Highly recommended. A beautiful, quiet part of the world. House had everything we needed and we even were lucky enough to have a moon free, dark night to see the Milky Way!

An old property with great potential. Remote lovely garden only sheep for neighbours. Cottage itself is large with 2 lovely comfy bedrooms each end and 2 other bedrooms in middle. Although lovely old charm needs upgrading and cleaning really not good enough. Host was easy to get in touch with and great response and informative. Don't think she realises how badly the cottage needs a good deep clean.

A beautiful cottage and grounds set in the stunning Welsh countryside. Beds were extremely comfortable. Cottage was beautifully presented. A really good place for a family break. Loads of stuff to do nearby, surrounded by villages with pubs and cafes within a reasonable distance. Working out the thermostat to get a hot shower/bath was a bit of a pain and some rails in the bathroom would be helpful for for those who are older or have mobility issues. There was no hairdryer, toilet roll was about half a roll per toilet and no paper towels as advertised. However the prosecco, Welsh cakes, bara brith and milk was greatly appreciated. Sky TV was a big plus in the evenings (we're used to getting glitchy freeview when we stay in out of the way places like this). All in all, this was an absolutely lovely place to stay and we would happily return.

Fantastic hideaway cottage to get away from all the noise of cities. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Clean and well kept throughout.Garden ideal for children to play in.Host very kind and friendly ensuring you have arrived safely and good communication through my stay.Lovely towns and shops nearby and Fantastic countryside to see.Will definitely be staying again

Fantastic rural cottageWe wanted somewhere pet friendly and quiet to take a short break and this place ticked all the boxes. Lovely big garden with firepit. Cottage itself is rustic and traditional Welsh. It was overall clean and tidy but did have some cobwebs in places - to be expected due to location and age however, certainly not a problem! Very quiet and secluded. No neighbors other than sheep.Host very friendly and lovely to talk to when she called to make sure we had got in ok on check in. Only thing I would suggest to improve the place would be to fit some pull down blinds or other covers to the skylights in the bedroom - they did make it very bright come dawn and a light-sensitive sleeper would be put out by it I suspect. Overall very happy with the trip - We will be back one day no doubt.

We love staying at this property with all its character and charm. The countryside is on your doorstep with noone around to disturb you and noone for you to disturb.The kids love the garden and walking/ driving up to see, the wild horses, this time there were foals which was great.The cottage has everything you need and although we couldnt use the fire pit due to the national ban, the fire in the living room was cosy at night.We visited the local pub for tea rhis time and the food was fantastic. We have found the locals to be vert friendly ans helpful. Our dog ran off and they helped us within minutes to search. We found him in the field next to the cottage thankfully. The sheep were too interesting so just make sure you keep a close eye on nosy doggies! Angelika always checks in to make sure all is well and has been great sending something back to us that was lost. Thanks for being a lovely host. Were already planning our next trip back, thanks again for the best time. Sarah and family xx

Angelika was a super thoughtful, attentive & courteous host. The property was superb too - very remote, unfussy but with everything you could need. We had a great stay & just wished it could have been longer.

We had a lovely time and a well needed break in the countryside in this cottage. It has rustic charm and all the mod cons needed for a fantastic stay. It's location is quiet and secluded which we loved and the town of Knighton a short drive away which we visited twice during our 3 night stay. You can have a walk straight out of the cottage into the countryside with wild horses near by. The kids and our dog loved the garden and the tree swing was a bonus! The big kids loved the fires inside and out, which made it cozy and welcoming inside and warm outside to enjoy the outdoors for longer.Angelika checked we were okay when we arrived and before we left, which was really appreciated and we knew she would help if we needed anything.Thank you again for a wonderful time, we will be booking again very soon! Xx
