The Creamery is a Grade ll listed home resting in Nympsfield sleeping four people in two bedrooms.
The Creamery is a charming Grade ll listed, 17th century cottage, enjoying a peaceful setting on the edge of the unspoilt village of Nympsfield. The Creamery is the ideal country retreat for a family or for a group of friends who are looking for a relaxing break in the South Cotswolds. Be greeted by two off-road parking spaces, as you unload your luggage in through the front door where you will find all the rooms on the ground–floor have warming underfloor heating. The door opens into the spacious kitchen/diner, that boasts charming features including exposed stone, an arrow slit window and the exposed brickwork of the original bread oven, where you can make use of the contemporary appliances to rustle up heart-warming meals, and gather around the wooden dining table to dig into your feast and toast to the start of your wonderful holiday. A continuation of the kitchen lies a utility room with extra storage and a washing machine, as well as a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Retreat to the stunning dual aspect sitting room to relax with your loved ones, surrounded by exposed beams, exposed stone walls, exposed brickwork from another bread oven and original flagstone flooring, where you can watch your favorite TV show on the Smart TV, as the wood burning stove creates a warming ambience in the entire room. When the night draws to a close, two elegant bedrooms sit upstairs; the first hosts a king-size bed with lovely views across the garden and towards the church and has an en-suite bathroom with an inviting freestanding bath, and separate walk-in shower. The second room contains a super-king-size bed (TWIN BED ON REQUEST), overlooking the barn opposite, complete with striking exposed beams, and an en-suite shower room with a large walk-in rain shower. Catch the morning sunrise in the attractive enclosed garden that sits at the front of the property and enjoys views of the neighboring farmland and parish church. Be sure to make use of the charcoal barbecue in warmer months, perfect for alfresco dining!. Please Note Saturday or Sunday checkin/checkout.

Town: The former mill town of Nailsworth lies in the beautiful wooded Stroud Valley with events and festivals announced by the local Town Crier. It offers numerous high quality shops, a delicatessen, two butchers, an award-winning organic cafe, restaurants, art and antique galleries and a farmers’ market. Close by are Badminton and Gatcombe Park, famous for their horse trials, the historic wool village of Painswick and High Grove in royal Tetbury. The area offers many lovely walks including the 105 mile Cotswold Way with some of the most beautiful scenery in the country and the many walks around Westonbirt Arboretum which also hosts many concerts, festivals and plays. The Gothic Woodchester Manor is well worth a visit as is the ancient market town of Minchinhampton with its weekly market held in the 17th century Market House, numerous individual shops, antique shops, traditional pubs and cafes. Nearby, Minchinhampton, Rodborough and Selsley Commons, managed by the National Trust, cover over 500 acres and offer far-reaching 360 degree views, ideal for walkers and cyclists. They are also home to three 18 hole golf courses and the historic Winstones Ice Cream Factory. The waterfront city of Gloucester, with its Victorian Docklands, is just a short drive away, whilst the town of Cirencester, known as 'The Gateway to the Cotswolds' offers many ancient buildings and museums, and the spa town of Cheltenham boasts Georgian architecture and the Gold Cup horse race. A perfect base for enjoying this unspoilt part of England.
