Denna vackra stenhus ligger i triangeln i Bastide-städerna Monpazier, Beaumont-du-Perigord och Villeréal. Det är en del av en liten gård restaurering, som består av en stuga ombyggd från en stengård, den ursprungliga bondgården, där fastighetsägare (Jackie & Jim) bor och en konverterad tabac ladugård som nu används som Jims snickeriverkstad. Det finns en stor täckt terrass med inbyggd grill kopplad till baksidan av stugan med direkt tillgång till en privat 5M x 10M saltvatten infinity pool. På övervåningen av fastigheten finns tre sovrum, ett med badrum och en familj badrum med dusch över badet. Nedre våningen finns ett stort vardagsrum med centralvärme vedeldad brännare, fullt utrustat kök / matsal, duschkabin med separat toalett, tvättmaskin och handfat. Privat parkering, stor trädgård med panoramautsikt över 5 hektar av fastigheten.

Family holiday August 2024

We have just spent two wonderful weeks at Jacqueline and Jim’s beautiful gite with our family. Excellent accommodation and the view from the pool is amazing, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

First trip to Perigord

A charming house with a fantastic view, pool, and outdoor facilities. The owner are very friendly and provide everything for a fabulous week.We will definitely come back.Just a point to add a Tv would be appreciated especially for sport in TV in July in France but that did not spoil at all and we did used their DVD player

Stunning views

Amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. The place was clean, nicely decorated and with all necessary amenities and more. There were dvd’s and games to play on the couple of rainy days we had but the infinity pool was a real treat on sunny days. The pictures do not do justice to the outstanding valley view from the pool area. The place was very quiet and the only sounds disturbing the peace where those of the wind in the trees, the cows and a rooster. Delightful ! We had lunch outdoors every day since there is a shaded covered area outside the kitchen facing the pool. A 13 minutes drive got us to pretty bastides full of charm where small supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants could be found. The hosts were a lovely couple that made us feel welcome. They even treated us with fresh eggs from their chicken. We would go back there in a heartbeat. A very relaxing holiday. Thank you so very much! Isabelle

Magnifique séjour chez Jacqueline & Jim !

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine chez Jacqueline & Jim. Le gîte est exceptionnel. Il est encore mieux que sur les photos (qui étaient déjà au top). Il dispose de tout ce dont vous avez besoin, même plus. La piscine, la vue, le calme ainsi que la gentillesse de nos hôtes ont fait de notre 1ère semaine de vacances une semaine reposante et ressourçante !

Idyllique

Un séjour parfait, dans un lieu extrêmement calme avec une vue à couper le souffle et une piscine superbe. La maison est très bien équipée et on s'y sent comme chez soi. Le chant du coq et les vaches au loin coupent définitivement de la vie citadine. Jim et Jackie sont adorables, discrets et font vraiment tout pour que le séjour soit parfait. Le grand jardin est un plus pour les enfants qui ont délaissé les consoles de jeu pour les raquettes de badminton, la pétanque ou le vol plané d'avion ! ;) Et enfin, c'est très bien situé. Bref, luxe, calme et volupté ;) - We'll be back !

Beautiful peaceful location

This lovely gite is in a beautiful, very quiet location and has been lovingly converted with great attention to detail. Jackie is a wonderful host - readily available but also discreet and respectful of her guests privacy. The pool was our favourite place to be and the children absolutely loved it! The area itself is rural and very sleepy, but it’s easy to get to shops and restaurants in Villereal in less than 15 minutes by car. Thank you Jackie for providing such a beautiful place to relax and recharge.

This is a lovely property with everything you could want. The property is maintained to a very high standard with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax and dine. The hosts are very helpful but discreet which is perfect.

Quiet location, historic towns within easy reach, fantastic private pool

This property has been sympathetically renovated in keeping with the local French style to provide ample accommodation for 6 adults. It is immaculate and thoughtfully equipped for a perfect self catering holiday. The saltwater pool was the highlight especially in the heat of August and definitely a must. We were able to visit several local historic towns and markets, all within 10-40minutes drive. We felt we had a bit of French countryside to ourselves as our hosts were completely respectful of privacy, yet available to answer any queries. Thank you for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We can recommend wholeheartedly !

Wonderful gite in a fabulous location!

This gite was perfect for us. A lovely place to stay with everything you need, welcoming and helpful hosts (with a dog whom my husband and son loved) and a really tranquil location. Perfect to get away from it all, but close enough with a short a drive to local villages. Just wonderful!

Perfect! Fantastic!

We have been able to spend a week in this fantastic house. Immediately upon arrival we felt at home here. This is due to the friendly welcome by the owners, Jacqueline and Jim and their lovely dog Ged. The house has a perfect location. Nice view, very quiet. But also close to beautiful villages. The house is fully equipped. And the pool and covered terrace are great. A week was much to short for us. We will definitely go back again.

excellent weekend à tourliac

nous avons passé deux très belles nuits dans cette charmante maison, refaite avec beaucoup de goût. Le cadre est idyllique et les aménagements réalisés sont superbes. La piscine est juste devant le gîte avec une vue dégagée sur la campagne environnante. La terrasse avec barbecue permet de profiter des belles soirées. En outre les propriétaires Jacqueline et Jim sont très acceuillants. Le gîte est impeccable et rien ne manque. Nous sommes conquis et espérons pouvoir revenir un jour.

Un excellent sejour en famille

Très beau gîte ! Nous avons été accueillis les bras ouverts par Jackie et Jim qui sont des hôtes remarquables, tres simples avec beaucoup de sympathie. Le gîte etait d'un état irréprochable. A perfect place to stay

What an amazing place Jackie and Jim have created! We had a fantastic week in Tourliac, visiting a lots of bastide towns and beautiful villages all only 20 minutes or less from the house. We had to drag our kids out of the pool. It managed to be big enough for 5 of us to play with lots of inflatables, whilst always being warm, especially on the cooler days! The house has everything you could need, comfy beds, great showers and a well stocked kitchen. The kitchen table was a good size but we ate outside for all meals under the useful veranda. Sitting out at night we were warm and when the sun was out the seating area remained cool. Thank you Jackie and Jim, you were perfect hosts, around when we wanted you (especially when you brought in our washing when it began to rain) but out of sight when we didn't need you. We would love to come and stay again, thanks was a fantastic holiday.

Wonderful holiday

This was our third visit to this area of France and we consider ourselves very lucky to have found Las Places. Jackie and Jim were lovely hosts, warm and welcoming, very helpful when we needed them but otherwise unobtrusive. The house has been lovingly and beautifully renovated, and was very well equipped even down to filters for the coffee machine, but the south-facing covered terrace with its glorious views and the fantastic saltwater pool were where we spent most of our time from breakfast until late in the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay, thank you for having us!

A truly lovely villa and pool

We had that most relaxing week at this villa. The pool and property are immaculate and Jackie & Jim work so hard to make it the perfect holiday destination. The location is quiet with beautiful views but access to 3 wonderful historic towns are 10 mins away. Jackie & Jim live next door which we loved as they were always around if we had a question or a drama! The pool is divine!!! Our daughters didn’t leave it and the house fully equipped with everything you need and more. We also fell in love with Franc their doggy who like to hang out with us too. A holiday to remember.. thank you! Xx

Wow Amazing

Four of us stayed at las Places 30th June to 13th July 2019, the bite ais fantastic Jim and Jacqueline have done a fantastic job restoring the buildings. The gite is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. The infinity pool is fantastic very welcome during the hot days. The gite i well located for exploring the beautiful nastier towns and the Dordogne beyond I cannot fault it, Jim and Jaqueline were great hosts. I would recommend it and will be returning.
