Saffron Cottage es NUEVO PARA ALQUILER EN JUNIO DE 2019. Durante la temporada alta de verano, tenemos un día de cambio DOMINGO, esto es flexible en cualquier otra época del año. Por favor, envíenos un correo electrónico para discutir los días y si podemos acomodarlo, ¡haremos todo lo posible! Es una hermosa casa de cuatro dormitorios, tres baños, estilo casa de campo. ¡Está a solo 4 millas de Padstow! Toda la casa está recién decorada y amueblada (primavera de 2019) en un estilo cómodo y moderno de Scandi. Hay suelos de baldosas en toda la planta baja con calefacción por suelo radiante. Hay una planta baja de planta abierta con cocina, comedor y sala de estar. La cocina es encantadora de usar, está limpia, organizada y bien preparada para disfrutar cocinando si así lo desea. ¡Una gran mesa de comedor ovalada y 8 sillas están posicionadas idealmente para relajarse y socializar mientras se mantiene a la compañía del chef! Tenemos un área lejos de la televisión con un sofá y un sillón que da a la terraza en la parte trasera. Este es un lugar relajante para disfrutar de un café y el papel o acurrucarse con un buen libro. Grandes puertas francesas conducen a la zona de terraza. El salón tiene dos sofás, un sillón y una gran bolsa de frijoles de terciopelo. Hay una gran pantalla plana de televisión inteligente, un reproductor de DVD y muchos excelentes DVD. La habitación se beneficia de una hermosa estufa de leña.
Arriba, las habitaciones están todas equipadas con persianas y alfombras nuevas en todas partes. Cada habitación ha sido cuidadosamente decorada para garantizar el máximo confort y una buena noche de sueño. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king size SIMBA colchón enmarcado.
En la parte trasera de la propiedad, hay una hermosa área de terraza con una mesa de comedor y sillas para ocho y una barbacoa de carbón Weber. ¡Es un lugar perfecto para cenar al aire libre o disfrutar de una bebida mientras ve la puesta de sol! Hay puntos de vista para abrir las tierras de labrantío.
En la parte frontal de la cabaña, hay dos grandes lechos de flores con arbustos maduros y un borde de lavanda. Está protegido del carril con cobertura madura y hay estacionamiento para hasta tres autos. Hay un grifo exterior y una manguera que es ideal para enjuagar el equipo de arena y los trajes de neopreno.

Beautiful Cottage in a fantastic location .

Great property in a quiet village for our family of 6 , spacious and tastefully decorated , well equipped . Good outside seating area for the whole family to dine on .Fantastic location , being only 10 minutes from Padstow and some amazing beaches . Our two grandchildren loved being able to use the paddle boards in the shed , thank-you Such joy on their faces .Great communication with the owner , nothing too much trouble .Will most definitely return and recommend to family and friends .

Comfortable

The property is a very nice house although the staircase leaves a lot to be designed the flights are too far apart for most people plus it had a coffee machine with some of the parts missing. Other than that it is quite a nice house.

Outstanding Cottage & Host

Sarah went above and beyond what you would expect from a holiday host. The newly renovated property is flawless and in a lovely location with two lovely beaches within 12 mins. The property has every amenity you can think of including a coffee machine which made mornings evn more enjoyable. For those concerned about the remoteness of the cottage, you can be reassured that it comes with excellent fibre broadband. We achieved download rates of 40Mbps which is better than most. Overall we wouldn't think twice about coming back to this cottage in the future and would reccommend it to everyone.

Immaculate, spacious, modern property in peaceful location

The house was situated perfectly for us at a time when we didn't want to be surrounded by lots of other people. We felt safe and reassured that the property had been cleaned so thoroughly prior to our arrival. The tiny hamlet/village of Rumford is only a very short drive away from several beautiful coves and the amenities of Wadebridge and Padstow. Sarah provided enough information ahead of our stay that we felt organised and check-in ran very smoothly with a beautiful welcome pack awaiting us after a long journey. Our online food delivery arrived half an hour after we arrived so it was a great start. The kitchen had everything (and more) that we needed and there is so much attention to detail with high end omewares and nods to the local area which connects the house to its location. We were so thrilled to be able to barbecue on the decking and the Nespresso coffee machine was a big hit too. Beds were comfortable and ample space both upstairs and downstairs for our family's gathering. Sarah was a very diligent and thoughtful host with excellent communication and a genuine desire for us to enjoy our holiday. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Stunning Cottage

Absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean, amazingly well equipped had everything. Very spacious bigger than we thought. Lovely sized decking area. Large BBQ which we used twice. Set in a lovely small village peaceful and relaxing. Short distance to beaches and Padstow. There was 7 of us altogether and ample space without being on top of each other. WE loved it and would definately recommend to family and friends. If looking for a 4 bedroom property,look no further. Sheila and John Keetch and family from Bristol.

Owner very helpful in sorting out a problem with door into the garden

Clean and well equipped. Sunny patio for alfresco meals enjoy rural view in quiet neighbourhood. Good sized shed to accommodate surfing gear. Off road parking. Spacious living area and good sized bedrooms Daughter, 23year old grandson and I enjoyed a five star holiday. Thank you

Great property & location

We enjoyed our stay at Saffron Cottage which was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Just a short drive to Padstow and great surf lessons with Waves Surf School at various beautiful beaches on the north Cornwall coast. Just over half an hour to the Eden project, Adrenalin Quarry or jet skiing from St Austell - with 4 teenagers in tow there was lots to keep them entertained.

Lovely property in a great location

We had a great stay in Saint Ervan. The property is contemporary, well equipped and clean. It has a lovely deck overlooking some fields and the kitchen/dining/lounge area is more spacious than the photos show. We found the location to be very convenient and easy for getting to Padstow, Wadebridge and the nearby beaches for surfing. The lanes around the house and St Ervan mean you don't get stuck in holiday traffic, which is a real bonus. I'd definitely recommend this property if you're looking to stay in the Padstow/North Cornwall area. Ps if you have kids, the Cornwall Birds of Prey Centre is great

Excellent Location

Close to many wonderful beaches and ports. Clean property, quiet location, good communication with owners when needed. En-suite bedroom bed so comfortable, slept like a baby. If your looking for a stunning cottage in North Cornwall, then look no further.....

Fabulous Stay, will be returning!

An amazing stay at Saffron Cottage, absolutely perfect for families. We have two young children (4 years old) and the house would be perfect for all ages. Beautiful outlook onto fields and brilliantly located for access to Padstow, numerous beaches (Porthcothan, Harlyn Bay & Constantine Bay) and a number of great restaurants (The Pig was exceptional). Super responsive host and the house had everything you could need for a stay - beach chairs, good quality home furnishings and comfortable bed and bed linen. Already planning our next stay. Family trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saffron Cottage! It was a wonderful location for day trips to beach and local towns. Beautiful Cottage for our family holiday.

This was absolutely lovely. Everything we needed was catered for, and more. The rooms, the decor, the kitchen utensils.. everything was tastefully provided and comfortable. Stunning property in beautiful location

The house was amazing, the thought put into it surpassed all expectations. The kitchen was stocked with every piece of crockery, pot or pan you could possibly need. When we arrived we found a lovely welcome basket on the table with Cornish tea, coffee, biscuits etc , there was even fresh milk left in the fridge . Great location close to lots of beaches and in a beautiful rural village and only a short drive to Padstow Hosts were brilliant , friendly and helpful Thank you for a brilliant holiday !

What a wonderful cottage! Sarah was so helpful right from the booking stage to checking out. Saffron Cottage is perfectly located, immaculately decorated & spotlessly clean. Had a wonderful family holiday & can’t wait to return again next year! xx

A lovely break!

We had a fantastic week at Saffron Cottage. It is one of the best holiday lets we have stayed in - everything you could want, the owners have thought of. Yes it is in a quiet hamlet, but really no more than 5 mins to the amenities of St Merryn and it was nice to be out of the way during the high season! We would have no hesitation with booking again and are already looking at dates for next year.

Fabulous Holiday Cottage in beautiful little village of Rumford!

Just arrived home from a wonderful week’s holiday at Saffron Cottage with my husband, daughter and her partner. The cottage was beautiful, a credit to its owner Sarah. Situated in a lovely quiet village and in a wonderful position to visit all the beautiful bays nearby. The cottage is just as the photos show but has recently had a beautiful decking put down which was lovely to relax on and sunbathe after a days sightseeing. Lovely open plan area downstairs - I have no negative comments to give and I am sure we will be back if Sarah allows. Sarah couldn’t have been more helpful and concerned that we had everything we required. Thanks for a lovely holiday. Alison.

Cornwall Staycation

The property was a very good standard and really well equipped. The location was a wee bit remote but most amenities just a shortish drive away. Beds were clean and comfy. In my opinion it would enhance the outside experience if an area could be utilised as a bbq operation in the decking rather than as is around the side of the house! Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

Cornish getaway

Saffron Cottage is a very nice place to stay. The village of Rumford is very small - no pub or shop - but Padstow is very close for Tesco and plenty of places to eat. Need to book in advance at most pubs and restaurants. Cleanliness of cottage was top notch and the kitchen was kitted out like our own homes - brilliant. Beds were comfy and any small problem we had was dealt with very quickly. I would definately return sometime.

Had a very pleasant stay with family in a lovely cottage in a peaceful village location. Close to several beaches. Booking process was straight Ford and communication with the owner excellent and very helpful.

A perfect holiday cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Saffron Cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful, well furnished and very well equipped - it had everything we could possibly need. The layout worked perfectly for 2 young families and we had plenty of space. Communication with the owner, Sarah, was excellent and we really appreciated her flexibility with checking in and the welcome goodies! The cottage is well placed for exploring the surrounding area, with lots of beautiful beaches/coastal walks within a short drive. We found Padstow was really convenient for meals out as well. We just hope we get the opportunity to stay here again in the future!

Having visited the area for holidays with our two daughters, we have had so much fun and created so many happy memories, that we decided to find our own little piece of Cornwall to enjoy.
We live in the Cotswolds and try to visit Saffron Cottage as often as life allows!

We chose Rumford because we love the fact that it is so peaceful and pretty, yet it is very close to all the gorgeous places you would want to visit such as Padstow and the beaches. Saffron Cottage is exactly what we were looking for. It is a contemporary and exceptionally well constructed and insulated eco-friendly house (German Huf Haus) which comes with underfloor heating provided by an air source heat pump as well as a heat recovery system to help minimise environmental impact.
