Spacious and comfortable, detached, self-catering lodge with free WiFi, in rural idyll, on the North Coast 500 route
2 bedrooms set up as 1 X Double & 1 x Twin
(can arranged as 2 doubles - cost £30) sleeps 4 persons, kitchen, bathroom. living/dining room leading onto private balcony.
Lodges 1, 2 & 4 have a shower over bath, with excellent mains water pressure
Lodges 3 & 5 with walk in showers (no bath)
All Lodges have dishwashers
Own parking and garden, including picnic table and bird feeder.

Well spaced, with mature trees and shrubs creating privacy.

Westerly aspect for viewing wonderful sunsets.

Very comfortable lodge

We enjoyed our stay in this area, there is so much to do! Walking along the beaches, making a boattrip, visiting the Gairloch museum (surprisingly beautiful). We could recommend the Achtercairn Archeology Trail, the description of this walk is available in the museum.

Calm and lonelyness 👌

This place is absolutely perfect. Emma is great and manage lodge with smile and enthousiasm. From the lodge we find nature with birds, rabbits, does, wind, loch and sun set! The view of the garden is sweet and comfort of salon or bedroom are really great. Emma : change nothing please ! ;)

Ein sehr hübsches und gemütliches Häuschen in schöner Lage. Die Eigentümerin Emma ist jederzeit ansprechbar und hat uns mit frischen Hühner- und Enteneiern versorgt. Diese Unterkunft kann ich jedem empfehlen!

Pure relaxation

Wonderful lodge and surrounds contributing to a very relaxing holiday. Well equipped with thoughtful extra touches like the automatic Hall light and fresh flowers on the table. Thank you, we hope to come back another time.

tot in de puntjes verzorgt, zeer goed uitgerust, van alle gemakken voorzien huisje.Prachtige omgeving, heel rustig. Wat wil een mens nog meer.

A pretty, very well appointed cottage in a tranquil setting with helpful owner and lovely views.

We were very happy with the location and style of this holiday rental. It is much larger inside than first outside appearances! Inside, the cook will find everything needed to care for their party and little helpful touches add to a sense of welcome to the visitor. The house was very comfortable with TV including DVD player very handy to entertain my little ones when the weather disappointed. We were very impressed at how clean and warm the property was and how little things made the stay so comfortable. I would definitely recommend this lovely cottage to friends Thanks for a most enjoyable stay!

Schönes Ferienhaus, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, bequeme Betten, nette Vermieterin!

Wir waren in Lodge Nr.5 mit unseren Kindern (3 & 7) und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und dass sie heizbar waren, war die ersten Tage auch sehr angenehm. Die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir zum Kochen und backen brauchten. Emma ist sehr freundlich und hatte immer Zeit, um unsere Fragen zu beantworten und uns Ausflugstips zu geben. Die Taverne in Aultbea ist zu empfehlen und der Shop hat tatsächlich alles gehabt, was wir benötigten. Wir haben schon einige Ferienwohnungen gemietet, aber das Lodge 5 in Aultbea ist mit Abstand das Beste gewesen.

Fantastic

The Lodge was tastefully furnished, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds and quality bedding. I cannot fault the Lodge in anyway and would certainly recommend to others. The location was ideal and Poolewe and Gairloch are within easy reach.

Birds Paradise

Schönes Cottage in herrlich ruhiger, aussichtsreicher Lage inmitten vielfältiger Vogelwelt. Die Hütten sind durch Sträucher und Bäume gut separiert sowie mit Terasse, Picknickbank, Rasen und eigenem Parkplatz versehen. Von der Ausstattung her ist alles modern, freundlich und praktisch eingerichtet und ohne separate Strom-/Nebenkosten. Auch die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die Warmwasserversorgung funktioniert und die Betten sind bequem. Die eingebauten Heizdecken muß man ja nicht nutzen. Einziger Wermutstropfen sind die typisch britischen Soft-Sitzmöbel, in denen man buchstäblich versinkt. Bei sonnigem Wetter heizt sich der Wohnbereich mit seiner großen Fensterfront trotz zugezogener Vorhänge schnell auf. Wegen der Mückenplage während unseres Aufenthaltes im warmen, sonnigen und windarmen Juni mußten wir die Fenster und Türen jedoch meist geschlossen halten. Alles in Allem jedoch eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für schottische Verhältnisse.
