Property is wonderfully presented and location within St Davids is central. No problem with parking. Everything you need for a comfortable break is thoughtfully supplied. Very comfy beds. Would definitely book again.
Perfect location in the heart of St David’s. Ideal for exploring on foot. We parked the car and didn’t move it for three days. We walked to and from the coastal path, visited The Bishops a few times, as well as the stunning Cathedral.
Lovely property, comfortable (very warm!) beds, very well located in town centre. If you are staying in winter take a torch as the front door doesn’t have an outside light.
Matt's place is very comfortable and well located. We rented the large upstairs unit even though there were only two of us. We appreciated being able to walk easily to restaurants, we REALLY appreciated having a parking spot, and having a clothes washer was a godsend. Matthew was very responsive, and left us some nice things. Fantastic host and property, I would recommend it and St. David to anyone.

Fab house in great location in the heart of st David’s
Loved our half term holiday here - especially working our way through the ice cream flavours from the gelato shop around the corner 😀
Contrary to a previous review, if you are taking both properties with maximum people and want to try and get everyone around the table to eat, it isn’t really doable. We ended up doing 2 sittings as the larger kitchen is very tight and involves a lot of team work as one person moves their chair to fill the dishwasher and another shifts to get the food out of the oven.
But we managed and the rest of the house is spacious, very comfy beds and well appointed.

Each apartment caters for the number of guests it can accommodate, the ground floor apartment seats 4 and the maisonette seats 6-8. We've never advertised that the kitchen in the maisonette can accommodate 10-12 around it's dining table, however we've just replaced the dining table in the larger ground floor apartment, with one that extends to sit 8-10 adults, possibly 12 if children. This hopefully means that there's now plenty of space for everyone to dine together should both apartments be booked as one.
We felt completely looked after during our stay at 31a. Welcomed warmly by Matthew. Helpful tips for walking and eating. Lovely treats in the welcome pack. Great care and kindness when we stupidly locked ourselves out. Beautiful apartment in fabulous location. Parking was not outside, but within a stone's throw, and there was one hour stay parking outside to load and unload. We had two teenagers with us, so it was great to be so central allowing independent decisions. Moreover, the two sitting rooms meant that we could relax in sitting room one without having to endure Love Island, which was showing in sitting room two ;) We would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you.
A short walk from all the amenities and very close to the supermarket. Free parking a couple of minutes away in a dedicated James property parking area. Though it is on one of the main routes into town the road is a narrow one way street so traffic doesn't go so fast. Noise not a problem - certainly in the bedrooms at the back where both couples slept. The house dates from Edwardian times and is decorated in Edwardian colours. Stylish, but it does make some of the apartment rather dark. Kitchen large and bright however, with a lovely large table and plenty of good quality cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery and glasses. Overall there is a touch of shabby chic about the place, and the bathroom/shower-rooms while completely adequate are a bit outdated. The upstairs shower in particular is a very gentle and skittish affair. But the really important things are excellent and our bed (the top double) was really comfortable with proper cotton sheets etc and a mattress topper (and I speak as a particularly picky sleeper). In summary perhaps all I need to say is' Would I book it again? Definitely yes'.
We had an absolutely fantastic time and the house is just gorgeous and very well equipped. It’s decorated wonderfully and absolutely loads of room for 7 of us!
Clean, comfortable, well equipped apartment. It's in an ideal location in the heart of St David's. There were five of us but it would comfortably accommodate seven. The photos give an accurate impression of the place. We would happily stay again. We loved the Pembrokeshire coast.
Matthew was a friendly and helpful host, even if we didn't get to meet him in person, owing to the strange times in which we live.
Loved the flat! Perfect central location and surrisingly large. Extra TV playroom a real hits with the children, and great to have a space for grown ups vs kids. Definitely recommended!
We spent a fabulous 4 nights here & enjoyed every minute. Brilliantly located in central St David’s - 1 minute walk to the supermarket and park, both of which extremely handy with 4 small children. A short stroll away from the shops and restaurants, which were mostly closed due to covid, but we had some great takeaways a stones throw away from the apartment. The apartment is really spacious and stylishly decorated. Excellently stocked kitchen, soft comfortable beds and a really helpful large stock of good quality towels. A short 5 min drive away is Whitesands beach, and the beautiful coastal path. All in all we had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to book again for this summer!
Thank you for a wonderful stay, Matt!
A perfect spot for a weekend break in St David's, a very high standard property set in the heart of this gorgeous City . Well equipped, spotlessly clean and Matthew our host could not do enough for us. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. I would have no hesitation in recommending this fabulous apartment which is enormous ! Thanks Matthew.
Great period town house has plenty of room ideal for family or friend groups. Good central position for the shops restaurants and Cathedral of St David's.
The property is beautifully decorated and furnished. A very relaxing stay with plenty of space for adults and teenagers. Close to shops and restaurants and beaches. Ideal!
Lovely apartment set over 2 floors. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of good quality utensils, crockery and pans. Attention to detail in the bedrooms and lounges were fab. Local to pubs, shops and plenty of walks. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and will return.
Matthew is a great host and gives good communication.
We had a long stay over the new year period. The house is within walking distance of the centre of St David's.
We had 4 children with us and there is plenty of space for them to not be heard and do their own thing in the house. Several of the rooms aren't shown on the photos so it was a pleasant surprise to see the property is bigger than expected.
The kitchen is really well equipped.
Beds are very comfy and it is nice to have the two separate lounge areas.
Great base for exploring this part of Wales.
Whitesands beach isn't too far away.
Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful and spaceous
We had a great stay in St Davids. The house was immaculate, stylish, well equipped and very spacious. The location is central but quiet.Matthew was helpful and always prompt to respond to any queries. The cliff path and local bay is only a 15 minute walk away, and Whitesands Bay a 5 minute drive.

Good for a family group getaway
Property as described plenty of room with two lounges the TV being in the attic lounge and large family bathroom the other more of an ensuite shower room to the attic double with distant sea view. Wifi was a bit hit and miss. On main road into city but not overly noisy and handy for all local amenities on foot. Note there is no onsite parking the dedicated parking is about 200yds up the road behind the supermarket and is shared with other uses of properties owned by the company on street parking was easy but then it was low season overall good experience and provision of xmas decorations a nice touch

Great place to stay right in the centre of St David's
This was our second stay at 31a. The house is very well located. Matthew was very helpful and made sure we were happy with everything before leaving us to enjoy our stay. The house is well kitted out and - best of all - has the most fantastic view of the coast from the top bedroom window.

Unexpected treasure
We booked late and as we were travelling with our dog we weren't sure what to expect. Places aren't always quite as they seem in the pictures. This place was awesome however. The children loved the special tv room on the top floor and the grown-ups certainly appreciated the quiet lounge. The kitchen was well equipped and linens were spotlessly clean. Communication with the host was perfect and incredibly friendly. The property is only 5 minutes from the Nisa supermarket and another 5 minutes (if that) from town in the other direction. It was also handy to have residents parking a few minutes walk away. There are some stunning beaches a short drive away and a fun Bug Farm 1 mile up the road (where you can have bugs in your lunch!). If you're there in Summer don't miss the Dusty Knuckle pop-up pizza shack and the hipster coffee van at the end of the road. Dogs might also appreciate the special dog ice-cream at the ice-cream parlour. St Davids isn't a big place but it's full of charm and we will definitely be back.

A comfortable, well-equipped apartment in the heart of St Davids
The apartment is a comfortable and relaxing base in the heart of the cathedral city. Matthew the owner, has thought of everything that you might need to enjoy your stay and more besides. The house has been sympathetically renovated and retains much of its Edwardian charm whilst providing all modern conveniences. Beds and bedding are of the highest quality and so comfortable. The arrangement of rooms and generous proportions made it ideal for our multi-generational holiday - plenty of spaces to be together and separate!. The kitchen is equipped for whatever cooking you might wish to do - Christmas dinner for five was a doddle - and the local produce inspires you to cook.
Matthew answered all pre-holiday queries with a genuine desire to help and make our Christmas holiday in St Davids memorable. A warm and generous greeting shortly after arrival - along with a Christmas tree and decorations - made us feel incredibly welcome and relaxed in the apartment.
The surrounding area speaks for itself - beautiful city, cathedral and coastline makes repeat visits a must. We will certainly use the apartment again.

Great property with loads of space
We had a great time at Bryn Sion (31a New Street). The house was well-looked after and clean. There was so much space, including two sitting rooms. Great for groups with kids.
The house is very central and close to all the local amenities in St David's - the supermarket and playground are just down the road and the centre of St David's, including the cathedral, shops and pubs, just a couple of minutes walk. Also the views from the top of the house all the way to the coast are amazing.
Matthew, the owner, was very helpful and answered all our questions promptly. We even had a great welcome pack of locally made brownies and marmalade.
