Excepcionales vistas al mar desde esta encantadora villa enclavada en la ladera.

Kalograta Villa es una villa de una planta y 2 dormitorios ubicada en la ladera sobre el pintoresco y popular puerto de Fiscardo. Se pueden disfrutar espectaculares vistas al mar desde la gran terraza de la villa y las terrazas graduadas en el jardín de abajo. La casa está totalmente de acuerdo con el área; Tiene techos altos de madera, suelos de piedra extraídos localmente y ventanas y persianas de madera tradicionales. La villa consta de una gran sala de estar y comedor, cocina abierta y una escalera de caracol que conduce a una sala de TV en un entrepiso. Hay dos habitaciones, una doble y una doble, ambas con cuarto de baño con ducha. La sala de estar y las habitaciones se abren a una gran terraza que ofrece impresionantes vistas sobre la cercana isla de Ithaca y Lefkada, con las montañas continentales de Epiros en la distancia. Debajo de la terraza principal hay un jardín maduro que consta de dos olivos centenarios que brindan una agradable sombra natural durante el caluroso verano, coloridos arbustos de adelfa, plantas aromáticas de madreselva y jazmín, yucas y un limonero. Un camino de piedra con pendiente gradual serpentea hasta la terraza de la piscina privada desde la casa.

La villa está a poca distancia del pueblo local con tiendas y tabernas, de Fiscardo y de una variedad de hermosas playas.

Villa Kalograta ha estado en HomeAway durante algunos años.
Nos alojamos aquí por un mes en 2019 y nos enamoramos de él. Las vistas no solo son espectaculares, sino que también son muy cómodas y bien planificadas. Nos encantó descubrir que estaba a la venta ... ¡y el resto es historia!

Wonderful location

We loved the location of this villa. The views are stunning and so much space outside to sit in shade or sun and watch the sky and sea. Walking to the local village for coffee, cake and shopping was easy. We did not want to hire a care and contacting a local taxi company was easy on days we wanted to travel further afield. We will hopefully return 2025. Very happy place to stay.

Fabulous

The villa was perfect. We had a wonderful two weeks in this beautiful part of the island. Very quiet and relaxing. The views from the terrace are out of this world. We couldn't fault it. Asos is a beautiful village as is Fiskardo and the shops in the local village are very well stocked There are some lovely restaurants around but our favourite was Odysseas at Agia Jerusalem.

Tranquil location, stunning views, gorgeous pool, charming & comfortable accommodation, loved it all

We absolutely loved Villa Kalograta. We had stayed in Fiscardo on 2 previous occasions and really preferred being out of town in a more rural, tranquil setting. The views are stunning, Ithaca and Lefkada in front of you. The garden is beautiful with olive trees, palms and a lemon tree. The pool was kept spotlessly clean, we really enjoyed having it all to ourselves. The house is simple but charming and we loved it, you have everything you need, air conditioning in both bedrooms, comfortable beds & pillows! We walked down to Maganos to eat several times. Our favourite restaurant was Picnic but we also had very good food at the other 2 tavernas ( much better food than we had in Fiscardo) . We walked to Fiscardo but the route was very rough and rather challenging in the August heat. We also walked to Foki which was a much better footpath ( still quite rough) through woods and a village. All the staff we met were lovely and friendly and the platter of salad, dips and fresh bread was such a lovely treat to find in the fridge on our arrival. I have nothing negative to say, we’re going to start saving for our next visit!

Magnifique propriété au calme

Jolie maison, tout confort et bien équipée. Superbe vue sur la mer, les collines et l'île d'Ithaque. Beau jardin méditerranéen, agrémenté d'une très belle et agréable piscine. Service de gestion de location sur place réactif, serviable et agréable. Le ménage a été fait plusieurs fois durant le séjour. Jolis sentiers alentour, petits magasins à proximité; voiture indispensable. Nous avons passé de très agréables vacances dans ce cadre paradisiaque et ne pouvons que recommander cette location.

Great autumn break

Very comfortable, great location only 15 minute walk to shops restaurants and a short drive to Fiskardo and two idyllic beaches/coves. Amazing views, pool. What more could one ask for!

Paradise in Kefalonia

Everything was as described the villa was set in a quiet location in the hills with only goats passing by twice a day. The views to the coast were fantastic and the supermarket in the nearby village had everything we needed. There was a local cafe which had a great range for breakfast lunch and evening meals. Fiscardo a further ten mins away by car is a fabulous port with superb tavernas and shops and has a great buzz with yatchs mooring up every day. If you like beaches there are several within 15 mins of the villa by car. All in all a fabulous location to take a break.

Great summer holiday

Its hard to fault this property. We had a wonderful time their. Great views and a great location. Close to the lovely village of Maganos and an easy drive to Fiskardo. There was also a number of great beaches to choose within easy driving distance including Koki beach and our favourite Alaties beach. We also found Nick to be very helpful and easy to contact.I would recomend this property and we are considering returning next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful view, wonderful villa

Perfect for two and works well for four as each bedroom has its own en-suite. The different levels of terracing meant we could spread out, so never felt crowded. I particularly loved the lounger under the olive tree. The villa is really well equipped and the kitchen knives were nicely sharp ( often a failing with rentals). There was everything we needed. It’s an easy drive from here to many beaches, a great choice of places to eat, Fiscardo to watch the super yachts, and Magganos for local shops. We loved it!

Perfect in every way

This was our second visit. We loved it so much last year we couldn't wait to go back again. Beautiful villa with everything you could possibly want and a fantastic view of the mountains and sea. Quiet location close to Fiskardo which we love. We look forward to going again soon!

Amazing views

This is a lovely place. Well kitted out and very comfy double bed. Nick owner was very helpful but in no way intrusive We had a car so were able to go to all local beaches. Our favourite were Dafnoudi and Kamilia. Nice meal at Ellie's in Fiscardo. Used a local taxi which was only 10€. Would highly recommend this place P.s I don't often fill these in!

Perfect villa in beautiful surroundings

We had never been to Kefalonia before and we were so pleased we chose this location and the villa at Katsarata. The villa itself is spacious, spotlessly clean and has modern amenities. We had breakfast every day on the sunny patio with spectacular views of the sea, mountains and forests. The nearby harbour of Fiskardo is a great place to eat in the evening. We drove there most times (it takes about 10 minutes) but you can also walk on well-signposted tracks direct from the villa which took us 45 minutes each way. There are lovely beaches and other places to visit - like the castle at Assos and the nearby beach at Myrtos. Also, if you are walkers like us, there are a lot of walks to various villages and places of interest - all are very clearly marked so you can't get lost. We will certainly be booking again for next year! Gwen and Dave Sidgwick

A beautiful villa with stunning views on an unspoilt island!

Kefalonia is the most amazing island, unspoilt with breathtaking scenery - we were surprised at how stunning it was. Villa Kalograta is beautiful, very well kept and provided us with everything we needed. Abigail had bought us bread, milk and, more importantly, wine for our arrival which was most welcome! Although we didn’t need to, we felt we could contact the owners at anytime about anything and they left detailed information about the villa and the island itself. We would definitely recommend visiting this beautiful island and staying at Villa Kalograta - we had the most incredible holiday and would love to go back!

Wonderful views and warm hospitality

Amazing views

Home from home, clean and comfortable. Views are stunning and it is so peaceful and quiet. Really enjoyed the new walking paths to Fiscardo and Foki bay from Katsarata.

A Brilliant Find

My best friend and I had an amazing 10 night stay at Villa Kalagrata. The house has everything you could need and Abi was very welcoming and helpful. We felt the pictures didn't do it justice, the views and garden are beautiful. The house is very clean and homely. Its situated in an excellent location and completely private. We hired a car recommended by Abi, and it was brilliant for seeing the Island. The local shops in Maganos are fully stocked for such a small village and have all of the essentials and more. I would highly recommend this Villa for anyone wanting to stay in Kefalonia and I hope to come back for another stay soon!

Lovely Family Holiday

We had a wonderful 2 week stay in Villa Kalograta with our 10.5 month old crawling machine. We were able to pen him in (to prevent him going down to the pool level) with a single sun-lounger which made our stay a lot more relaxing! The villa itself is brilliant, north facing, so lovely sunsets and sunrises, whilst remaining cool during the midday sun. Views are exceptional, it feels as if you're in the middle of nowhere, but Fiskardo is just a 10 min drive away and the nearest shop a 1km/15min walk. The nearby beaches are all small and very safe, and the water crystal clear. We'll certainly be back.

Perfect to relax, explore & enjoy

We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday here. The villa is so well situated for exploring the north of Kefalonia and the facilities are perfect for a family or even a romantic break. The views really are truly incredible, we were able to instantly switch off and immerse ourselves in the peace and tranquility the location offers. The pool was wonderfully warm, clean and private. The local beaches were also fantastic for snorkelling, safe swimming and relaxing on. Plenty of beautiful local villages to explore, eat and shop in. Ideal holiday location if you are looking for ease but wanting it all! Thank you so much for accommodating our every need, the BBQ was great, extra bed for the children and everything you need in the kitchen. The welcoming local Greek treats courtesy of Abi were much appreciated, a lovely touch and well used! We would highly recommend the beautiful villa to anyone wanting to get away from it all, but still have an easy life. A wonderful holiday, thank you.

Lovely hill top villa with stunning views

A really lovely villa, secluded location with spectacular views. Villa was comfortably and tastefully furnished - air con was an unexpected ( and much needed!) bonus in both bedrooms. Great pool set in well maintained and attractive terraced garden. Nice beaches and tavernas within easy reach (by car). Owners very nice and helpful. Really hope we can come back next year. Perfect holiday retreat

The villa and the views were both fantastic. The setting is very peaceful and quiet with unbelievable panoramic views, no neighbouring villas have views onto the site which makes it very private and relaxing. The villa itself is full of charm and has a lovely wood burning fire which makes it nice and cosy, there is a tv, but on the mezzanine which makes the main living room much more social area. All very clean and well maintained with a lovely owner who comes twice a week to change bedding. It's great having all the rooms access directly onto the main terrace that gets great sun from morning all the way through to dusk. Would certainly recommend for people looking to get away from the busier places and find a stunning view and cosy, private villa. Need a car if you are renting here - it's a 40 minute walk to Fiscardo, and a BBQ would have been nice, but not a big deal as the kitchen is very good.
