Charming Authentic Log Cabin, Nestled Along The Bank Of The Wind River

Bedrooms 1
Space 700 sq ft
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

Cabin, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath (Sleeps 6)

Comfy retreat 2 miles from downtown Dubois. Walk 50 yards from the front door to excellent trout fishing on a private stretch of the Wind River. Or make a fire in the fire pit right on the river, lighting the heater in the gazebo if needed. Your only company will be the horses in the pasture next door.

The cabin has a queen sized bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa pull-out in the living room, as well as a brand new IKEA double sofa bed in the kitchen/dining room. This is very comfortable sleeping for 3 people, but adaptable for up to 6. Be aware that the bathroom enters through the bedroom, so although the cabin is roomy with 750 square feet, you won't get much privacy from the other sleepers.

Dubois, Wyoming Cabin

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was very well located on the Wind River. It was a short hour drive to the Teton National Park and about an hour and a half to Yellowstone National Park. Dubois is very friendly and warm town.

Wonderful Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was the perfect place to stay for the solar eclipse. It was exactly as pictured. The cabin is very clean and comfortable, including the bed. Everythng you could possibly need was provided - lots of towels, makeup mirrors, condiments and sundries in the kitchen, even two jean jackets for the chilly evenings. Because of the eclipse crowding at the restaurants, the very responsive owners even left us some breakfast items, and a pie from the Cowboy Cafe, (just in case we couldn't get in to try it)!

The river and fire pit provided lots of relaxing interest and we fell in love with the three horses next door.

The drive to town is just a few minutes away, as well as a scenic drive above town into the badlands.

We were so fortunate that all the hotels were booked and we found this charming getaway.
