Lovely spacious cottage with everything you need.
Lovely spacious cottage with everything you need. Location for places and walks is excellent. Clean airy and comfortable with quality equipment. Views are amazing from all angles, quiet and little road noise even though being close to the A1. Within easy reach of Berwick, Bamburgh and Alnwick and Holy Island is walkable.

The location for us was perfect as we like being rural.
The location for us was perfect as we like being rural. The views are amazing. That said there is a nice pub and well stocked shop within walking distance but you do have to cross the A1 Good walks from the door but it’s a great location to visit the beautiful beaches and countryside The property is warm, cosy and comfortable. The garden is well secure for most dogs although the owners did warn us the wall is jumpable which I would have appreciated if I had an escape artist. Communication with the owners was great. All together a lovely property in a great area with nice owners.

Had a temporary problem with the heating and unable to get a response from the agency, hence the good not excellent for comfort and equipment. However the owner was straight on to it and had a plumber/engineer visit to resolve it the next day. Cannot fault the owner; she kept me updated throughout. The cottage is lovely, the log burner was essential, and great to come back to after a day out walking. Well equipped, although we mostly ate out, it had all that was necessary to cook a full meal I've required. Great views over to the coast.

Bramble Barn is a really lovely cottage, just across the A1 at the bottom of the road and you are on the causeway road that leads to Lindisfarne causeway. It is a really comfortable place to stay, well equipped just bring food. There is a lovely surprise when you walk into the living room, just look out and see what you can see.
We spent a week at Bramble Barn and found it to be a great base to explore Northumbria from. We have a lovely time and would go back.
