Seaside Cottage a smart little fisherman's cottage in an excellent location just up from the quay in Wells-next-the-Sea and ten minutes from the beach. Boasting marsh and sea views from both bedrooms, this super hideaway also offers a private sunny courtyard garden, an allocated parking space place as well as everything you could possibly need within easy reach right on your doorstep. You are definitely on a winner with Seaside Cottage!

A happy and cherished family home for many years, this delightful Victorian cottage has been beautifully styled with modern interiors. The ground floor comprises of a fabulous fitted kitchen featuring ample work top space and a great selection of appliances, and a comfortable sitting room with quality furniture, easy-on-the-eye decor, and lovely sink-into sofas. The delightful wood burning stove emits extra warmth and ambient light on chillier evenings, making this room a cosy place to relax and unwind after a day of adventures. There are books and games for guests to use. Upstairs on the first floor, two inviting bedrooms with glimpses of the sea are presented (a king-size and a single), each with hotel standard mattresses and a television for wonderfully indulgent, lazy mornings. These rooms are served by a modern bathroom offering bath with shower over.

Outside, the pretty courtyard garden is accessed from the kitchen meaning that al fresco dining from the charcoal barbecue is easy. And, if the nominated chef fancies some time off, you are spoilt for choice with places to eat out, all within easy walking distance. Hire an e-bike from nearby Cockle Bay e-bike hire, or a trail, mountain or kids bike from Wells Bike Hire and spend a day exploring the local area. Just four minutes walk from the cottage is the beautiful Buttlands; an attractive, leafy green square lined with lime trees, and two great gastropubs.

Ideally suited to a couple, a solo traveller or a small family, Seaside Cottage is a lovely little hideaway to escape to at any time of year. Wells-next-the-Sea is deservedly a very popular holiday destination, offering holidaymakers plenty to see and do in all seasons.

FABULOUS COTTAGE

Loved our stay at Seaside Cottage! Everything was clean & tidy. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need even down to lap trays so you can eat in the lounge! The little ambient lights was also another lovely touch! Thank you too for the extra treats! Very nice!

Perfect stay!

We stayed in mid-March 22 and found the cottage to be the perfect base for exploring Norfolk. The cottage was spotless, cosy and welcome gifts much appreciated. The bed was so comfy and the fire was an added bonus. The parking is super easy and easily accessible. We loved Wells too, so many lovely beaches and places to eat. We plan on returning!

Amazing little cottage

It's not often that I am impressed enough to leave a glowing review but this is one of those rare exceptions. The cottage is cosy in size buy spacious enough to not feel cranped. The beds are of a very high comfort which is important to us as a good night's sleep equates to a good break away. The kitchen is probably the best equipped that I have ever encountered so a big tick in the box there. The welcome treats were a welcome addition as well. As Arnold schwarzeneger would say I'll be back

Norfolk break

Seaside Cottage is very conveniently situated close to the harbour in Wells. Although very compact, it is warm and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and there are DVDs if it rains. Watch out for the steep, narrow stairs. I couldn't carry my case up them. The settees are none too comfortable either. Make sure to ask for the car parking spot which is behind the house. We didn't know about it and ended up paying for parking. Overall, we had a lovely stay in Wells.

A modern well equipped cottage, cosy and comfortable and a great location.

We chose this cottage for its location as for us as birdwatchers if provided a great base to go out and explore all the nearby nature reserves. Overall a perfect cottage for us with a lovely modern kitchen, a warm and cosy lounge, spacious bedrooms and bathroom. The whole cottage had a nice modern feel to it. We have stayed in Norfolk a few times and this is the best cottage yet, it was a joy to ‘come home to’ after a full day out birdwatching and walking. I would definitely stay here again.

What a gem!

We loved everything about this cottage. From location, parking facilities and of course the lovely cottage. Beautifully clean. Everything we could have needed. Beds were extremely comfortable. The lovely touch of cookies, wine and milk was greatly appreciated. Many thanks for a wonderful few days away.

Perfect getaway

4 nights New Year. Cosy cottage, clean and near to Quay. Arrival treat, car parking, met lovely owner. Wood fire, very welcome. Had all necessary items for our stay. Absolutely loved it.

Our quick getaway during Covid Pandemic

We booked this cottage last minute for half-term so our 8-year old daughter could have a little break by the sea. When we arrived at the cottage we were delighted with our welcome package of wine, chocolate biscuits and milk. We went out for fish and chips that night as I hadn't made a booking anywhere and a lot of the pubs and restaurants were only taking bookings. When we got back to the cottage we made a lovely log fire which was such a lovely feature. The beds were very comfy and clean and the cottage was immaculate. It was a few minutes walk to the Quayside so we couldn't ask for more. A very nice shower in the bathroom and a very well-equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed our short break in Well Next the Sea.

A fantastic cottage in a great location

We had a great stay in this fantastic cottage. It's in a great location almost next to the harbour. Its own parking spot works perfectly. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need in the kitchen to be able to cook. It's walking distance from lots of places to eat out at or to get take aways. The area, both on the doorstep and further afield, is great for walking and birdwatching.

In keeping with the age of the cottage, the stairs are very steep.
First Floor:

With a 5' king-size bed and a television. Sea views.

With a 3' single bed and a television. Sea views. Bathroom

With bath, shower over with rainfall shower head, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Outside:

Enclosed courtyard garden with garden furniture and charcoal barbecue.
Private parking space for one car. There is a 2.2m height restriction to get into the car park. QR Code provided within the property for guests to park in the reserved car parking space only.
There is right of way access to the neighbouring property via the courtyard/garden, but this should not impair your enjoyment of the cottage.
The owners of the property have provided a number of crabbing ('gillying') as the Wells locals call it) buckets, nets and lines in a closed wooden box to the side of the garden shed.
