One of the best

The apartment is spotless, elegant and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. It has great views of the park and if you are there either on a wednesday or saturday, you have the market on your doorstep! We have stayed in many holiday flats and this was one of the best.

Ideal location inside wall of Lucca

Excellent

We had a great stay in this spacious, clean apartment. Great location across from the wall, convenient for walking/biking or just people watching from the living room. The kitchen was well stocked though we took advantage of the numerous restaurants within walking distance. Private parking in the gated parking lot was a plus. Carla was very responsive to all communication and is genuinely a nice lady. Would love to stay here again if fortunate enough to be in Lucca.

"This apartment is deligh...

"This apartment is delightful. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, quiet, with some lovely views - at the front over the walls which were always interesting and at the back over a lovely garden. It was very well situated being a short walk into town centre and an easy walk to the station or to buses. We enjoyed our stay without any problems. I would recommend this apartment to anyone and have already done so. We thought it was very very good."

"Apartment was bigger tha...

"Apartment was bigger than it looked in the photos and beautifully equipped with very comfortable furniture. Quiet except for one noisy neighbor, but you can't control that. A little far from the center of things but that also makes it quiet and gives you a view of the walls. Overall, it was great. Wish it came with bikes."

What a great apartment!

We had a wonderful stay at Carla's apartment! It is very comfortable, clean, homey and tastefully decorated. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is one of the best-equipped apartments that we have stayed in. It has everything that you would require and more. It has also a great ventilation so we had no need to use the AC. It has a great location with close proximity to everything that Lucca has to offer. It is 5 minutes by car from the train station and 18 minutes by walking. At night it is very quiet so you get great sleep. Carla is friendly, charming and a great hostess. This apartment is a perfect base for a stay in Lucca

Cozy apartment, great location and amazing host

This was our first time in Tuscany. Carla waited for us in the apartment upon arrival. She came downstairs to show us where to park and explain about the keys. Then she took us to the apartment and we were pleasantly surprised. It resembles the photographs. We loved it. Very clean, cozy, tastefully decorated with so many attention to details. Equipped with everything one may need on vacation or at home. From slippers and linen to shampoos, from playing cards and board games to pans and pots. To sum it up, it felt like we were at our home in Italy. Carla was such a sweet and nice lady. Again, she treated us like family and made sure that we felt welcomed. Not to forget that location is great. Right next to the city walls ,but inside and walking distance (5-10 minutes) to the old town where restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, cafes and other services are located. Lucca is beautiful town and we made a right decision to base ourselves in the city for our Tuscan experience. We found Florence way to overcrowded and polluted while Lucca was quieter, authentic Italian town with good restaurants and not many tourists. Overall, this was a great stay. Many thanks to Carla. She was such a warm and welcoming lady.

Magnífico apartamento en el centro de Lucca

Estupendo apartamento en el centro de Lucca. Dispone de todo lo necesario para una perfecta estancia y se encuentra situado en un lugar perfecto para recorrer a pie la ciudad de Lucca. Inigualable igualmente la amabilidad y disponibilidad de su propietaria, Carla. En resumen, altamente recomendable para disfrutar de la ciudad de Lucca y de la región de la Toscana.

No dejeis de visitar esta ciudad y al hacerlo venir a este alojamiento.

Un lugar cómodo y confortable, situado en un ligar privilegiado de la ciudad, su muralla. Esta ciudad consta de tres etapas, que tendréis que venir a ver y disfrutar con su arquitectura, desde los romanos pasando por la edad media para llegar a la fortificación exterior por la cual discurre una buena parte de la vida del lugar.

Tuscan treasure

We were met by Carla at the apartment and she kindly explained in Italian and a little English (with the help of Google translate) how things worked. There were written instructions in English too. The apartment is very well positioned just inside the city wall. It’s easy to get your bearings and to walk around the city to see the sights. We also did a day trip to Pisa using the train. Very easy (recommend getting off at Pisa San Rossore station rather than Centrale as it’s nearer to the Tower etc). The apartment was really well appointed with everything that you could need if you wanted to self cater but equally there are lots of restaurants nearby too. We tried Santi Peccanti restaurant on our last night and would highly recommend it as a treat.

Excellent stay in Lucca

We had a great time at Carla's place in Lucca. The property is located just inside the old city walls of Lucca and was perfect for our family of 5. The property included secure parking and the use of 3 bicycles, which we enjoyed very much. There was air conditioning in the apartment, except in one of the bedrooms, where a fan was provided. The kitchen was very well stocked which allowed us to prepare some of our own meals. Overall, we would highly recommend this property. Thank you Carla!

Great apartment

This place was perfect for our family of 6 with three spacious bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen, and two nice bathrooms with laundry. The place was clean and comfortable, had parking and three bicycles we could use to explore Lucca. Carla was the nicest host!

Wonderful!

This is a beautiful apartment in a great location. It’s in a quieter, residential street but so close to all the main sights in Lucca - and you can walk everywhere. It was lovely being right at the tree-lined city wall and watching all the people walking, jogging and cycling by. We cycled around ourselves and had a great time. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need - and more! It was spotlessly clean and it really felt like a home rather than a rental. Carla is a lovely host and extremely helpful and considerate. The apartment even had a parking space, which I had not realised when I booked it. It made parking very easy as I initially parked at a meter outside then moved the car to the private space once we checked in. There is a Conrad supermarket a few minutes walk away and the most delightful square (Piazza San Francesco) with a great cafe for morning coffees and pastries, right in front of the church. There was also an excellent pizzeria (very popular with the locals) called Marameo on the same square which had an outside, inside and garden area to choose from. It was so good we ate there two nights in a row!!! This is only a few minutes walk from the apartment. From piazza San Francesco it is an easy walk to Piazza Amfiteatro and the main streets of Lucca with all the shops and restaurants. My only regret is that we did not stay long enough. We will be back. Thank you so much Carla.

Top Lage

Wir waren 5Tage in Lucca. Die Wohnung hat eine sehr gute Lage, ruhig aber trotzdem zentral. Man kann eigentlich alles gut zu Fuß erreichen in der Altstadt. Der Rundweg auf der Mauer hat uns besonders gut gefallen Carla hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, besonders nett war, dass für unseren kleinen Sohn das Kinderbett schon liebevoll vorbereitet war. Vielen Dank an Carla für alles.

Als Familie mit 2 erwachsenen Kindern fanden wir eine große geräumige Stadtwohnung vor, die sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet war. Die Wohnung liegt zentral und doch ruhig und entsprach genau dem, was wir für unseren Urlaub in Lucca erwartet haben. Von Frau Parenti wurden wir auf das herzlichste willkommen geheißen. Die Kommunikation mit Frau Parenti via Mail in Englisch war problemlos und zuverlässig möglich. Nochmals ein herzliches Dankeschön! Jochen O.

Séjour parfait !

L’appartement de Carla est très bien situé : dans la vieille ville, à l’intérieur des murailles, mais en bordure. Cela permet non seulement d’avoir, du salon, une très agréable vue sur lesdites murailles, mais cela permet surtout d’avoir un accès direct en voiture à l’appartement (d’autant plus appréciable qu’il y a une place de parking réservée dans la cour, chose rarissime à Lucques). On peut, à partir de là, arpenter tout Lucques à pied, et prendre sa voiture pour aller à la plage, en montagne, à Florence... L’appartement en lui-même est grand, très bien équipé et plein de charme. Les deux chambres (l’une avec un lit 160 x 200, l’autre avec 2 lits simples qui peuvent être réunis en un grand lit de 160 ; dans les deux cas, les matelas sont fermes) et la salle de bains donnent à l’arrière, sur cour et jardin, et sont équipées de moustiquaire. Par ailleurs, la grande chambre et le salon sont aussi équipés d’une efficace climatisation (dans la chambre à 2 lits, excellent ventilateur). Cerise sur le gâteau, Carla est une propriétaire attentive, d’une grande gentillesse et d’une rare réactivité. Bref, c’est une adresse particulièrement recommandable !

Wonderful time in Lucca

We stayed at Carla’s apartment for 6 weeks and were extremely pleased with everything, the location, communication , size of the apartment. Carla was always available whenever we needed her. There was endless supply of linens and towels. We enjoyed greatly sitting on the terrace overlooking the wall Highly recommend.

Un appartement cosy à deux pas du centre

L'appartement situé à deux pas du centre ville avec vue sur les remparts - lieu de promenade à pied ou en vélo - est très agréable à vivre, très confortable et très bien équipé. La cuisine offre tout le nécessaire pour les repas et ouvre sur un petit balcon, la salle de bains est très agréable, la literie excellente. L'accueil est chaleureux et la propriétaire très disponible. Deux vélos sont proposés, qui permettent de belles balades dans cette ville si agréable. Nous reviendrons !
