through, let alone play, so this was all very disappointing, I think your website could do with a little updating!
We did have a lovely break, Sophia and Roy are lovely
