Burgess Creek Townhomes are a hidden gem within close proximity to the ski area (1/2 mile to Thunderhead lift and a mile to gondola) and downtown. This two-level townhome will pamper you in casual, western comfort. The 1460 square foot bi-level townhome is spacious and contains very comfortable Eddie Bauer furniture. From the deck, dining room, living room and bedrooms, you can watch and listen to the sounds of Burgess Creek. Use trails immediately behind the unit to access ski, snowshoe and mountain bike trails.
Lower Level: Bedrooms (2 Queens +1 single), Bathrooms (1 tub/shower, 1 shower), 5 closets, Laundry Room
The lower ground level has two queen bedrooms (both with windows facing Burgess Creek) with large closets, 2 full bathrooms and a spacious laundry room. New carpet and paint in 2012 make both bedrooms very comfortable and light filled. There's also a single bed pull-out chair which can be placed in either the master or 2nd bedroom. We provide all bed linens and towels so you can arrive with just your suitcase and cosmetics.
The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with separate sink/vanity area and a second large closet for the master bedroom. The tub/shower combination has updated tile, paint and toilet fixtures. The 2nd bathroom is across from the 2nd bedroom and has an updated shower enclosure, sink and toilet - also recently updated.
The full size laundry room with cloths folding area and drying rack is conveniently located near the master and guest bedrooms and bathrooms.
Upper Level: Entry, Powder Room, Storage Closets (2), Living, Dining, Kitchen, Attached Heated Garage
The upper level features two entry closets for gear storage and a guest bath/powder room. The spacious living room with stone wood burning fire place also boasts a queen pull-out sofa for guests and sliding glass doors to the deck overlooking Burgess Creek. Additional sofa and oversized chair make for cozy and spacious entertaining space. The dining room area has a 6 person table and a kitchen/bar area with 4 stools. The kitchen is fully stocked with newer appliances (2010) and all the gadgets, dishes, pans, glassware that you'll need for a comfortable stay.
The town home boasts an attached one car, heated garage with plenty of room for a car or lots of gear - in addition to a covered (carport) designated parking spot.
This is a quiet building of professionals and residents and not a party property. Renters are not allowed to have pets and we are very strict on that. We give priority to inquiries for a full year rental or at least 6 months. VRBO's pricing section won't allow me to add a 180 day minimum for ski season so for shorter stays (i.e. 3 months) our rate is $2,500/month. Thanks for your consideration.
My mother purchased this condo when she retired as a place for our families to gather in winter and summer. We now all live in Michigan, Minnesota and Colorado and enjoy spending time at the condo when possible.
This property was chosen because of its quiet location, a bit off the beaten path and away from the chaos of the usual tourist complexes. The creek and the woods make it feel like a rural, country retreat - very relaxing yet so close to the ski mountain and downtown.

This was wonderful. Clean, close to everything. We loved the sound of the creek and how quiet the place is. We hope to be able to stay here again since our son lives in Steamboat.
I completed a BIG item on my bucket list - being a ski bum for a season. My adult daughter and I spent 5 full months in the condo during the 2014/2015 winter season, and had a great time. Condo is really well appointed, clean, very livable and we felt at home after just a few days. The property manager is easy to work with and accommodating. The location is beautiful, peaceful and off the beaten path, so you don't get rowdy crowds during the holidays. The drive on Burgess Creek Road in the winter can be tricky. I ended up buying winter tires with my AWD SUV to get up and down the road. My daughter's Prius had all-season tires and she needed chains a few times during the winter.
Had such a pleasant time hanging out and cooking, sitting in the late warm September sun on the deck.

Saw both a bear and a moose on the road up to the condo. Different times, but c'mon, that's Alaska stuff.
There's a disc golf course at the top of the road where you pick up the ski lift. (So gorgeous.)
Basically, I want to see every season in that place.
My husband and I headed up to the mountains to celebrate his birthday and found this little gem to stay at. Since I owned a housecleaning company for over a decade, I was wildly impressed with the level of cleanliness inside the property, so much so I felt compelled to write a review. While we were there we cooked up a storm in a very nice kitchen, and on one of the rainy days started up a fire in the fire place. The deck offered lovely afternoon light and a great place to have a glass of wine. Everything in the condo worked well and we will be going back for certain! p.s. We did have a fabulous autumn day on the ski mountain playing their disk golf course. Highly recommend.
Back country trails immediately behind unit to access Steamboat Ski area and creek. This building is located 1 mile from the ski base and is not on the ski shuttle. It's a very quiet building away from all the hubbub of the congested tourist condos.

Ignore the auto-fill rate section.... $1,500 refundable security deposit is due at the time of lease signing in order to hold the reservation. $1,500 is due at check-in and $1,500 due every thirty days. Utilities are extra as is internet/wifi ($25/month approx) - both of which will be billed each month or quarter. Cleaning/restocking fee of $200 will be taken out of security deposit.
