Beautiful property, nicely furnished and well appointed. Well located for nearby coast and day trips but, despite the lovely peace and quiet it’s not too remote. Paul was ready with a welcome and helpful suggestions for food. We loved our stay!

Beautiful bungalow gorgeous surroundings. Our son loved collecting apples and chatting with the sheep. The owners were exceptionally helpful including their daughter.

Fantastic stay. The place was so comfortable and luxurious. Kitchen really well equipped. The views from all the rooms were amazing, watching the sheep in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Super comfortable beds, fluffy towels. Comfy sofas. Garden really beautiful and private. Paul, the owner was great and popped in to say hello when we arrived, told us lots of local places to visit. Would definitely recommend.

Idyllic place, comfortable, and warm. The hosts made a big effort; and on arrival we were greeted by a real Christmas Tree and fresh flowers. My mother, who likes gardening, liked the fig tree outside the bathroom window and the flower beds outside the house. The kitchen is excellent. It was fantastic at Christmas so I imagine it would be superb in summer. Thanks Paul.

Short break to visit family

What can I say, a truly exceptional property in a great location. Property very clean, well maintained and had everything that we needed and I would have no hesitation in recommending it. Would also recommend the nearby Greendale farm shop as a really good place to eat!

A Beautiful Base

What an amazing property, so beautiful and comfortable. Lovely views from each of the windows and if you're lucky you may get a visit from the local chickens, which we townies loved.A property that is finished to high standard, maintained and furnished beautifully. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property a coin's toss from all the best local spots

Paul and Anna were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and gave us a ton of great recommendations and advice, so we were never short of ideas for stuff to do or even places to go and get the groceries in. The property itself is beautiful though - incredible views of the sunset and you can tell they've spent a lot of time and care to make the whole place comfortable and relaxing. In short, great hosts and the perfect spot for our first little family holiday!

One of the best places that I visited in UK

One of the most beautiful places that I visited in UK, with an outstanding view and proper country side feeling. I cannot recommend enough this property and the owners. They made the process so easy and a very professional and kind approach with us to all means. Lovely cabin and all equipments and resources that you would need for any activity.

Perfect respite stay

We loved our stay at the bungalow and would definitely come back again. Paul is an excellent host, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The place itself is a perfect home away from home with everything you need to get by, including a great selection of cooking equipment which we really benefitted from, and a lovely bath for after a long day. The location is fab, peaceful and tucked away enough with the fun of saying hi to the sheep when having your morning brew, whilst also being able to pop into central Exeter quickly and easily, and having access to the excellent farm shop up the road. The cherry on top was the spectacular sunsets every evening which the bungalow has front row seats for. Highly recommend, thanks for having us Paul x

Stunning property in a wonderful location

From the moment we arrived, with a warm welcome, we loved this cosy but luxurious lodge. The property was well equipped with all this things you could need including a well met chilled bottle of Prosecco. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful with local knowledge and recommendations. The view from the lodge was stunning, with the sheep field directly in front which lead to sprawling country vista. The location was ideal too, with plenty to do all within a short drive. This lodge is perfect for those who want to get away from it all, whilst still being able to get into the thick of it, should they want to. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back soon.
