Overall great experience! Visiting with another couple. We liked that we both had our own space with king beds and our own bathroom. We loved the large lanai for hanging out and evening cards/games and the view of both the property (Tikis lit up at night) and the ocean. We appreciated the welcoming coffee, cookies and water bottles. Kitchen was supplied well. A couple of the beach chairs were broken and were replaced within 30 minutes of us calling customer service. Found all staff to be friendly and accommodating. Loved having beach access and the flexibility to play in Ocean and/or pool

Stay at Konea 345

Wonderful peaceful week with sunshine. Great walking areas and access to grocery stores and small shops. Also medical center nearby. Only wish there was more access to evening dining as Dukes was usually booked up. Did get to have quite a few lunches and two dinners there and they were delicious and staff was great. Thanks for a beautiful 6 days.

Great location

The unit looks as shown in the listing. The property management company is very responsive. I always had a reply within minutes. Because the unit is run by a property management company, they have a very standard offering of utensils and supplies. For what we paid, we were disappointed that there wasn’t better quality utensils, knives or pod coffee maker. They did provide some basic supplies like soap, garbage bags, etc. but a small amount. They did provide extra supplies when asked, but I would’ve appreciated if it had been stocked appropriately for our two week stay right from the start. Overall, the unit was fine and the resort is great (although starting to show age - towel stations and gates were finicky and we were told by resort staff that’s just how it is now).

Family vacation

Great location with Duke’s right on sight (even if booked you can still carry out) and the beachfront boardwalk that allows you to walk to Whaler’s Village. The condo itself was extremely clean, nice linens, and quality appliances if you prefer to prepare food at home.

Great family vacation!

Our vacation and stay at Honua Kai was lovely. The facility is beautiful. Pools were plentiful and our family enjoyed them everyday of our stay. The condo is comfortable and the building is well kept. My only feedback for improvement would be: I wish check in wasn’t 5pm. That is a bit late when flying in with kids to wait for a room. When we asked for an earlier check -in, they granted 4pm but the room still wasn’t ready. Industry standard check in would be 2pm. And this unit needs some appliance work. Clothes and Hair dryers both didn’t work.

Beautiful stay!

Just stayed a week at Honua Kai Konea 345 and the unit was really beautiful and exactly as pictured. This 2 bedroom condo was perfect for my family of 4 plus 2 extra family guests in 2nd bedroom. Had our own bathroom which was a must! Cabanas were great to book too! Only downside of Honua Kai that I didn't know until our stay is they don't offer room service and Dukes has a VERY long wait time, so I you have kids and spent allll day at the pool and want to get them fed at a reasonable time, you should place your name at dukes early, or plan to just order for dukes pick up. Otherwise, fabulous trip!

Wonderful place, amazing snorkeling

We ate on the patio every meal and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and view. Onsite staff was very helpful and property management were very responsive (especially the last minute request for an air mattress). Wish the kitchen would have been a little more stocked (spices, etc...). The beach directly outside has the best snorkeling we found anywhere else on the island.

A wonderful condo in an amazing resort!

Konea 345 is exactly as described! Two huge bedrooms with king size beds and a spacious living room and kitchen in between. Plenty of space for our group of 6 and a baby. We appreciated all the included extras ... a high chair, air mattress, beach toys and chairs. The lanai is big, with great views of the grounds, pools and ocean. The condo was well equipped for cooking in and included coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper. Very family friendly ... our kids loved the water slide and pools and there were several areas for our toddler to play in too. The beach is just steps away ... it's not big but there was enough room for us all to play and sit. The food at Duke's restaurant was great and it had several kids meal options. Maui Resort Rentals was excellent to deal with and kept in touch during our stay. Bell staff were kind and helpful. We all loved the resort and would book this condo again!

Very good hotel, very friendly for family with kids. we have 2 bedroom with 2 king size bed, also there is a airbed to use. Full kitchen essential, and the Hawaii coffee as welcome gift is very good. Love the hotel and people, will stay again and recommend to friends.
