Vintage Lake House One Block From Lake Geneva Sunny home with lovely view

Free-standing house on 100’ x 105’ lot. Sleeps 10.

BOATERS: if you have a trailer, you can store your boat in our driveway and use the public launch.

Currently, we are accepting stays of 30 days or more, but price is flexible in the off-season. If you are looking to rent for a 1-8 month period while relocating or house hunting, we are happy to work with you.



Two levels with separate entrances make the house just right for families or groups of friends. Beautifully decorated, this house has soaring 11-foot ceilings and charming vintage details.

Main level: Sunny, airy living room with a smart TV and sound system. French doors open onto the large, sunny screened porch overlooking the yard and fire pit, with a glimpse of Lake Geneva beyond. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails. The spacious dining room has seating for 10, and the kitchen is well-stocked to serve gatherings. This level has two bedrooms and a bathroom, and comfortably sleeps up to 7.

Walk-out lower level: Completely new throughout and is accessed separately from the main level. Carriage doors let in lots of light and provide a glimpse of Geneva Lake. The snack bar area has a full-size refrigerator, a coffee maker, a microwave, and cabinets for food storage. The bunk room has a cozy seating area with a TV, and 4 twin-size bunkbeds plus a pull-out sofa. There is a full bathroom with a shower, and a laundry room with a washer and a dryer. This level comfortably sleeps up to 5.

A short walk on the Lake Geneva Shore path will take you to the popular Pier 290 restaurant, or continue on to the town of Williams Bay, with more restaurants and a public beach (parking & beach passes are included).

Please note- the house does not have access to a private pier or private park due to a change in our HOA rules. The parts of reviews from 2021 or earlier that mention using a private pier should be disregarded. That said, we are very close to the public beach and provide beach passes and a beach parking permit.

Perfect in Every Way

We rented the house for one month. Our two grown children/spouses and their children (ages 9-16) cycled in and out from the Chicago area as their schedules allowed. It was perfect for the two of us, yet handled three generations nicely. The house is in a great location, one block from Lake Geneva. The neighborhood association has two piers with a raft and diving board that we were able to use. The kids LOVED it. The house has been renovated and is charming, well-appointed, and well-cared for. Large-scaled rooms, high ceilings, dining table for 10 and a large screened in porch that overlooks an association park and has peeks at the lake. Very nicely furnished and comfortable mattresses and linens. A smallish, but nice, kitchen with plenty of dishes/cookware and a Weber gas grill (with extra propane tank) for our use. The house has two-zone central HVAC and we needed it, as it was unusually hot during our visit. Our only issue was that having the oven and burners going and lots of cooks in the kitchen made for some warm dinner prep. The house was stocked with beach towels, chairs, and lake toys for our enjoyment. Our host, Christian, was available and ready and willing to make our stay perfect. The 30-day rental requirement ensures that the neighborhood retains it's character of property owners, not short-term renters. The neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. We rented a boat for two weeks and launched it at the Williams Bay boat launch. When the parking lot was full, one person drove the car and trailer back to the house and walked to the pier while the other brought the boat alongside our pier. Definitely a positive, as parking can be very difficult on the weekends. We were able to change crew at the end of the pier, but were not able to "tie up". This was not a surprise, nor a problem. The terms of "lake use" were clearly spelled out. Actually, due to the "Lake Geneva Chop", as it's called, the lake can get very rough and you wouldn't want to tie up anyway. The driveway easily accommodated the boat trailer and three cars. Just a note - the bunk room is on the home's lower level, which is accessible from the outside only. Our teens LOVED it. They thought of it as their own space and liked getting away from their parents and grandparents at the end of the day. Lots of wonderful memories. Thank you Christian for making your lovely home available to us.

Charming, well-appointed cottage in the perfect location one block from beautiful Lake Geneva

My family stayed for a month at this perfect cottage in July. The location in easy-going Williams Bay and decor reminded me of old-fashion summers spent fishing and swimming and passing time under the sun-kissed sky. We walked everywhere and enjoyed wine tasting and great coffee at the Green Grocer/Steamers, and dinner at the numerous restaurants around the area - Johnathon's on Brick Street in Delavan is excellent. The house has everything you need for hosting family and cooking meals. Plenty of sleeping arrangements for adults and kids - family-friendly! Laundry is located on the lower level. There are 2 refrigerators (1 on the upper level and 1 below). The screened-in porch (view of lake in distance) is lovely with the fan and seating arrangements. Plenty of parking for multiple cars too as we had college-aged kids coming and going. The beach path is lovely and we walked to Fontana one day and around the bay another time. The air-conditioning in July was wonderful too, worked on both levels very well. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful stay at this property. All the rooms were clean and spacious. The WiFi had some issues but were addressed. All in all a great place to rent and I already miss the wildlife that visited each evening.

Quiet, Beautiful, Relaxing

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The home and area were exactly what we were hoping for and needed. This home is comfortable, clean, charming, and in a wonderful location. Plenty of things to do! The kitchen had everything we needed, bedrooms were comfortable, and the lower level provides privacy for additional family members or guests. The owner was extremely responsive and easy to work. We can't wait to come back!

Absolute perfection!

We adored our stay at this beautiful home. So comfortable, spotlessly clean and the perfect location. Full of thoughtful touches like beach towels and bags, beach passes for the summer and even a bottle of champagne on arrival in the fridge. We had the best time and will be back. Spectacular Lakeside Getaway

This place had everything I needed and wanted - easy access to the lake, clean, fully stocked (towels, cutlery, cookware....), very tastefully decorated and the owner was immediately responsive to any issues (i.e. the power went out in the neighbourhood and he followed up on it straight away).

Beautiful area

Great location to enjoy the lake, or go walking in the area with frequent sightings of deer, wild turkeys. The town is also within walking distance to quaint grocery with deli, coffee shop, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend..

The house is well located, has a very nice screened-in room, good lighting and it was extremely clean and comfortable. It has a nice bathroom with plenty of bath towels and supplies. The washer and dryer are new. The kitchen is large and contained more than enough utensils, cooking pots and pans, accessories and a large refrigerator. The downstairs also has an excellent bathroom and another refrigerator. The only minor issue was that there was no interior access from downstairs to upstairs. Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable experience. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Awesome house! Great location!

We were really happy with the house. It had everything we could have needed for our stay and more. Great beach cottage décor and extremely clean and well maintained. Our kids loved the short walk to the pier and we loved that we had a few distant views of the lake from the large screened porch. There is open space next to the house where the kids could play baseball and soccer. Highly recommend!

Adorable house close to the lake

We had a great stay at this renovated vintage home. It is close to the water and we enjoyed swimming off the pier. There is so much to do around the area including walking the shore path, boating and golfing. The giant screened in porch was a favorite for our family to eat breakfast in or read books. The house is next door to a large grassy area and the kids played baseball and badminton there constantly. We frequently saw deer walking around. We were sad to leave and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
