Beautiful original windmill along the riverside

Historical windmill (1691) and now family house. 15 km from Amsterdam, with direct train connection (15 min.). The windmill is situated in the nice city of Weesp, along the river Vecht. Perfect place to enjoy your visit to Amsterdam and region. Enjoying an afternoon swim in the river or playing sports in the garden. You can also use the guest house, its own bathroom and small living room. When we are on holiday we like it if other families enjoy our great home. There are 3 bedrooms in the windmill and 1 bedroom with 2 double beds in the guesthouse.

Netter Urlaub nähe einer Großstadt

Es war ein sehr netter Urlaub in Weesp. Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht und sofort zur Stelle sollte etwas nicht funktioniert oder unklar sein. sehr sehr geräumige Mühle, die sehr viel Platz bietet. Da es verregnet war brauchten wir den Indoor Platz auch. Für alle etwas dabei ob jung oder alt! DANKESCHÖN

Mühlenurlaub

bereits bei der Durchfahrt des schmiedeeisernen Gartentores hat man das Gefühl, in eine andere Welt zu kommen. Und dann steht man vor der imposanten Mühle, beeindruckend! Umgeben von einem eingewachsenem Grundstück, einfach nur schön. Offen zur Wasserseite, Boote gucken den ganzen Tag... Als wir die Mühle betreten haben, fühlten wir uns sofort wie zuhause. Alles sehr persönlich und gemütlich eingerichtet. Viel Platz für jeden... wir waren mit 3 Generation unterwegs und es war einfach toll. Die direkte Lage am Wasser mit eigenem Anleger, Kanus, Motorboot, SUP und Sprungbrett hat die Kinder und uns so begeistert, dass wir so viel Zeit wie möglich in der Mühle verbringen wollten. Danke Familie Visser, für uns war es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub.

Very special place

We loved the windmill. Very special building and awesome location. We didn’t use the guesthouse, so I can’t judge that, but the garden is big and the boys had plenty of things to do. The diving board I to the river was also great fun. Like any house lived in it had its problems, but the caretaker and the house owners dealt with them quickly. Great place, we miss it already.
