Burgess Creek Townhomes are a hidden gem within close proximity to the ski area (1/2 mile to Thunderhead lift and a mile to gondola) and downtown. This two-level townhome will pamper you in casual, western comfort. The 1460 square foot bi-level townhome is spacious and contains very comfortable Eddie Bauer furniture. From the deck, dining room, living room and bedrooms, you can watch and listen to the sounds of Burgess Creek. Use trails immediately behind the unit to access ski, snowshoe and mountain bike trails.

Lower Level: Bedrooms (2 Queens +1 single), Bathrooms (1 tub/shower, 1 shower), 5 closets, Laundry Room

The lower ground level has two queen bedrooms (both with windows facing Burgess Creek) with large closets, 2 full bathrooms and a spacious laundry room. Both bedrooms are very comfortable and light filled. There's also a single bed pull-out chair which can be placed in either the master or 2nd bedroom. We provide all bed linens and towels so you can arrive with just your suitcase and cosmetics.

The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with separate sink/vanity area and a second large closet for the master bedroom. The tub/shower combination has updated tile, paint and toilet fixtures. The 2nd bathroom is across from the 2nd bedroom and has an updated shower enclosure, sink and toilet.

The full size laundry room with cloths folding area and drying rack is conveniently located near the master and guest bedrooms and bathrooms.

Upper Level: Entry, Powder Room, Storage Closets (2), Living, Dining, Kitchen, Attached Heated Garage

The upper level features two entry closets for gear storage and a guest bath/powder room. The spacious living room with stone wood burning fire place also boasts a queen pull-out sofa for guests and sliding glass doors to the deck overlooking Burgess Creek. Additional sofa and oversized chair make for cozy and spacious entertaining space. The dining room area has a 6 person table and a kitchen/bar area with 4 stools. The kitchen is fully stocked with newer appliances (2010) and all the gadgets, dishes, pans, glassware that you'll need for a comfortable stay.

The town home boasts an attached one car, heated garage with plenty of room for a car or lots of gear - in addition to a covered (carport) designated parking spot.

This is a quiet building of professionals and residents and not a party property. Renters are not allowed to have pets and we are very strict on that policy. We give priority to inquiries for a full year rental or at least 6 months. VRBO's system won't allow me to detail the payment terms but they are $1500 security deposit required to hold the reservation; one month's rent due at check-in and thereafter on the first of the month. Quiet, private and comfortable condo

I rented this condo for a year. Couldn't have been happier. The interior is clean and comfortable. New carpet and flooring, and the bathrooms were remodeled. You can't hear the neighbors, and there is barely any noise from the road across the creek, just the creek running during spring. The furniture was in great shape. The top floor is an open plan living room to dining room. The kitchen is separated by a bar you can sit at. It's great for socializing. In the fireplace there's a working wood stove with a glass front panel that still gives the feeling of having a fire, plus it heats the place wonderfully. I found it difficult to find a condo with an attached garage, which this place has plus a covered parking spot. The landlord is friendly and easy to deal with. It's not on the bus route, but the ski parking and bus to town is not far down the road. The view is of the small creek valley. It's not sweeping view, but it's scenic and green. I saw moose and bear from the patio. Plus you're not looking at other buildings, and no one is looking in at you. I would definitely recommend this property. I only left because I moved out of town.

Very nice

I stayed in this great creek side condo in July 2017 and January 2016. It is super clean, very well stocked and the owner is extremely responsive. In the winter there is a great fireplace which makes the living room so cozy. In the summer, it’s great to hear and see the babbling Burgess Creek right outside both bedroom windows and from the balcony. The bedrooms are spacious and have a ton of closet space for storage (much more than what we needed). The location is away from all the tourist traffic and is a quite and peaceful getaway. You really can’t go wrong with this town home - winter or summer.

Home away from home

This is one of the most amazing places we've stayed at!! So comfortable and relaxing. My son and I stayed here for 2 winter season for 6 months each. I felt right at home. The owner is amazing! Very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. Very clean place, nice furnishings. Highly recommended staying here.

Winter Season in Steamboat

I completed a BIG item on my bucket list - being a ski bum for a season. My adult daughter and I spent 5 full months in the condo during the 2014/2015 winter season, and had a great time. Condo is really well appointed, clean, very livable and we felt at home after just a few days. The property manager is easy to work with and accommodating. The location is beautiful, peaceful and off the beaten path, so you don't get rowdy crowds during the holidays. The drive on Burgess Creek Road in the winter can be tricky. I ended up buying winter tires with my AWD SUV to get up and down the road. My daughter's Prius had all-season tires and she needed chains a few times during the winter.

Loved the place!

Had such a pleasant time hanging out and cooking, sitting in the late warm September sun on the deck.

Clean as a whistle--and my wife used to own a housecleaning business!

Saw both a bear and a moose on the road up to the condo. Different times, but c'mon, that's Alaska stuff.

There's a disc golf course at the top of the road where you pick up the ski lift. (So gorgeous.)

Basically, I want to see every season in that place.

This property was chosen because of its quiet location, a bit off the beaten path and away from the chaos of the usual tourist complexes. The creek and the woods make it feel like a rural, country retreat - very relaxing yet so close to the ski mountain and downtown.

This was our summer home for two seasons in 2016 and 2017. We stayed from early summer to late fall – 5 months each time. Had we not had a purchase opportunity fall into our lap, we would have been at this property each summer for years and years to come. There are so many positives to staying here. It has a large ATTACHED garage AND a covered parking space. Its spacious and has a functional floorplan that gives you two nice sized bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs with a laundry room (not a laundry closet!). Upstairs is a full kitchen (appointed with most anything you need to cook with and a pantry closet), a comfortable “great room type” living area with plush furniture (converts to sleeper), a wood burning stove, and a powder room. The front door opens into an enclosed vestibule. There’s a full-sized balcony with furniture and a grill. We spent many summer evenings there having dinner and watching the hummingbirds swoop and trill. The full-time residents put up feeders and the evenings attract perhaps a hundred of those little guys. The residents of the complex are friendly and helpful and it’s very quiet. We never heard our neighbors and because the complex is small there isn’t much traffic in and out. The property looks out onto trees and running Burgess Creek from all windows, downstairs and up. It’s private because the visibility is mostly out and not in. Well, except for the Moose who occasionally looked in our bedroom window. She seemed to be resident in the fall and brought her baby to munch on the willows by the creek and spend the nights behind the parking structure. And don’t be surprised if you find a porcupine sitting on the steps of the vestibule when you take out the garbage at night. The overall location of this condo is great because it takes you away from the congestion of Central Park Plaza where the grocery store/Walmart/shops are and its only 5 minutes to downtown Lincoln Avenue shops and restaurants. Its close-close-close to skiing. The main ski resort is 1 minute down the road and the Thunderhead Express lift is 1 minute up the road. During the summer you can walk to Creekside trailhead which gives you access to beautiful hiking – anything from short trips to challenging 12-mile all-day adventures. Its simply a comfortable and convenient place to make your home base while in Steamboat and the the folks who own and manage it are accommodative and make it easy to stay there. Highly recommend!

Back country trails immediately behind unit to access Steamboat Ski area and creek. This building is located 1 mile from the ski base and is not on the ski shuttle. It's a very quiet building away from all the hubbub of the congested tourist condos.

$1,500 refundable damage deposit is due at the time of booking to secure the reservation and the monthly rent is due at or prior to check-in and then monthly payments after that.
Cleaning/restocking fee of $200 will be taken out of security deposit.
