The Green Cabin at Luna's Trail

This property is part of the 350 acre Luna's Trail Resort but maintains privacy and has a beautiful view of Hanging Rock year round and Pilot Mountain in the winter. We offer meals at the nearby Lodge on weekends.
The Green Cabin is a comfortable 3 bedroom home with large common areas including ample seating in the living room as well as a separate room with pool table and satellite TV. Guests at the cabin can enjoy a great view of Hanging Rock, Sauratown, and Pilot Mountain. This house is nestled within a crop of over 500 blueberry bushes, so July may offer a special opportunity for picking. This one includes a full kitchen, wi-fi, TV, coffee maker, sheets, and towels, and outdoor grill. All guests are allowed access to the pond and water activities, hiking trails, and farm animals.

If the property is not rented the night before, then check in time is flexible. If the property is not rented the day after, then check out time is also flexible.

There is also a wedding venue on the property (far away from the cabin), so you may inquire as to whether there is an event during your stay.

Our restaurant is available Friday Lunch - Sunday Breakfast.

Our family, including dog, really loved the room to hang out and connect without being on top of each other. The location was beautiful and relaxing. We hiked around Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain and investigated the trails round Luna Trail Farm.

Great escape

Quiet property with a nice small house very Nicely renovated. The ground around the cabin are not particularly secluded but the view is very nice and the surrounding blue berries and raspberries after definitely a sweet compensation. Air conditioning worked great. Nice kitchen with a decent amount of cooking utensils. Gas grill requires some lighting help but works fine. Bed was comfortable. Could use a tv in the bedroom. Overall though

The Perfect Getaway From It ALL

My family spent Thanksgiving 2021 in the Green Cottage at Luna's Trail. It was perfect. We really enjoyed hiking the well-kept trails on the property and visiting the animals. My daughter, who is in medical school, needed a break from the stress she faces daily and this was a perfect place.

Perfect Hiking Escape!

The cabin and the farm are just lovely and well-centered. We hiked in Hanging Rock, Pilot Mountain and Stone Mountain State Parks and enjoyed the on-site Lodge for dinner one night. Hosts were responsive. Great trip overall!

Family Getaway

Our family of six took advantage of the blueberry bushes, trails, boats on the pond, fishing, but mainly we relaxed. We had one request after arriving which the owner took care of immediately. I would stay here again and have no hesitation recommending it.
