Overview
Rabbits View is a luxurious Hobbit House nestled in the hillside of our site in the heart of Mid Wales, a short distance away from the beautiful Elan Valley. Rabbits View is the 5th Hobbit House on our site as well as our Shepherds Huts & Glamping Pods, all properties share the same glorious view yet all have their own privacy for that relaxing getaway.

This unique Hobbit House sleeps up to 6 guests between 3 bedrooms. Two with King Size beds and one bunk bed room. The master bedroom not only has the most comfy luxurious bed but also boasts a unique free standing bath over looking the rolling hills of Mid Wales. The second King bedroom having French doors out on to the paved area outside.

An open plan living area means even if you are relaxing on the quirky emerald green sofa you can still admire the unique pink kitchen which comes fully equipped with oven, hob and fridge with ice compartment, and microwave. Whether you have cooked up a storm or ordered in a takeaway there is space for 6 people around the dining table with the most comfy of dining chairs so that all guests can dine & raise a glass together.

The bathroom is complete with freestanding sink basin with eliminated mirror, large shower and toilet.

If all this sounds fabulous, what until you hear about the outside..

Rabbits View has its very own private hot tub on the paved area outside, so sit back and relax in the bubbles an admire the stunning view of the valley below. If you enjoy alfresco dining, there is a outdoor seating area with fire pit, perfect for toasting marshmallows under the glorious evening sky.

This property is truly is a 'hidden' gem. Quirky, cosy and created just for you with all the unique features it has to offer.

Visit the near by Market Town of Rhayader just 2 miles down the road, where you will find places to eat and relax in as well as local shops to browse around.

Beautiful accommodation
Absolutely amazing place !! The accommodation is brilliant, never stayed anywhere like it before. Also, having the highland cows in the field in front was a real bonus for my daughter, who loves them !! Would highly recommend it. Only a small downside, only one bathroom and when there is 5 people staying need another toilet !!

The perfect family getaway
I was looking to have a break from home and work life for a couple of nights and have some family time. It was very easy to book and communication with the staff was 5* The hobbit house was perfect! It was big enough for the 5 of us, clean and tidy, the beds were really comfortable, all furnishings were really good quality, there were hand and bath towels for everyone and they even included coffee, tea, sugar, milk, washing up liquid and soap! Even though there are other hobbit houses, they are far enough apart so it feels like no one else is there. The hot tub was easy to use and felt very private with a lovely view! We also used the big fire pit and toasted marshmallows. Even though it rained the whole time, it was a perfect break away! We will definitely return!

Birthday weekend away with family
Booked Rabbits view for wife’s Birthday and was not disappointed…was nice to get away from the chaos and chill out. The views are amazing and the walks are great! Kids loved the outdoors and will definitely be booking again

A few days of romance
We stayed here as a couple for our 6 year anniversary which was honestly lovely! My partner actually surprised me and proposed! So this will be a very special place to us forever!! Had a massage by Aggie which I highly recommend and also got some preordered food from farmgate2kitchengate (both contacts in your email from holidaywales). My only negative would be the insects and spiders!! I am not a creepy crawly kind of girl and if you dont like them bring some bug spray! The property do give you a fly trap but it wasnt enough. The flys, dragon flies, mosquitos, spiders and slugs were everywhere! Maybe the property can include some bug stuff for people to use - would change my review to 5 stars for sure! Also the kitchen would be another negative as the cupboards smelt like vomit - could of just been a dirty cup or something but I have weak stomach so couldnt go in said cupboard! Also another feedback for the owners would be to supply some cleaning products for the kitchen as couldnt find anything to clean down the kitchen sides/table and hob. Had such a lovely time even with the few bits of feedback to the owners! Will definetly return :)
