Casa 141 is almost a fairy-tale cottage; it is immediately identifiable by its charming Mediterranean blue, beach-style shutters.
Once inside you’ll find that Casa 141 is modern and airy, it has everything you need to take full advantage of its spectacular location which is just a few minutes’ walk from the Ocean. The two-storey 4 bedroomed beach house is simple yet luxurious, floors are covered in cool regional tiles and the sisal carpets in the living area complement rustic lime washed wood. For visitors that come during the winter months we have underfloor heating which turns the beach house into a cosy cottage. Comfy sofas with plump patterned cushions set the neural palette, and the living area opens up onto the shaded terrace, bringing the outside in. The fully equipped, white and granite kitchen on the ground floor is both contemporary and compact, with traditional cabinets and full amenities. A utility room with washing and drying facilities is hidden from view next to the kitchen.
There is one bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower on the ground floor; while upstairs there are a further 2 bedrooms which also have their own en-suite bathroom with shower. A smaller guest room, with separate bathroom is ideal for singles or children. All bedrooms retain the neutral colour scheme with splashes of greens and blues, two of the en-suite bedrooms have twin beds, one has a double, and all bedrooms have air conditioning.
On the shady terrace to the rear you can cook up local seafood or juicy steaks on the barbeque and help yourself to Kumquats straight from the tree to give a zesty finish to salads. Morning coffee can be taken on the front terrace where you can greet other holiday makers as they pass by. Set the mood with your favourite music from your iPad and Bluetooth speaker, and stay connected and comfortable with the free wi-fi. There is also a comfortable terrace at the top of the house where you can relax on loungers to catch the sun, see the ocean and appreciate the views over the village with the beautiful trees and gardens.
Lazy afternoons here can be spent reading on any of the terraces, taking a nap or back inside watching your favourite English TV channels. Sky Sports is also available via internet with free and fast WIFI supporting any number of devices. The house has an alarm system and a safe for peace of mind when leaving for the beach or sightseeing trips.
Strolling to the beach and Praça takes just five minutes, and the clubhouse and reception, with its small arcade of shops and Spike’s Bar & Restaurant, 10 minutes.
