Lovely villa in quiet location

We loved our stay at maria beach house. Having the remetzo village next door and being able to use their facilities was a bonus. We loved the restaurant and ate there several times. The staff were all very friendly. The villa is very comfortable and looked after wonderfully well by the cleaning staff. Fresh towels daily and new sheets regularly. The aircon was particularly good, but the Wi-Fi was very poor. It was non existent when the doors were closed and aircon on. The pool was cleaned daily and the path from the villa goes to the beach. The path is pretty hazardous tbh but you can go a longer way round which is flatter. The downside we found was that from around 5pm there was no shade whatsoever, and as it was 33 degrees in June, we were unable to bear sitting outside at all, which was a shame.The Greek supermarket 10 minutes away was very good as were the local tavernas at Vatsa. We used the excellent ferry from lixouri the Argostoli and were blown away by its efficiency. We booked with Agni travel who are excellent and would return. The Wi-Fi was the one thing that would put us off.

The beach house is overall nice, as described in the listing, I believe that it was not mentioned that the upper bedroom is not separated but rather a loft, that could make a difference for a larger group. Location indeed very close to the see, hotel pool and restaurant which was great (restaurant surprisingly good!). hotel staff very friendly and helpfull at all times. A big disappointment was the quality of wifi - this property should not be advertised as having one - there is none in the house and limited on the terrace, this has impacted our stay negatively- the baby camera did not work and I could not work properly. I would have expected better at a property in this price range.

Maria Beach House matches all our wants and wishes and we are glad that we stayed there for our holiday. The exterior space is really beautiful and private. The outside area was well planned with an amazing swimming pool. The location was great, within walking distance of the beach. The nearby taverna was nice too. We tried some of the best Greek specialties there. Thank you to the agents, owner, and cleaning staff, who made our holiday unforgettable.

Very comfortable and relaxed holiday, exactly what we needed. The villa was clean and the service was excellent. We were so lucky to have such a wonderful outside area with a private pool!!! We also visited Argostoli, an amazing city where we try some of the best Greek specialties. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to anyone.

Maria Beach House was a little piece of heaven. The villa was perfectly located and of a high standard. The appliances are all new and in excellent condition. Most of our time we spend around the pool or on the beach, which is just 100 meters from the villa. Relaxing, sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, etc. I highly recommend this villa for your next holiday!

Perfect for a tranquil break and relaxation. It is very cozy and well-equipped. The beds were comfy. There is a surrounding wide terrace which was great for dining and for watching the sunset. The nearby taverna was excellent. If you are looking for a quiet restful holiday in a private villa with a sea view then this is the place for you! All in all very pleased and will definitely book it again.

Absolutely brilliant

We loved our stay here, very peaceful, wonderful villa with great facilities, incredible view and sunset. Very comfy beds and nice chilled beach bars available.

Maria Beach House is a wonderful villa in a most fantastic position. The beach is quiet and the waters clear and blue where you can spend hours snorkelling. There are some fabulous tavernas within walking distance including Captain Nicholas which is well worth visiting. Everybody you meet are most welcoming and go the extra mile in everything they do from serving great food to helping with any questions you have. We very much enjoyed our holiday day and hope to return to this beautiful place one day.

It’s our fourth or fifth visit so it’s clear we love it here! Excellent location, staff are lovely , always friendly and welcoming and happy to help. We need to work while we are at the villa and so wi fi is essential for us and this year it seemed to be weaker than usual and made work difficult . But this is the only minor issue we had . Apart from that it was all good.

All the people at Remetzo were extremely pleasant and helpful. It was wonderful that towels were changed every day and that bedding was also changed during our stay. Special thanks to both Elenis (chef and cleaner). Such lovely people and so accommodating. This was our second visit to Vrahinari and we shall definitely be back. Wonderful location for those of us who don't want an over-commercialised holiday but with all the facilities on hand.
