Oak View, Rural Home in Devon with Indoor Pool

Redhays Farm is set in 13 acres of beautiful countryside with rolling fields, woodland and quiet country lanes.

A serene escape featuring beautiful gardens and visiting wildlife, perfect for adults to unwind and children to play. Offering picturesque views, the room invites both relaxation and the opportunity to explore.

Its central location is ideal for nature enthusiasts and walkers alike, making it the perfect base for discovering Devon’s attractions and providing access to both coasts.

The space has its own private entrance and combines both traditional and contemporary styles.

The bedroom is on the first floor and has a king-sized bed, a dressing table, small sofa, wall mounted TV, hanging space and an en-suite private bathroom for guest use only.

Guests also benefit from exclusive access to a fully-fitted second kitchen area within our home. There is an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. An extra small freezer is available upon request. Downstairs there is an open plan room just for guests where there is a table and chairs set, a second TV, two comfortable arm chairs and a double pull -out sofa bed (only suitable for children to sleep on).

We have sought to equip our home to a very good standard and to anticipate your needs, by providing all the things you might want for a comfortable stay.

The garden has a trampoline along with two tree swings as well as extensive lawned and terraced areas for picnics and any outdoor games. Guests are welcome to enjoy our large garden and can pick apples from our orchard when in season.

Our indoor heated swimming pool is open every day 9am-1pm & 2pm-7pm for guests to use on a rota basis, with access for an hour, at least twice a day, times vary each day. There is a shower for you to use in the phone box. The pool has a depth of 1.4 M. Please bring your own towels for the pool. Swim nappies are needed for children who are not potty trained. The pool may be subject to closure from November to April.


The suite boasts superb views over the gardens and acres of beautiful Devon countryside, encouraging guests to dine alfresco at the patio space and head out to explore.

These are our standard times. Please contact us prior to your stay about alternative check in/check out times. We will try to accommodate them, if feasible.

Guests have access to the entire space which has its own private entrance. A key will be provided for use during your stay.

Two parking spaces on site will be available for use during your stay.

Guests also have access to shared gardens, various seating /dining areas, a trampoline, and use of an indoor heated swimming pool.

Pets (Dog Only):
One well-behaved dog is welcome, by prior arrangement direct with owners. Over a year-old (Max 25Kg). An additional fee of Twenty Five pounds per stay is payable. All dogs will need to be booked in, otherwise alternative arrangements would need to be made for the duration of your stay.

Practicalities:
•We provide tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt and pepper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, sponge, brush, dish cloth and a tea towel.
• Central heating with radiators.
• Entertainment: TV with access to Netflix, BBC iPlayer, ITVX, YouTube.
• WIFI is for light use only and the mobile phone signal is patchy.
• Hairdryer, iron, and ironing board available.
• The sofabed is only suitable for children to sleep on.
• Family-friendly: Travel cot (mattress provided) and highchair available on request.

Your Stay Includes
• Fuel and power (charges can be made for excessive use).
• Bed linen and towels for room use only. Beach/pool/dog towels are not provided; guests are to bring their own.
• Two toilet rolls are provided .
• Off-road parking for two cars

Note:
. This property is adjacent to the swimming pool (closes at 7pm).
• Natural water supply is from a borehole with a filtration system.
• Due to the unfenced lake on-site, children must be supervised at all times.
• Step to the exterior and steps to the terraces; please take care.
