The cabin was perfect for our family! We enjoyed the deck, hot tub, grill. The front porch was wonderful for the rainy day. We made full use of the fire pit and had a great time playing with the kids in the front yard. It’s unusual to have a cabin so high up with such a nice flat grassy area. We were there for a conference at the Laconte center, and were pleased with the proximity of the cabin to the location we needed to be at for several days. there will be some ongoing construction for the next few months as there are two cabins nearby being constructed, but since we were there Saturday and Sunday morning as well, those were nice quiet mornings.
Private cabin, very clean, and very homey! It’s really a beautiful spot! Perfect size for 2 couples with kids. Took off 1 star because I wasn’t a fan of the beds. Queen bed was hard per our guests and king bed super soft but the fitted sheet kept coming off at night! Needs deep pocket sheets. The setup downstairs is absolutely adorable!
The cabin was great. Lots of beds and games and movies. The fireplace ran out of gas the first day . The hot tub filter was coming apart and not filtering the water. The hot tub needed chlorine tablets . The water leaves a bitter taste in your mouth .
Overall a nice place to stay, good view and clean. The master bedroom mattress was terrible I place pillow between mattress and box springs to get a little bit more comfort
The scenery especially in the back patio was beautiful. Driving up on the driveway was very scary. The pavement of the driveway needs to be redone. My car got stuck a few times. I noticed other cabins’ driveway was smooth and wider. There are cameras in the front and back patio. I didn’t like the cameras there because of the lack of privacy. How were we going to enjoy the whirlpool in the back patio when we are being recorded? Enjoying just the front patio was uncomfortable cause of the cameras. It’s not for security cause of where it’s pointing. I feel it was more to watch the people who are staying there. The plumbing was very loud. When any of the sinks, showers, and toilets was used, it was heard throughout the house. The shower for the master bedroom was very small. If you’re a heavy person, good luck with that. You can use the other shower or the tub in the lower level. To get to the lower level, there’s a spiral staircase or go outside and use the side door that leads to the lower level. If you’re a heavy person, the staircase will be too tight and if your kids are in the lower level, it will be hard to check on them. Who wants to go to the side door in the dark to check on the kids? The cabin had dishwashing liquid, yet no sponge. There was no laundry detergent, yet the cabin had a washer and dryer. I found it ridiculous not supplying these things, I paid a lot for this cabin. The counter stools were too high. Be aware for your pet, wood missing in the back patio.
Enjoyed our stay, only complaint is there was no gas in the grill

Subpar Cabin
If you’re looking for a cabin, we would recommend not staying at this property.
When you get there, the driveway is at a very odd angle and it’s straight up on a hill. It’s best to go down the road and turn around so you have a better shot at getting up. If you have a low profile vehicle, you will not make it.
The outside fire/sitting area was grown up with grass. Inside, there was dead bees and the air was at 75 degrees because for whatever reason they make you turn it way up when you leave. The WiFi wouldn’t work half of the time and wouldn’t let you connect to it. The beds were very uncomfortable and needed to be replaced.
The only real pros were the hot tub which is about standard now for any cabins up there and the view was solid.
Perfect cabin for a quick stay with our daughter and her friend. Beautiful views. It does have a very steep incline up to the cabin but we made it with no problem! So many movies and games at the property! We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice location but uncomfortable
The location of this property is awesome! Sitting on top of a hill with a nice view to the east. Getting to the top of the hill is a bit of a challenge. There is a 16degree slope (verified with the inclinometer in my truck.) I put the truck in 4wd low and crept up and down the driveway. We didn’t venture out after dark for fear we would drive off the side of the mountain. The driveway has two very sharp 90 degree turns one RH and 1 LH. Do not attempt to stay here unless you have a 4wd with good ground clearance. I mentioned this to the property manager and was told “ yeah, just gas it and go”. The house itself could use some updating, there is not much natural light in the main areas and the lighting is really lacking. The king size bed would have been nice but it really needs new mattresses and box springs. It was more like sleeping in a hammock than a bed. The downstairs area has a nice set up with movies, foozeball table and paceman arcade style video game. They also have horseshoe pits and corn hole boards (we tried the cornhole game but the bags had holes in them and the corn in the bags was falling out so we put that away. We have stayed in many AirBB and I must say this was on the lower end of the scale compared to others we have stayed in.
My husband and I go to Tennessee 3 to 6 times a year. We took our friends This time and it was their very first time in TN. This has been our favorite cabin ever! There's so much to do, close to town, and very very comfy! The furniture was so comfortable. We had a blast! We even were lucky enough to see the baby black bear 2 days straight. The fire pit was wonderful. There was plenty of towels, was clothes, toilet tissue, and soap. The kitchen had so much stuff to use and it was an overall amazing time. Thank you for having us we plan on coming back next year to this exact cabin. It was literally home away from home.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at the cabin. The location was excellent. The cabin had everything we were looking for. It was clean well decorated with plenty of activities for us to do. We could easily have stayed there and not left to go into town and we decided to bring more food to cook. We cannot wait to go back.
We loved our stay! We found ourselves wanting to bail on sightseeing plans just to spend more time enjoying the cabin. Great fire pit, hot tub overlooking the mountains, and tons of games and movies for the rainy days. Would love to come back if we return to the area.
Extremely hard to get to unless u have 4 wheel drive. No recliner, shallow uncomfortable sofas, doesnt say anything about a basement being present in the listing and the spiral staircase to access ot is so small i coulnt go down it. I had to go around back of house from outside to spend time with my family. Cameras pointed everywhere outside we felt our privacy was violated by this. Checkin was at 4pm would not even give us the address to the property until 3:45 and that was because i called and talked to several people and had to get harsh with them. Will not stay at this cabin again.

We had a nice time
The cabin was ok. The drive was difficult to get up. Did not have enough to it paper. Widows on cabin were dirty.
Loved everything about it, so much stuff at the cabin to do, games, movies, hot tub, fire pit. We had a great time. I love that it was secluded and had a great yard for yard games that was provided at the cabin. I was only sad about not having coffee in the morning, there was a coffee maker but when I went to put water into it I saw how dirty and molded it was. Overall it was a great trip. Everything as was posted.
Amazing place (4wd recommended) luckily I had that. So peaceful, 1st nite their I booked another cabin for Dec to take my kids back thru fireside chalets

The cabin
My Parents and son stayed at this cabin for GSJI 2022, the drive way is horrible, the cabin was half way Clean. If you looking to watch TV in the bed rooms at night after a long day out this cabin is not for you.
The driveway is very steep with hairpin turns. I would highly recommend you drive past the entrance of the cabin and turn around on the next driveway and go up from the driveway from the other side as this will keep your cars rear end from scraping the road. I’d recommend doing the same thing going out of the driveway unless you’re driving a 4x4 truck. The couch and chair needs replaced (very uncomfortable). Could also use new mattresses. Plenty of cookware and dishes and washer/dryer work well. Guest bathroom also nice. The views were nice and the hot tub was nice as well. Make sure to take ice and water as the water does contain sulphur and the smell is pretty bad. Staff was always available when we called also.

Questionable
First thing walking in was a cupboard door hanging off the hinge...walked in master bedroom and in the corner of the room was a huge dust ball , so that showed me how much cleaning is done..Not enough toilet paper so had to go buy some...water smelled when running .
The bathroom rugs obviously weren't washed for awhile...You pay a cleaning fee for what reason? The game machine was broken..
Not worth the money...I think 1st impression should be a clean place!! Master bed has a sag in it ! Not comfortable.
Very disappointed!
