About the property

3 Bedrooms plus a loft, 1 Full, 2 Half Bath, Sleeps 7

Welcome to Skyline View!

My family has been coming to Beech Mountain for over 30 years; we have celebrated many holidays and enjoyed summertime fun in the mountains.

Whatever the season, Beech Mountain offers you an opportunity to create wonderful memories for your family!

This house is a " REAL ROUND HOUSE " with a view of 5 mountain ranges on a clear day.

While watching TV or having breakfast you can enjoy the "Skyline View," seeing the fog roll in and out, or just enjoy the lovely mountain air on a sunny day.

There is a 1/2 bath located upstairs. The loft is located upstairs, and has a twin bed for additional sleeping.

All the bathrooms have been updated recently, and the bedrooms have been given a new look, including all new bedding, for a great night's sleep.

The Kitchen offers a microwave, coffee maker, toaster/oven, stove/oven, and refrigerator. (There is no ice maker- only ice trays- you'll need to bring an extra ice bag if you wish). Kitchen supplies include new cookware, new utensils, new silverware, pots/pans.

Cable and WiFi are included.

As you go down the circular staircase, you can sit in the sitting area and watch TV, or read a book. There are 3 bedrooms located downstairs. There is one full bath/shower bathroom and a 1/2 bathroom. One bedroom has a full sized bed , and one bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has bunk beds. Great for kids. (please note that the lower bunk has low headroom).

The bottom porch wraps halfway around the house for a different view.

You can watch TV and enjoy the view in the living room, which includes a stone fire place. Aside from the house amenities, you can also enjoy the ease of driving to Fred's General Mercantile (very famous) (3.1 miles) , the Ski Village (2.1 miles) or Buckeye Lake Recreation Center (1.3 miles) .

Beech Mountain has a lot to offer; there is always something happening in the area! Some notable events include the Land of Oz's, Autumn at OZ weekend held in September . The annual Woolly Worm Festival held on Oct. 20-21, 2018. There are concerts every Sunday afternoon during the summer at Fred's. June is "Family Fun month" with different events every weekend. The Land of Oz will open once again for their "Journey with Dorothy" event every Friday in June. Tickets will be going on sale soon! Additionally Beech Mountain Resort hosts mountain bike trails and yoga lessons in the summer.

Other attractions are nearby towns of Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock. In Blowing Rock, you can visit the Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park. On Grandfather Mountain you'll find the famous mile high swinging bridge, and the Highland Games, held July 6th-9th. You can also explore the Blue Ridge Parkway; you can drive to Ashville to visit the Biltmore Estate, or hike trails along the parkway. You can enjoy great antiquing, and visit local art shows/festivals.

There is a local property manager who will be able to answer any immediate needs, or you can contact me directly. We will try to answer your questions promptly, and assist you in any way that we can, to make your stay more enjoyable and memorable!

*****In the month of April 2018, a couple of weeks have been blocked off. I will be having some work done in/outside of the house. It's part of the ongoing house maintenance ones needs to keep up with in the mountains. Please keep checking the calendar. It's updated regularly for your next travel stay!

About Diana Moll

We have enjoyed spending our summers at Beech Mountain, as well as some winter days! Our busy schedules do not allow us to go up to Beech Mountain as often as we would like. Hopefully you will enjoy the house and what Beech Mountain and the area has to offer.

Diana Moll purchased this house in 1983

Why Diana Moll chose Beech Mountain

I have been coming up to Beech Mountain with my parents since I was a teenager. My friends and I have such fond memories of visiting Beech Mountain. I hope you will enjoy the beautiful view and mountain air at this home as much as my family and I do.

A great home and awesome views close to all local activities.

12/20 - 23/2017: Thank you for sharing your home with us. The home is wonderful, just the right size for the six of us, close to all the local activities, and the views are incredible. We look forward to coming back in October when the mountain sides are full of the Fall colors, and maybe play some golf at the course. We had a great time and many fun memories snowboarding, zip lining, tubing, ice skating, eating, and being with family.

Fantastic views in a gorgeous locale!

All the comforts of home without the distractions of home! Updated kitchen and baths, cable and wifi and panoramic mountain views were excellent. The linens were alright; if you are particular about your thread count, consider bringing your own (queen size).

Owner's Response: We are so glad to hear that you and your husband enjoyed the house and Beech Mountain. As for the linens they have all been replaced with a hotel collection thread count of 600/680, which I believe will make your sleeping even more enjoyable. Hope that you come back and visit us again! Regards, The Moll Family
