Quinta do Lago is the most exclusive golf and beach development in Portugal and rivals any resort in the world. It consists of 4 golf courses, salt water lake, bird sanctuary and a wonderful natural sandy beach (no buildings), golf, tennis, riding, sailing,windsurfing , water activities for children are on the doorstep, great shopping at the entrance to Quinta do Lago and a tremendous choice of really good restaurants ,cafe/bars plus top class night club. Amazing location

As regulars to QDL, this villa is in a prime location - overlooking the 6th tee on the south course. Whilst the villa maybe in need of an aesthetic update, you can’t deny the position, size and location for the money. Would happily book again.

Lovely comfortable villa with a great pool and garden with views to the golf course

Amazing stay . The house is larger than the pictures appear and the pool is a good size and warm when heated. The garden provided a great space for the kids to run around and you felt like there was not any other people around at all! It was quiet , tranquil and relaxing but close to the shopping centre and restaurants . Very easy to get to from the airport , taking just 25 minutes . We felt this was great value for money given the area and was perfect for a family holiday. The owner David was super helpful in advance which we appreciated- thank you.

Good location - problems with bathrooms, bedding etc

Good location. Information on who was staying not listened to as baby not catered for on arrival. Cleaners over ran by almost two hours and if we hadn’t arrived whilst they were still there would not have had cot bedding. Bathrooms dated and damp/mouldy which lead to damp bedrooms and beds/bedding - didn’t appear to be aired

Great family Villa

The villas location is fantastic in Quinta da lago , the pool is wonderful , instructions to Villa and collection of the keys was really easy . We had a fabulous holiday at your amazing villa , thank you . The weather was very hot - hit 36 degrees so ideally it would have been good to have air conditioning in the whole Villa rather than just the bedrooms but maybe we had an unusually hot week . Also we weren’t sure what to do with the recycling as there were no instructions but we had a fantastic holiday so thank you very much

Stunning

having stayed in numerous villas across portugal, this has to be the most perfect of them all, the views are amazing over the golf course and in no way do you feel like you are being watched as the course is not over played and the golfers dont really care, the villa itself had everything we needed for a relaxing 6 days lying by the pool with the sun on us all day at a lovely 36 degrees, the pool is clean and very warm with the sun on it even at night it was still warm enough to swim at midnight. the villa is spotlessly clean, with a nice central hob, big fridge, plenty of space to entertain and they even had good old British tv and sky sports which was a real bonus watching Liverpool beat united. the villa owner david is a real pleasure to deal with, there was great communication every step of the way even recommending some lovely restaurants for us to dine at. the villa is very easy to find following davids directions and quinta da lago is wonderful some great shops within 10 minute walk away, I recommend this villa very highly as it is in such a beautiful area of portugal

Charming family Villa in an amazing location

We have just returned from a week stay at Casa Seletar. The location of this wonderful holiday home is exceptional and secluded, overlooking the 6th tee of the Quinta South golf course. David had communicated with us explaining the villa was on split level so the two year olds we had with us were warned constantly. They loved the garden where they played frisbee before bed. The house is much bigger than we had envisaged and there are three terraces upstairs where we sat and had morning coffee. Everything was clean and the swimming pool sparkled, we all enjoyed a few swims during the day and the outside lights that came on were great for evening swims . There were plenty of sunbeds for us all to relax on and the outside dining was perfect for breakfast and dinner. There is a 10 minute walk to The Campus where we played Padel tennis and hired bikes. There is even a playground for the little ones. It’s close to Quinta shopping for dinner and the amazing restaurants around. (Bold Octopus a must!) Bamboo also great atmosphere.The shack down on the lake is a 25 minute walk but does great cocktails, snacks and reasonably priced meals and has live music on a Thursday afternoon. With its location and all the other exclusive villas close by, this is great value for money. Maybe the shower rooms are a little dated, but we would return tomorrow!! Thank you so much for a very memorable Family stay

5 STAR - OUTSTANDING

For us, hiring a holiday villa through Owners Direct was a 'leap of faith' since we had never done it before. Having established contact with the owner, we were immediately reassured. The administration, key collection and other necessary instructions were all really clear - along with the kind recommendations for 'what to do and where to go locally' which was a great help. The villa is located in a stunning and secluded spot, set amongst some of the most exceptional real estate in the Algarve. A dream 'home from home' really - everything you need for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay - we could not have asked for more. An outstanding area, a lovely residence and all within easy reach of shops, restaurants and having the ocean nearby (and the welcome Atlantic breeze in the afternoons) as well as the salt water lake where there is lots to do including sailing, wind surfing and fishing - that's the icing on the cake! Highly recommended and an outstanding place to stay - we will be back.
