Easy, very detailed parking instructions. Very clean. Great communication from hosts. Quiet location. A minutes walk to York wall entrance. A highly recommended place to stay! Would definitely stay there again on our next visit.

For those who have difficulty climbing stairs, be mindful that this lovely apartment is one floor above the ground floor.If you follow the directions provided by the owner to the car park and the apartment entry location, renters will have no problem finding this apartment.The apartment is in a very good location to view everything York has to offer and it is very short walk to the walls surrounding the old part of York.The kitchen is very well equipped and you lack for anything.

Absolutely Perfect

This apartment is beautiful and has everything you could need plus a few extra nice touches. Location was perfect with a very short walk into the city. Communication was brilliant and we will definitely return soon.

10 Cloisters is perfection in location, wonderful for space, A+ for amenities, excellent for parking, and the hosts were really helpful and extra pleasant in all communications. It was…well…perfect !!

Modern apartment, great location

We enjoyed staying at this apartment. The owners were very helpful and responsive, the apartment was immaculate and had everything needed. A very short walk to the walls, town centre, Yorkminster, restaurants, pubs, museums and shops. Nice to have a guaranteed spot to park. Highly recommended..

Great Location

Private parking, easy access, Sainsbury next door, and Monkbar Gate & York Minster a short walk away: this apartment is in the ideal location. The apartment was well appointed with a comfortable bed, a nice kitchen and lounge space, and good WiFi. Only complaints were low pressure in the shower and clothes dryer no longer works. We loved our stay and highly recommend this rental.

Thank you for reviewing our apartment and so glad you had a good stay in York! We are sorry you experienced low pressure in the shower, it’s a new electric shower and we chose one that was as powerful as possible. We haven’t received any other complaints but will take a look at it. Regarding the dryer, we only advertise the washing machine facility, we have had to block off the use of the dryer as unfortunately several previous guests have taken advantage of this facility and left the dryer running for hours, clocking up massive electricity bills for us. Our nightly rate has remained the same for over 4 years, so with the cost-of-living crisis we have had to take this action. We have put extra clothes dryers in our apartments and have suggested in the instructions that clothes are spun twice to get out the excess water. Perfect Apartment Rental in York

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in York. The location is perfect to walk to all of the sights, shops and pubs in the old town of York. The photos don't do this apartment justice, it is immaculate, comfortable and well stocked. It is really nice to have free/safe parking just outside your door and access to a washing machine in the apartment. The owners were easy to work with and very kind to let us check in early on our day of arrival. We would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely flat, a short walk from Yorkminster

Melanie & David offer a very comfortable, contemporary flat, one block from groceries and 2 blocks from the gate into old town and Yorkminster. They were very gracious hosts, accommodating essentially everything we requested (and offering more). They provide a substantial array of tourist documentation with a highly useful map in one of them. We have come to value Rick Steves’ travel books, and found his advice on things to do in York invaluable. We highly recommend Melanie & David’s flat ... thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

York, apartment very centrally located

Had a lovely time at this apartment, located just a few minutes walking distance from York Minster. The apartment exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Plenty of coffee and tea . Melanie very prompt in replying to any messages. It was also great having a dedicated, secure parking spot, not that we used our car during our in York. Thank you very much for sharing this apartment.

We really liked this apartment. The hosts allowed us to check in a bit early to avoid wandering around York in a heatwave, which was so kind - and all our communications were quick, efficient and warm and welcoming. The area was so peaceful and quiet, but close to everything you'd want to see in York within a short walk. The apartment was roomy, tidy and incredibly well stocked (except for a somewhat odd rule of only providing two rolls of toilet paper, which meant we had to go out at some point and buy our own). We would definitely recommend this as a great location with wonderful amenities and responsive hosts.

We do our very best to stock up the flat with teas, coffee, coffee pods milk, sugar, dishwasher tablets, washing tablets, kitchen roll, salt and pepper and oils - enough hopefully to start of a short holiday break. Lovely apartment in a prime location

The apartment is beautifully presented, clean and very well-equipped. It is only a short stroll to the heart of the City with its numerous attractions. The car can be safely abandoned in the dedicated space which is a great benefit, York is a fascinating and vibrant city with a rich history and where better to explore this than Cloisters Walk? This was our second visit and certainly won’t be our last.

Fantastic little apartment and a great location

Absolutely perfect

The apartment was perfect had everything we could have needed and more. Great location with a supermarket at the doorstep and town less than 5 mins walk away. Private parking included so was able to leave the car parked all weekend without having to move it. Had a very warm welcome with a lovely cake and kettled boiled. Would highly recommend this apartment we will definitely be returning!!
