The apartment was great- 2 comfortable beds and 2 full bathrooms, well equipped kitchenette. Great communication with host. Location is excellent with easy access to metro A line and busses to get to city center and trastevere. The neighborhood has great shops including cafes, specialty meet/cheese, and cafe/bakery. I would stay again on our next visit.

Great Place to stay

One of the best places to stay in Rome. The owner is so kind and she is always available to answer any of your questions. The color combination of the bedrooms and bathrooms is visual Treat. I will definitely recommend this place for the family.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and safe and in a great location. Vania was so easy to work with and very responsive to all of our questions. She helped to arrange transportation to and from the airport. There was plenty of space for our family. There were cafes and shops nearby for anything that we needed while we were there.

My three teenagers and myself really enjoyed our time here. The apartment was clean, comfortable, close to transit, and walking distance from restaurants. Vania was lovely and helpful!

My wife, daughter-in-law, son and I had a wonderful time at A Passino from St. Peter's apartment in Rome. The location is great, close to many food shops and a short walk to St. Peter's. Communication with Vania was great, and we really enjoyed her recommendation for a local restaurant as well.

Week in Rome

The apartment was sufficient for our stay in Rome. It would have been helpful to have written out instructions on the cooling units in the unit as well as the water heaters. Our second bedroom shower water was not consistently warm. Located close to METRO, coffee shop, great restaurants, and grocery store.

Great Location For a Roman Holiday

We were very pleased with our stay at A Passino from St. Peter's. The neighborhood provided many local shops such as cafes, groceries, gelateria (a personal favorite just across the street), and pharmacy. The access to the train and subway were both short walks away. The accommodations were comfortable and allowed my wife and adult son to have space to rest or even prepare a small meal. Vania was an excellent host. She provided great communication throughout the process from inquiries while searching for a property to check-in procedures and checkout logistics. Overall we highly recommend this property as a comfortable base for a visit to Rome.

Great location for sightseeing

Apartment as described in bio. Great location for sightseeing trip with plenty of bars and restaurants around both for breakfast and dinner. 10min from Vatican. Two bed and two bathrooms, clean very good. Only disadvantage of flat is darkness, one bedroom has windows to mini courtyard, kitchen dark. We did only sleep there, no big issues. Pictures have white squares in the windows which are not real.

Dear Michal, thank you for your review. About the apartment’s light, you know, as described in the advertisement the apartment is located on the ground floor and this is the reasons of the apartment’s darkness as all the apartment located on the ground floor. You can have more light between 12 and 2pm when the light turn exactly in that way, but probably, and I hope, in that time you went out to see the beautiful Rome. So the picture were probably taken at that time and I also remember the apartment’s light system was off, and there is nothing unreal. I don’t understand what do you mean with “pictures have quite squares in the windows”. Anyway, I’m sure you have loved Rome and nothing compare with the light of my apartment 😉

Excelente ubicación, a pocos pasos del Vaticano. Alojamiento muy limpio y con todo lujo de detalles. Muy buena atención por parte de la propietaria. Volveremos.

Un lugar tranquilo

El apartamento está en una zona tranquila, aunque un poco alejada para ir andando. Eso sí, hay una parada de metro cerca (Cipro), así que no hay problema. En cuanto al apartamento en sí, está bien para dos o como mucho tres personas, sobre todo porque la cocina es pequeña. Se echa de menos una cafetera. Hay aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones, y se agradece mucho en verano, ya que funciona muy bien. Propiedad limpia en general, con servicios básicos cerca (supermercado Conad) y el Pizzarium de Bonci frente a la parada de metro. Recomiendo dejar el desplazamiento desde y al aeropuerto a Vania, en 20 min. estás en el aeropuerto.

Cómodo apartamento cercano al Vaticano

El aparyamento es nuevo y bien equipado. Tiene cerca la parada de metro y tren lo que facilita el transporte con las otras zonas de Roma y con el aeropuerto. En caso de ser más de 4 personas la cocina-comedor se queda un poco pequeña de espacio y la nevera es de tamaño reducido. Apartamento ideal para una pareja con niños. Muy buena atención por parte de la propietaria.

Trip to Rome for US

Great location that is convenient to Metro close to Vatican. Within short walking distance to resturants, markets, etc. Hostess was very accommodating, arranged for our transfer for airport and answered all our questions prior / during our visit. Highly recommend this property.

Rome at Vania’s

Small apartment with everything we needed. Kitchenware is limited, but ok for a vacation as we were not planning on cooking. Location was very good with easy access to public transportation. Vania was extremely helpful with very good information about the area, tickets and transportation, even before we got there, and responded very quickly. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect apartment for Roma vacation

My husband and I first stayed in this apartment in September 2018 when we visited Rome with his parents. We loved it so much, we booked it again for our vacation in August 2021 even though it was just the two of us. This apartment is so nice! It's very clean, comfortable, and had everything we could have needed for our stay, including air conditioning (it was so hot during our trip!) and a washing machine, which helped us to pack lighter. It's been beautifully updated and maintained. We especially loved the beautiful showers and the comfortable furniture. The apartment was impeccably clean when we arrived, and the building itself was also very clean (we saw staff nearly every day cleaning windows, doors, and floors of common spaces) and quiet. The building is access-controlled and we felt very safe during our stay. The surrounding neighborhood is residential (small tourism footprint) and during our stay, many (but not all) shops and restaurants were closed as their owners were on vacation. There is a pharmacy and a grocery store you can walk to in less than 10 minutes. We made daily visits to La Siciliana and also dined at Trattoria da Zacca (aka Sora Gina; highly recommended!) twice. We enjoy staying in a neighborhood that is more residential than touristy, and this apartment was perfect. The Vatican is a 10-15 minute walk away, and it's easy to get to many other places by Uber or taxi. The apartment/neighborhood is a convenient location for Uber/taxi pickup and drop-off, as it's not as hectic as busy tourist areas and there is a lot more parking available. Finally, Vania has been an exceptional hostess and it has been such a pleasure working with her again on our stay. In 2018 and for our recent trip, she kindly arranged rides to the airport which saved us a lot of money on taxi fees and gave us peace of mind that we didn't have to wait around for a car early in the morning. There is also plenty of literature in the apartment about how everything works, local guides, etc. Vania was on holiday when we arrived, but she arranged for a friend to meet us in person which we appreciated. Thank you again, Vania, and we hope to return to this lovely apartment again on our next visit to Rome!

Excellent location

This property was exactly as we expected. The location was fantastic as it was down the street from the metro. Also, there’s a grocery store and many fine restaurants right around the apartment. Vania was fantastic in communicating everything we needed to know and arranging transportation to and from the airport.

Schöner Aufenthalt in Rom

Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben. Sie war modern eingerichtet und beide Bäder sind sehr neu und gepflegt. Nur die Fotos waren etwas aufgehübscht. Der Vatikan war auch wie angegebenen in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Bus und U-Bahn waren nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und bei Fragen zu erreichen. Alles sehr unproblematisch. Nur die Gegend der Wohnung war zwar nicht die schönste. Aber es war alles in der Nähe, was man brauchte.

Süsse Wohnung

Wir waren ein langes Mädelswochenende in Rom, die Gastgeberin ist wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig und mit 2 Bädern war es mit 4 Frauen perfekt :) Kleiner Minuspunkt: die Schlafcouch im zweiten Schlafzimmer ist zwar grosszügig aber sie ist schon etwas durch... kinder können da sicher super drauf schlafen aber für zwei Erwachsene wars etwas unbequem weil es bei jeder Bewegung knarrt. Ansonsten war alles super!

Great location, no parking included, 2nd bed is a pullout

The best parts of this place is how clean and updated it is and most importantly how great of a location and neighborhood it is. Unfortunately, there are too many surprises for me to give it a great review. 1. parking is not included as indicated on the amenities, you have to pay and struggle to find parking in this very busy neighborhood. 2. On seee of the beds is a pullout not a mattress and is not very comfortable. 3. The washer/dryer is not functional. The property and management needs to be more upfront with it's actual offerings.

Hello Robert! I have just read your review. I’m a little bit surprise because I think when you have booked you don’t read well my page. About parking (parcheggio) is written that is not free. And about bed is very clear that there are 2 sofa bed. About washer if you’d told me, I can solve the problem while you were inside and use it. Infact the guests after you have had the same problem but I have solved only by message with them. Anyway thank you very much for your opinion and for your stay! Perfect location for a tour of rome

This apartment was more than we expected! Although it is not situated in the heart of the "tour" district we found it to be perfect as it is only 2 blocks from the metro and a 15 min walk to the Vatican museum. Lots of local amenities near by; grocery, cafe, restaurants, ATM, etc all within a 5 minute walk. Very secure building in a family neighborhood. Vania is so friendly and helped us with arranging transportation to the airport. Overall we were very pleased and would gladly return in the future.
