Completamente renovado y renovado a un estándar muy alto, Scandi Santuary tiene todo lo necesario para que su estadía en York sea placentera, ya sea que su estadía sea por trabajo o por placer.

Great location but noisy

The apartment was a very convenient location, within easy walking distance from central York. The kitchen was well equipped for our 3 night stay. Detailed instructions left to ease our entry & exit. Unfortunately the shower & sink were rather grubby so this was off putting. The mattress on the bed was so soft that I woke up each night with aching hips. The worst thing was the boiler located in a cupboard in the bedroom that came off & on during the night with light & sound that gave a disturbed nights sleep. Noise from outside between 2-4pm (screaming & shouting) each night was also unfortunate. I wouldn’t want to stay again. Sorry but my honest review.

York is a charming town. Property is right near center of York in big gorgeous building. Nicely appointed. Perfect location.

Riverside in Feb

A great stay in a lovely part of York. We did struggle with the shower though. The temperature would vary lots in the space of a few minutes without us touching the temperature knob. Perhaps the thermostat needs looking at? Also, the clock wasn’t working when we got there, we bought a new battery and it was fine after that.

A positive experience.

A good location for visiting all the old city within the walls and the museums and attractions. The apartment itself was comfortable and well presented. Access was easy and the stairs leading to the apartment were light and airy. As the weather was hot we needed the electric fan and also the windows open. Consequently, there was some noise from the nearby street. We could have done with some more drinking glasses. There was also a problem with the television reception and not all freeview channels were available.

Can not recommend.

Most important...the flat was dirty (rug-dirt and hair; sofa-long hair of diff. colors; shower-mold; dishes-lipstick, generally rinsed and put away as clean). On arrival the codes didn't work, and they knew it that morning but never bothered to advise. Couldn't reach...gone home. Emergency building manager helped us enter key lockbox. Important... when you have three flights of stairs and no lift, SAY SO!! Omitting that fact may help sales (like us), but it is deceptive. And, after all this, we never heard from anyone. We are long time users of vrbo. Generally always satisfied and give very good reviews. We hope this is not an example of vrbo's directory with growing popularity.

The apartment is in an ideal location for walking to local sights and fabulous bar and restaurants. Very comfortable and clean accommodation, felt like a home from home. Would recommend as a place to stay in York

Quaint York Stay

We would rate our experience at this Air bnb as a positive one. The location was perfect as it was on a lovely street which featured lots of bars, restaurants, shops, and even a bakery which we where regulars at for some freshly baked sausage rolls. The location isn’t too central though so we weren’t disturbed by noise at night. The apartment itself had all the facilities we required for our short city break. The place itself was clean and modern, however, one of the only draw backs for me was the size of the shower as I’m a 6ft 4 broad man. There was also only one roll of toilet paper. The apartment is also near brew York and spark which we would recommend to anyone visiting York who loves food and drinks. Overall experience 9/10!

Very good!

Apartment was clean on arrival. There was some noise from the street as the apartment is located in the city centre but not enough to keep us awake/ wake us up! Fab stay 10/10 would come again

Two month stay

The location is great, it does get slightly noisy on an evening though due to the pub/bus stop/spark over the road. The apartment did have all amenities however I used my own kitchenware due to the items not being perfectly clean on arrival. Lovely garden which can be used whenever. No storage space which is fine if you’re staying short term however I had to keep all my clothes in a suitcase as there’s only room to hang no more than 6 pieces of clothing.
