London Getaway based in Kensington
Great location of a nice apartment in Kensington. We based from this apartment for a 4-day getaway to London and found the property clean and comfortable. The property management company was very easy to communicate with and we were quite happy with our stay - to the point that we would return when we visit London again.
The apartment was adequately appointed: each room had basic supplies for a short stay, was simple but adequate, and comfortable enough. The street location and building were quiet - a bonus for sleeping in the city! And the neighborhood was very safe. We found it easy to travel throughout the city by bus and by underground; bus stops were within a 5 minute walk, and there are many underground stations nearby. The nearest station is Kensington-Olympia, however, this station only operates on weekends and holidays (something we didn't understand before traveling, but easily worked around once we grasped the situation.)
Check-in was a little tricky because although we had the address of the 'key nest' (a small convenience store), we had some difficulty finding it on our first evening in the rain. Once located, we were fine. As stated earlier, we would return to this apartment on a future visit.
