This beautiful barn conversion lies just outside the town of Axminster overlooking the countryside and the Axe Valley and can sleep 6 in 3 bedrooms.
The Shippon is one of two beautiful barn conversions positioned on a private farmstead and surrounded by glorious countryside. A short distance from the coast and the market town of Axminster it makes for an ideal base to explore the region. The barn is approached from the front deck into a large open plan light and airy living space with vaulted ceilings and a wood burning stove. Squashy sofas in the centre with a country kitchen and raised dining area at either end. Down 3 steps from the kitchen end to the master bedroom with TV, stable door and en-suite shower room. Up three steps from the dining area to two further bedrooms, a twin and a super-king. A family bathroom with bath and shower over. To the front a large decked patio with seating. Parking for 2 cars. Note: There is a sloped gravel path to the entrance and steps within the property. Note: This property can be booked with refs. 1172783 and 1014133, together sleeping up to 15 guests.
Amenities: Central heating, wood burner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher. TV in sitting room and in bottom ground floor bedroom with Freeview and DVD. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair and travel cot available. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, £50 per fee for the second dog. Off road parking for 2 cars.
