Vista sulle montagne mozzafiato, privacy e spazio per distendersi! Offriamo il fascino del vecchio mondo con una grande casa di campagna a 2 piani. Un camino a gas rustico vi invita nell'ampio soggiorno. 4 camere da letto al piano superiore (7-8 posti letto, 3 letti matrimoniali e 1 letto matrimoniale, con un futon nella sala biliardo per dormire extra) 2 bagni completi entrambi con vasca e doccia. Grande cucina con tutti i comfort, frigorifero di dimensioni standard e piano cottura, forno a microonde, caffettiera e lavastoviglie. Abbiamo anche un altro frigorifero di dimensioni standard nel garage annesso per il vostro uso. Abbiamo una lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice full size. Per l'intrattenimento abbiamo un tavolo da biliardo, giochi, carte, Dish TV e stereo / radio e grandi prati verdi per attività all'aperto. Abbiamo anche un pozzo del fuoco all'aperto per il vostro divertimento. Tre grandi ponti e un piccolo balcone. Il ponte inferiore ha un barbecue a gas e tavolo e sedie per godersi i pasti o semplicemente sedersi e rilassarsi. Goditi il tuo caffè mattutino sul ponte posteriore fuori dall'angolo della cucina, respira l'aria fresca e ammira la maestosa vista sui Monti Elkhorn! Il ponte superiore offre le viste più fantastiche sia dell'Elkhorn che dell'Eagle Cap Mountains. Goditi i vari animali selvatici che frequentano la zona .. cervi, alci, forse persino una volpe, solo per citarne alcuni! Incluso è un garage annesso ad una baia per la tua auto, motoslitta, slitte, sci, motociclette o qualsiasi cosa tu voglia tenere fuori dal tempo. C'è anche un parcheggio barca / camper disponibile. Siamo vicini a sci, motoslitta, escursioni, pesca. C'è un minimo di 2 notti. Questa è una fattoria funzionante e c'è una possibilità durante i mesi estivi che avremo fieno durante il vostro soggiorno. Assicurati che ci sia molto spazio e probabilmente non noterai qualcuno che guida attraverso il cortile. Potresti divertirti a rilassarti sul ponte e vederli tagliare / balla di fieno! A pochi minuti dal bellissimo centro storico. Baker City offre negozi unici, degustazioni di vini, ottimo cibo e numerosi eventi come il 1 ° venerdì (mostre d'arte), il 3 ° giovedì (passeggiata nel vino), il Giubileo dei minatori solo per citarne alcuni.

We went there in October while attending a wedding. House was just as advertised and exceeded are expectations. Everything worked flawlessly and host provided everything you would need to bbq or cook. House had million dollar views of the surrounding mountains and farm land. We woke up to incredible sunrises. Host was very responsive to all questions we texted to her. This home is big and cozy. Excellent covered porch with bbq to enjoy anytime of the year. Large garage to park inside if you need it during ski season. Pool table was fun. We would totally stay here again. This house is a historical farmhouse on a real farm. You can hear cows mooing. There is a lot of privacy since there are no close neighbors. Excellent house and host.

We'll be back!

Your house was just perfect for my family to stay in while we were in town for a wedding. Beds were comfortable, decks were cool in the mornings and evenings, and the views and fresh air couldn't have been more relaxing. We will definitely consider staying here again!

An early 1900’s home updated, completely functional, clean and well equipped. The peaceful location is a huge issue for me. I wouldn’t change anything. The family history was interesting, and you can never have too much of the family history. Extremely comfortable furniture too, especially the beds. The cows kept the grandson entertained for a long time. The dredge and steam train in Sumpter were icing on the cake.

Family time

Staying at D&M Hill Ranch was absolutely wonderful. Care has been taken to feel like a welcoming home, not a rental. The home is comfy and surrounded by incredible views. The yard was perfect to sit and enjoy the surroundings and play with our little ones. Thoughtfulness was taken to label and provide for all our needs with a darling coffee nook, kitchen, large deck with bbq and more. Absolutely loved our time there

This really is a charming farm home. It has lots of space to accommodate a larger group of people. It is relatively quiet, though I know that at certain times farm work is going on around it. This is our second time to use the place and we have one more group planning on using it in November.

That mountain view was amazing. We loved sitting out on the deck and talking with our family. We appreciated the cleanliness and organization of the house. And quick clear communication from the host. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat then this place should be your next reservation.

Wonderful home in the foothills of the Elkhorns

Our family really enjoyed having such a well equipped and cozy home away from home during our Spring Break at Anthony Lakes. Lorrie was very attentive during our week long stay. We really enjoyed hearing and seeing the resident owl and the spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains. We hope to be back next season.

Baker City Trip

Our family and friends have stayed at the Ranch for the past 4 years for our annual ski trip. We thoroughly enjoy the property, location, and the owners have always been friendly and easy to work with. I would suggest it to anyone looking for a weekend place in the Baker area!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful farm house. Everything was clean and cozy! Was a great place to come back to after a day on the mountain skiing. Everything about this place was so perfect. Hopefully we will be able to return next year

HUNTING CREW

This our second year renting this property for elk hunting. We are getting too old to camp out so we found this property that fits our needs very well. There is a garage bay to use for gear and plenty of room. The property is extremely clean especially considering it's location on a working farm. Being outside of town lends itself to privacy and the views are spectacular! We were very satisfied yet again!

Warm and homey

Met our daughter, son-in-law and 2 year old granddaughter in a central location so neither of us had to drive far. The house is well-appointed and comfortable with amazing view of the Elk Horn Mountains. The farmhouse atmosphere was right up our alley!

Perfect

This cozy house was perfect for our time in Haines. We were there for our nephews wedding! We cooked for the rehearsal, and this was about 5 miles from where the venue was. So nice to come back to a quiet, air conditioned bedroom to rest. Perfect scenery to relax in. Thank You!

Retreat

We were four women from our church who went for a one-day spiritual retreat. This property was exactly what we needed. There were enough beds and bedrooms for us. We had great indoor and outdoor space to separate and spend time alone, but also provided great space to gather together for meals and for fellowship. We loved it!

Baker Views!

We just wrapped up a wonderful stay at the D & M Hill Ranch in Baker City, Oregon, with great views of the Elkhorn Mountains. We were not new to Baker and chose this house for two reasons. First, the house was close to the wedding we would be attending. Secondly, the house had 3 queen size beds and a king, giving all three of our kids the same sleeping experience. The house was incredibly clean and cool, despite the 107-degree temperatures outside. While the farmhouse has a strong vintage feel, small touches like black and white throw pillows, for example, show a more contemporary and lighter vibe. It has a nice blend of modernity and history to make for a comfortable experience overall. As I was leaving, I was regretting that I did not have time to hang out on one of the decks and do very little. The property owner was very responsive and we had absolutely no issues. We did not see the Welcome Book in the front hall and did not need it as we had so much family stuff going on. I hope if you are getting to Baker to hunt, fish, or go to a wedding, you will consider this property. You won't be disappointed.

Great relaxing farmhouse getaway

This is a great property. All 4 of the bedrooms are upstairs, 2 bathrooms, fantastic views of the valley and the Elkhorn Mountains. Easy drive to Baker City or Haines. Lots of history with this farmhouse. Would absolutely stay there again. Thank you

Charming farmhouse stay

Charming farmhouse with a mix of old and new furnishings and décor. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen supplies were well stocked, allowing for easy cooking. We enjoyed the beautiful views out the windows and off the decks. The active hay harvesting going on was so interesting to watch, and was a bonus we didn't expect. Lorrie was a very friendly host and we would definitely stay here again.

In love

Our trip included 5 sisters in law. We loved every single thing from the communication when we booked, to the easy directions upon arrival to get in, to the cleanliness and organization of the house. We all agreed we also loved the porches/decks with great views, the mountains, the owls that live nearby and also how close we were to Baker. The whole experience was one of the best rental experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you so much Lorrie!!!!!!!

Loved our stay

This was the perfect getaway for our family. We loved the quiet evenings out on the deck and having breakfast on the back porch with an amazing view. It is just a short drive to town. The place stayed so cool and comfortable as long as we followed her instructions. It was fun to teach our youngest to play pool. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful property

Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend here. The house was cozy and comfortable and the surrounding area and Mountain View’s were amazing. Communication with the owners was great, the check in information and directions were very helpful and they were quick to respond if we had any questions. It felt like home away from home.

Being in the country is so serene. We are surrounded by grassy fields that normally have cows or horses in them. There are several kinds of birds from robins to owls and everything in between. The views of the Elkhorn and Eagle Mountains are amazing!

Our house is a large house with lots of room to move around in. We offer a coffee and tea bar that's located in the nook off the kitchen. We've mixed vintage and modern styles so you can feel right at home. We also have three large decks with tables and chairs and a large yard for outdoor playing. (We've also included a few outdoor games) We have pretty much everything you need to be comfortable and relaxed during your stay.
