Villa Vela es una villa extraordinaria ubicada en Playa Blanca en Lanzarote

Villa Vela tiene una piscina privada, una parcela privada de 200 metros cuadrados, 3 dormitorios, el dormitorio principal con una cama doble, un segundo dormitorio con otra cama doble y el tercer dormitorio con 2 camas individuales con un total de 2 baños. Villa Vela también cuenta con sala de estar con acceso directo a la zona de la piscina, televisión , wifi, aparcamiento privado, cocina totalmente equipada y zona de comedor.

La costa alrededor de Playa Blanca es esencialmente una gran bahía de 9 kilómetros de ancho que luego se divide en tres bahías más pequeñas, pero aún grandes. De este a oeste, estas son Playa Dorada, Playa Blanca y Playa Flamingo. Esta geografía básica significa que las playas de Playa Blanca y sus alrededores están protegidas e ideales para nadar y tomar el sol. Playa Blanca está situada en el lado sur de Lanzarote y con los años se ha convertido en la tercera zona turística más grande de la isla. Galardonado en varias ocasiones por su belleza, este lugar tranquilo y agradable es el lugar ideal para que toda la familia se relaje. Playa Blanca tiene una amplia gama de hoteles rodeados de un floreciente sector de servicios: bares, restaurantes, negocios ... y uno de los mejores deportes recreativos en Lanzarote. También está cerca de las playas de Papagayo, donde la arena blanca y las aguas cristalinas bañan las rocas. Puedes encontrar todo tipo de restaurantes, tiendas y bares a lo largo del paseo marítimo de Playa Blanca, y las calles paralelas a él, en el borde del casco antiguo. Otra área que es imprescindible visitar es el puerto recreativo, repleto de instalaciones recientemente construidas de alta calidad. También cuenta con un nuevo centro comercial. Entre las playas, las de Dorada y Flamingo destacan por su arena blanca y su proximidad a los principales hoteles de la zona.

A honest review Good points Property close to the beach , shops & restaurants. Location is excellent Communication was excellent Check was easy Bad points The property smelt of damp or mould The pool was deep and dirty The showers leaked and most days the hot water cuts to cold The iron cannot hold water because the cap is broken so leaks Cracked tiles Patched up paint work No locks on bathroom door or 1 bedroom doorThe major bedroom had a window which over looked the street with no curtainThe sofa was broken as well the the lamp on the lounge Kitchen basic and not big enough for the amount of people the property holds

Superb property in a superb location!! The property was very clean and well equipped and very spacious and we loved the pool. Quiet location but close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Would definitely book again!

Good communication via e-mail from the agency. The villa is in a great location. It's only10 mins or so to the promenade. 5 mins to the nearest supermarket, restaurant and cafe/bar. All equipment in the villa which we used worked effectively and the pool/terrace area is generally sunny and private. At this time shade meant the pool didn't heat up much but that wasn't surprising. We had no real complaints at all and would be happy to re-book in future.

We are a couple and stayed for 56 nights in December and January.Great location, good outside space, light and airy rooms. Good sized bedrooms & bathrooms.The kitchen is small, which we knew when we booked. If the villa is full, there is a shortage of crockery and cutlery. Could also be useful to have a few more cooking utensils. Kitchen cupboards need replacing or painting again, as the paint is coming off.Bathrooms are good, although the shower trays look a little grubby. Bought a couple of covered bins for organic waste as the bins provided were open topped.Bedrooms are a good size, with plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. Beds comfortable, however would strongly recommend mattress and pillow protectors. The pillows really need replacing.There is a significant amount of damp / flaking paint in villa. Had an issue with water ingress when it rained. We reported this, once it was determined that it was rain and not a burst pipe, nothing was done to fix it.TV requires a Google update, which prevented us from receiving English channels or Netflix / Prime. We were advised that a technician would come to do the update. This never happened. Communications are on WhatsApp which goes to an AI Assistant which will escalate to the team advising that someone will be in touch on the chat. This may or may not happen. Although it may seem that we are being overly critical, for the money that we paid we were disappointed with the quality of this villa. I

Initial impression was let down by the amount of dead leaves swirling around the enclosed entrance. Not improved by the badly chipped paint around the handles of the kitchen cupboard doors and damp patches on the walls. However, it was mostly saved by the bright, spacious rooms, good kitchen and bathroom facilities and an outside area that got plenty of sunshine.Despite the obvious damp issue around the door, the master bedroom was fresh enough for us to use. The bed was comfortable but no matress protector fitted and, when we stripped the bedding for washing, the matress was quite badly stained.WiFi was good but the "smart" tv was not very smart. It would not connect to Netflix and although we logged in to Prime, the language option was disabled, so all dialogue in Spanish. No instruction provided.Unfortunately, although the outside area was a good space it was not very clean. We accept that there is a lot of dust in the air in Lanzarote but seats and tables all needed a hose down on arrival. More disappointing was the state of the pool. We accepted the layer of sandy grit on the bottom but the sides were also not clean and the edges above the waterline were a bit green. Although the water looked clean, we did not risk it! As two adults, the lack of any indication of depth was less of a concern, but it was quite deep, so a worry for small children. This has the potential to be really good but let down by poor attention to detail and cleanliness. Possibly no recent use?
