This first floor flat, also accessible by a lift, is situated 150m from the beach, around the corner from bars, restaurants and cinéma, and 200m away from the centre of town (La Couarde).

The flat is a duplex and has been fully refurbished , with new flooring, furniture, bedding, appliances and decorations.

The ground level features a tiled floor and includes a hallway, bathroom, separate toilets, living room with a fully equipped open kitchen with 2 zone induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, multi-function oven, Nespresso coffee-maker, filter coffee machine, kettle and mixer
.

The bedroom is a loft conversion on the first floor of the flat, and has 2 single beds (80*190) which can be joined together, wooden floors, a window looking out into the living room and a Velux window above.

Very confortable for 2 people, it has the possibility of sleeping up to 4 using the sofa-bed (with a Bultex mattress 140*190) in the living-room.

The flat comes with an allocated parking space, access to the swimming pool and to the other amenities of the complex, including a bike shed.

Tout a été parfait depuis l'accueil par Leslie jusqu'à notre départ.S'il faut trouver quelquechose à améliorer c'est un peu juste pour le séchage des serviettes de plage.La place de parking attribuée à l'appartement est un vrai plus.

Top verblijf! alles is voorhanden. Prijs/kwaliteit is zeker ok. Mee rekening houden: je hebt geen terras & het ligt aan een vrij drukke baan (maar de isolatie is top). We waren er voor de tweede keer! Dat zegt genoeg.

Appartement très fonctionnel, très bien équipé et idéalement situé. On peut tout faire à pied , aller à la plage en 3 minutes, le marché avec ses halles à 2 mn , restaurants, commerces, pharmacie a moins de 5mn. Le top pour se ressourcer et reposer. Je recommande vivement pour un couple .

Cet appartement 2 pièces est IDEALEMENT placé à la Couarde 2 min de la plage, 2 min du coeur du village, 2 min du supermarché et 2 min de l'arrêt de bus. Parfaitement meublé et équipé et décoré avec goût. Les fenêtres double-vitrage permettent de ne pas être dérangé par les bruits extérieurs. Le propriétaire est très réactif.

Logement soigné et décoré avec goût et bien situé par rapport aux commerces et plage

Rien à dire sur le logement en soit , bien agencé et très soigné J émettrai une réserve concernant le garage à vélos où il n'y avait pas assez de places pour tout le monde et quartier très bruyant du fait du passage et de la présence d un bar situé juste en face avec soirées organisées tous les soirs jusqu'à 2h du matin.

Bel appartement, mais quelques points d'attention à connaitre

Nous avons loué cet appartement début juillet 2019. La résidence est en fait un ancien hôtel dont les chambres ont été reconverties en appartements, constituant aujourd’hui une copropriété. Certains propriétaires louent leur bien, d’autres non . Les appartements ne sont pas tous identiques : présence de terrasse pour certains, ce qui aura son importance dans la suite ci-dessous. Tout d’abord les points positifs : - appartement très propre - décoration sobre et de bon goût - équipements (électroménager, vaisselle) de bonne qualité et en bon état - situation géographique idéale : 4 mn à pieds de la plage et 4 mn à pieds du centre-ville de La Couarde Il y a malgré tout quelques points gênants à signaler : - l’appartement ne dispose pas de balcon/terrasse et donne sur l’avenue qui est très passante (moins de 10 m devant !). Même si le double-vitrage isole très bien, c’est la catastrophe lorsqu’on ouvre la fenêtre, et s’il fait chaud c’est inévitable. Si d'autres appartements de la résidence sont disponibles, nous conseillons à minima d’en choisir un qui ne donne pas sur la rue, et qui plus est qui dispose d’une terrasse - en face de l’appartement sur l’autre côté de la rue, il y a un bar tapas très sympathique pour déjeuner sur le pouce, mais attention : le soir il y a la musique et les éclats de voix en terrasse jusqu’à 2h du matin - à côté de la résidence il y a une salle des fêtes en réfection (quasiment accolée) ; c’est un très gros chantier (grue, etc…) ; heureusement pour les nuisances sonores le chantier est à l’arrêt l’été, mais pour la vue c’est bof ; lorsqu’on est dans la piscine on a les murs en béton, les gravats, etc… juste sous le nez ; et ça ce n’est pas sur les photos des annonces concernant cette résidence, prises sous un angle différent - la piscine n’est pas chauffée (mais ça nous le savions avant de louer) et très frisquette ; en discutant avec des propriétaires nous avons appris qu’elle le serait prochainement (2020 ou 2021 ?) grâce à des panneaux installés sur le toit de la future salle des fêtes, il faut bien tirer un minimum avantage de ce chantier en compensation des désagréments - pour profiter de l’île il est conseillé de disposer de vélos ; il y a un garage à vélos dans la résidence, mais il est sous dimensionné et plein à craquer ; nous avons à peine pu y poser les nôtres dans un recoin ; c’est dur d’imaginer ce que cela donne en plein été (sur notre semaine nous n’étions pas encore en période scolaire)

Well situated and well equipped apartment

The location is perfect and we rarely used a car. The beach and village centre were minutes away on foot. There was a bus stop nearby to access the rest of the island and cycle hire shops galore. The apartment was as new and tastefully furnished. The owners provided everything we needed and more, such as a dishwasher and coffee machine. As it was exceptionally hot, we would have appreciated a fan or air conditioning. The pool was clean With plenty of loungers. The Ile de Re is not to be missed for beaches, seafood and sunshine.
