About owner/property manager
When my mother and father purchased this lake front property, we had no water, electricity, bring our own water, lanterns and flash lights. We had to cut a trail to the lake, slept in tents for the first year. Oh the memories. I look back today and think of all the hard work we put into this beautiful pice of land, yes it was worth it. Now we have a chance to share it with the rest of the world, its so peaceful, I love it and thank my parents for bring us up to be hard working citizens. You will absolute love the lake live.
owner/property manager purchased this House in 1977
Why owner/property manager chose Eatonton
This lake is 150,000 acres, 400 miles of shoreline, so it's very hard to be a crowded lake. One of the best kept secrets in GA.

The house was great, clean and very well equipped. The owners checked on us by text message to make sure we were fine with the house and if we needed anything. Our group consisted of 6 men in their mid to late 50's that were hunting and fishing in the area. I would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to get away or just hang out.
We had a great time! The house was great. Large beautiful den and kitchen downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs. We spent most of our time on the first and second story porches. We would definitely rent again and again. The only negative remark would be no running water on the dock. We caught about 75 #s of catfish and needed the water connected to the large sink on dock. Other than that, it was wonderful and Peggy was so nice and helpful! Thank you for letting us rent!!!!!
Thank you Debbie, we are hoping next summer to have running water again on the dock, we have to replace a pipe under the dock. Thank you so much for your review.

A hidden gem on Lake Sinclair
My family and another family recently rented this property from "the sisters" and couldn't have been more pleased. This was their first visit to the lake, but my family has stayed here near Crooked Creek marina many times. Everyone was impressed with the property and how well the residence was furnished. They allowed us the use of their smoker, grills and even their kayaks. We had a covered area for our ski boat and the dock was newly refurbished. We also enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living area and especially the screened in porches. The cove was perfect for our kids to swim and paddlebaird in and the boat ramp was extremely convenient. The walk to the lake is about 350 feet of moderate incline and is gravel/clay which may not be suitable for all guests, but the view is nice and the house is beautifully appointed.
Thank you Marsha, was very pleased to see how you kept up the house and yards, thanks again, hope you will consider us again.
Wonderful up to date home.
Super clean and very responsive home owners. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Thank you Shannon, you and your family kept our place so clean I almost didn't have to clean.
I hope you will be coming back, hopefully by next summer we are going to have the driveway paved and better landscaping.
Thanks again for booking with us,
Peggy and Denise

Tranquil and Perfect in Every Way
I can't say enough about this lake house. It's clear that they took great care in their renovations of the house and were thoughtful in the amenities they added. It has convinced me that we need to look at purchasing one for ourselves!
House is definitely off the beaten path. It will take you about 20 minutes to get back into "town" and we had some struggles with our GPS. Cell signal is also non existent, but their wi-fi worked like a dream. Dock and house are located at the very end of the lake, so boat traffic and people traffic was almost non-existent. They had several amenities available at the dock including two kayaks, floats, and chairs. Additionally, there were multiple swings and two porches to lounge, take a nap, or play games.
Kitchen included just about everything one would need to make dinner and they were thoughtful in leaving spices, staples, etc... We ended up cooking every meal there, and didn't need to buy anything special to accommodate some pretty large and extensive meals. They also have three different grill options, which we took full advantage of.
Special notes - all of the bedrooms are upstairs, and while there are two full baths, one is upstairs and one is downstairs. Worked fine for us, but that may be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.
Don't freak out when you reach the driveway. It's dirt, and after driving some time, I started to wonder if it existed, but all is well. They are clearly doing some renovations on the grounds area, which never bothered us. The price is more than generous. My bigger concern is that once they get it all finished up I won't be able to afford it!
Thank you so much for your review, We try to look at the kitchen and supplies as if we are on vacation. I hate to have to run to the store to get spices, trash bags etc..
thanks again for your review.
