Authentic log cabin, 100 years old with all modern amenities, 2 miles from downtown Dubois. Walk 50 yards from the front door to excellent trout fishing on a private stretch of the Wind River. Or make a fire in the fire pit right on the river. Your only company will be the horses in the pasture next door and the occasional visit from Canada Geese, Sandhill Cranes, Bald Eagles, a fox and of course many mule deer. Whether you fancy a museum-led petroglyph trek, a trail ride into the Badlands, or hiking views of the glaciers and unpopulated paths through forest to waterfalls—Dubois has them all.

Cabin was roomy and very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for eating in. Good restaurants in town (two miles away). Best part was sitting on the deck, enjoying the Wind River and the three friendly horses next door.
Great place to relax, go hiking, or travel to the national parks.
Our stay at this cabin was wonderful! The cabin was cozy, the washer and dryer were handy, the wood stove was toasty, and the river made the picture perfect. The bathroom was small, but we had plenty of hot water and soft towels. Most of all, our hosts, Eleanor and Andy, were two of the most friendly and helpful people I've ever met!
Great place to stay in close proximity to the Teton National Park but away from the crowds.
We enjoyed staying at this cozy cabin. It had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed giving the horses treats and sitting out on the deck after a day at the park listening to the sounds of the river.
Excellent get away
Nice little cabin by the river. One of the best things was having the very hospitable owners right next door! Very nice people and really accommodating to make the stay as great as possible.
Decently equipped kitchen with just about all the cooking utensils you will need. If not, just ask and they will help.
beautiful property in quiet setting
We really enjoyed this property and all that it has to offer. We enjoyed the fire pit, the river, (the owners even left a few fishing poles in the gazebo for us) and the horses next door were very sweet. It was a great place to come back to after exploring the area all day. We really enjoyed kayaking and exploring at whiskey basin, not to mention the Tetons and Yellowstone. There was plenty of room for the 2 of us, but this cabin would also be perfect for a family with kids. Thank you again for sharing your cabin with us!
great time at this cabin.
We had a great time in this cabin, we had everything we needed, the cabin is cozy and well located. We loved the horses, the river, the tire swing, the nice back yard and the scenery. A big, BIG plus is the wi fi. The owners were very nice and helpful.
